nute problem... what are you feeding it? did it get too close to the lights?
miracle grow dude, should i flush, no it wqasnt to close it was in the middle of the plant
26-8-16 by the way
what is the nute problem though and how can i fix it?
going to have to give all info, lights, how strong of nutes, how big is the plant, what size bucket is it in,are you in flower?
You need to give us more info. and use the correct focus on the camera. See how the background is in focus and the plant leaf isn't? Use the macro setting. I can't see anything on that leaf but a blur, so it could be underfeeding, overfeeding, lights too hot/intense, ph problem, anything. You need to give us more info. as we cannot read your mind. :)
Speak for yourself. I can read your mind.Quote:

hey dude i wouldnt trip unless the whole plant is doin it leaves will tend to change colors but what you want to pay attention to is the top of the plant what you can do since ur using miracle grow is to water with a dish washing liquid which will clean the tips of the roots in case of salt build up i did and never had a problem check my plants out have a good day and remember dont try everything that everyone suggests because what i can see on hear is theres alot of amatuer growers here that dont know what theyre talkin about when it comes to growin advice later
Care to prove what you can create then, Mr. Pro. :pQuote:

From Stinky Attic the Chemist:
Dish soap, or any type of soap for that matter, is useless for 'cleaning' salts off your roots.
It is good for dirty dishes.
Salts can sometimes, depending upon their solubility, be dissolved in a SHITLOAD of water. Otherwise you need a chelating agent. It comes from the Greek for 'claw' and is a chemical that grabs ions and makes them less reactive, thus unable to combine into their insoluble salt form and fall out of solution into your dirt. Sample chelating agents are Oxalic acid or EDTA.
If you have salt buildup, there are chelating products on the market that are safe to add to your plant water. And some fertilizer companies are smart and make ferts with the chelated form of whatever it is.
Chelated Iron is a really common one, because as the oxide, it falls out of solution as iron oxide, or rust.
Dish soap has no place in your watering scheme. It is not good for the soil- you need certain bacteria and fungi that live on and around the roots, which, if not present, organic material in the soil is far less available to the plants and you might as well just stick them in a pot of hydroton.
OMG you just got me going on a rant. I hate it when newbs with a post count of like 4 come on here and start spewing that there's so much misinformation and THEIR way is PROFESSIONAL.....
Fuckin A.
As I've said before ... SA knows what she's talking about, probably more than anyone else here.
Love ya UPS, but you're making me blush!Quote:

Are you still using that shit miracle kill-your-pot?
Fix those things and if the problem doesn't go away, then, I'm baffled.
This is what it is.
You over fed them.
And the Nitrogen builds up in the fan leaves (starting at the top)
And burns.
It could be from the wrong ph in your water.
It should be 6-7.
It looks like Mag dificency because when you over dose MJ on Nitrogen it locks out the Mag.
Flush it a couple times.
Alot.Flush it real good.
And raise the light a few inches.
Watchfor hermies.
You can hermie them from over feeding.
It takes a good 7 days for the nute burn to totally show up.
So in a few days it will look way worse.
And then start to heal.
Watch those nute levels.
MGrow sucks for MJ.
Get some Black Gold or Foxfarm.
thnks also, how do i flush them?
You need to sort your light cycle out, its all good giving them 24 hour light. But them plants need rest.
Bang them on a 18/6.
is that true stinky attic do plants need rest?
No.
Not necessary.
I mean, people will argue about this based on the krebs/citric acid cycles of photosynthesis, but cannabis is fine to grow 24 h. Other types of plants WILL suffer.
Hell, I've been growing mine under 24h as long as I've been growing.
Oh and ezmack, flush your plants with 3x their container volume of pH adjusted plain water with no nutes.
Stinkyattic just a quick question re flushing - if you saturate your soil with 3 x the size of pot in plain water won't it over-saturate the soil and possibly drown the roots? Or do you wait for it to work through all the soil inbetween flushes?Quote:

PS! Can you flush your plants at any stage in their development (eg mine are now into 4 weeks of flowering..)
Yes and no... That is why you need to make sure your soil has enough perlite in it, to really take aggressive flushing (among other things). It makes the water drain out much much faster, so the roots don't drown.
But if your soil is heavy and either too clay or too organic matter, yeah, you can have issues.
And obviously if you have no drain holes that is a problem.
And you can flush any time. But I would then give a little weaker nute solution on the next watering.
