Aye I have seen the movie a couple of times myself.
Have you seen the extras on it? One of them is about some guy called Grandpa Ganja.. he explains a bunch of thigns about weed and shows how proud of a stoner he is.
This guy used to come to my old work (I suspect he still does) and buy a few things. (I worked at Barons, a antural foods grocery store in Rancho Bernardo, san diego). Anyway, the first time he came in he was wearing this shirt with a picture of him on it, and a bunch of marijuana plants. I was working a lot of register so I got to talk to him pretty often. I asked him if he'd like to blaze sometime but he'd always tell me he was real busy and all. Cool guy though, he was always shaking and seemed really uneasy around people.. maybe smoking for 60 years will eventually do that to ya, hah!
He gave me a couple of his books once.. I was supposed to pay him next time I'd see him but I quit and never saw him again. Now that I think of it I still have his email... hey, ya know what.
I'm going to email him and let him know that if he wants his money he has to take a break and blaze with me. mwaaah.
Thanks for the idea ;)
Yeah, i've seen it. My friends and I actually got high and watched it one day on tv. Was a little over the top, if i must say.
By the way.. Grandpa Ganja is a funny chatacter.. you guys might want to check out his stuff.
He has written a few books.. I own two of them and only know of them twos:
*Grandpa's Marijuana Handbook (Really funny book about marijuana stories..quite an imagination) and;
*Guerilla Warfare for Teachers (Some book infused with massive use of sarcasm..helping out teachers understanding what's going on in the student's heads and whatnot)
Anyway.. his name's Evan Keliher and he's a good guy who deserves a lot of credibility!
In the movie mentioned in this thread.. his cat eats his weed plant while he's talking to the camera :stoned:
LOL, that alone would be enough for me to watch it.Quote:

Everybody.
And i saw it on VHS i dont think anything was at the end other than the credits.
My sis told me that her bf's parents(who own the movie) saw it in school.
School has changed so much since then.
Where in CT are you?
make it legal..
YES! MAKE IT LEGAL!
Anyway, make it legal, I don't know who you are, but you, are the man.
CAn't get over how ridiculously exagerated this movie is, it's so funny!
I'm sorry but I hated this movie. I also hate those entirely horrid government and DEA bullshit advertisements, and propaganda in any sort.
It unsettles me. It's not that i have insecurities about my own smoking, its the fact that someone would actually go out and make these things. It's like if you're black, and you hear that a group of people (kkk) just started up, and hold all the blacks they see in a tiny barred room where big rascists can come anally rape them for a few hours every day.
It fucking horrifies me.
The gullibility of so many fellow humans horrifies me.
*sigh*... I am SO moving to Amsterdam/canada...
That movie is priceless. It's amazing to me, however, that we allow ourselves to fall under the spell of propoganda with marijuana again with Partnership for a Drug Free America, DARE, and their ilk.Quote:
