Just want to know for how long is the majority of ppl growing MJ...I can say that im still a real noob even after all the reading, posting, chating debatting and video watching, cause my experience resumes to 1 full grow and other that is half way...
First and only grow:...Germinated 18 out 20 seeds directly in the soil. (white widow/rhino) 13 out 18 female. 400HPS Hortilux. 30 days veg, 60-90 days flower. One third harvest- mostly clear/cloudy trich's. One third harvest- mostly cloudy/few amber. Remaining plants-half cloudy/amber. I didn't weigh it, but it filled 30 quart jars, during the final cure 1 JAN 06. It gets better every day. Here it is August, I still haven't emptied the first jar yet. I take small allotments out of different jars each day, since Thanksgiving 05. I can only smoke once each day....I want it to be the best..... I still study the art everyday.
I have been growing successfully for about 2 1/2 years ....the other or first 6 months I was discovering the hard way as most new growers do.
......overfeedings, overwatering, exhausting heat, plant stress, understanding organics, understanding MJ plant botany....:confused:
I felt like I would never get going...I now have about 6 very successful garden harvests under my belt and a large personal stash.\
I love growing from clone now along with seed. I keep only one Mom and grow out another every 6 months of a different strain....but it's cool to keep a clone going just incase.
Too much weed....ever heard that before :dance:
I guess it's because Im not a daily smoker; but what I smoke sure is 100% better than what you find on the market:rasta:

40 years, always on a small scale, for myself ... maximum of 4 plants in the cabinet at a time ... always used bagseed, until the last year, finally bought quality seeds .... NOTHING makes more of a difference than the quality of the seed ... :smokin:
more than 25+ years closer to 30 I'm sure. mostly small crops but have done a few crops with no less than 200 budding females, ;) (thats where growing becomes a job not a hobby and that sucks) Not nowadays but back when laws were less harsh and most cops didn't give a shit. Now I grow between 10-30 female plants a grow. with males probably around 50 give or take a few. Have grown some of the worlds best strains at various times in my life, and met some amazing people (a few cannabis experts) and have heard and had some amazing stories. Image Reaper, you're right about the quality seed but the best strains will preform poorly if growing conditions aren'y optium. ( I know you this, it was for the 'record'.)
Some serious growing experience, there......I tip my hat, sir's.

Interesting results so far ... many things to learn and plenty of ppl to share their knoledge and experience.. thanks ppl, your inputs shows that cannabis cultivation is getting some new fans of this wonderfull way of life, and that the ones that have been doing it for a long time are still with us to show us the way to go....
to those who are cultivating this magical plant for years my deep respect and wishes of many more years doing it
to the ones like me that have just started, dont give up if things dont work out as you expected, just keep on trying and ur dedication and persistence will be rewarded

Been growing hydro for 7 years. Before that in soil for as long as I can remember but to high school. Nothing like knowing where your smoke comes from.
My first try was in 73 or so. The printed material of the time was, ah, full of hooey!
Then late 70's bought my first book...yep also full of fertilizer!
Bought Ed+Mel's book first edition, late 70's-early 80's...crapcrapcrap!! Got a damned section on *curing your fan leaves*,ummm, OK!!
Then raised my kids, and didnt try for a few years.
In late 99, I wanted to learn how to use a computer, so I bought one, and started to push keys, type, search. Found OG, lurked, read, and like Gollum, was completely consumed by the knowledge!! Built a NGB stealth box, in early 2000 , and have run non stop since then, getting 5 crops a year from her. The 150hps/70mh box, averages 75grams to 130grams, of dried, packed away bud, in masons. I then run my trim thru BB's, for a few grams of hash.
Built a larger area, and ran a full blown KFB set up....night and day for 4 years!! Decided enough was enough, and just run wee boxes now. I like getting nice rewards with tiny lights. Been helping friends build and run their set ups. Agin small electric needs to stay under the radar, and stealthy enough for piece of mind.
I've been growing since i was like 7, well, then i was growing with my cousins and they thaught me it all. I started growing my own when i was 12 and have been ever since, as soon as i harvest new seeds are planted. That is ofcourse when im at the home, if im going on holiday i'll stop growing untill im back.
...it's good to operate in...Stealth Mode...on the road..too....

I've been growing for 8 years now .... and I'm still not that great of a grower .... :sadcrying ..... just have to keep working on it.:stoned:
Part of it is being lazy .... :error: :cursing: ... but no more. The ladies must be well taken care of. It's my job now. I talk to them and play them classical music all day .... :smokin: :stoned: :dance:

Growing since 1970. Was working then at a university with environmental chambers, auto greenhouses and grow rooms that ran 8/4 on HPS/Hg. Pot growing has always been dirt, either bucket in sunlight and/or electric or outdoors. Just enough crop for the head.

I think its been 11 years mostly out doors and 4 indoor grows
3 large grows and 1 small 2 plant grow inside (the last grow I
did inside was only 2 plants and I accidentally killed one and gave
the other one away to a friend that is doing his first grow) My out-
door grow usually averages from 10 to 20 plants and 17 of my out-
door plants were stolen this year god damn plant thief's.
