my first grow is almost ready to flower

so ive been growing on my own with no help as of yet ive had problems that went unanswered i solved them myelf i had yellowing and curling leaves and starting adding CalMag plus and 12-0-0 and those babies took right off.

LST training my cab is kinda small 32x16x16 so i vegged them now a month and in a few days im going to flower them and hope for the best but so far all seems well they are under a 150watt HPS.

hey thanks alot this is a pretty fun hobby and its a nice smell in my home too just hope no one wants to check my water meter ;)

i have a question should i keep training them a few weeks into flower or just let them go....?

depends on what you want invasoin. i lst to the 3rd week 12/12 then the last tie down i leave them tyed so the buds are getting most light .by the way nice looking plants mate.best of luck with the grow.the postman.

well considering my small space i guess keep them down :D seems most sensible to me.....

ok quick update gave them some water and calmag plus.....this stuff is amazing all should buy it but anyways here they are 2 days later released from training for a few days

my temps stay at 84-86F i have plenty of air movement in there the stalks on these things are huge like maple trees :dance:

i water every 3rd day now they suck down that water pretty quick once they start going and i water with a half gallon each plant i pretty much use the soak and dry method and my pots are very light when they need water another good thing to keep in mind :thumbsup:

im switching to 12/12 tonight for 10pm to 10am this works out for me cause i leave at 7am and not home until 10pm right when lights go on :D

did you find out what was cuasing them to droop and is this what the cal mag = sorted out

my main problem wa i never looked into quality water figured my tap would do but my water here sucks and didnt realize it until 2 weeks into growing so i switched to distilled but my problems never went away after a week then i read about calmag plus how it puts back in what the distilled water didnt have then i used a 12-0-0 and epsom salt for the next few feeding and here they are today not dead like i was thinking thi grow was going :dance:

yeh ive used cal mag = since latewood recomended it to me . it does the trick .my water is hard hear to so i boil it first and then leave it for 2 days does the job for me and ias i said very nice plants mate .best of luck and be safe .the postman.

they started thier 12/12 cycle last night 10pm to 10am they just keep growing :)

quick update i tied them down again they grew almost 2inches in 36hrs dang......

all the under growth is bursting through the canopy is pretty even hope i dont run out of room

6 days flower now they are growing like monsters and im almost out of width in my box its really full in there i can imagine in another 2 weeks the leaves are going to block the light from reaching the bottom so its all concentrated on the tops like i wanted it to be.

the LST'ing is coming along great looks like a sea of plants just from the two thats in there.

nope not overwatered the light just came on they were warming up maybe on 10min ill take a pic tonight with the lights on them for awhile so you can see those babies perking up to the light,

i have these pics from last night i gave them a nice flush i had a slight bronze on a few leaves figured i was getting a buildup in the soil and i was it was nice and yellow so they look a little down but when ill checked on them before i went to work they were perking up again.

well havent updated in awhile cause my internet got knocked out will be fixed tommorow no pics but heres the update as of now.

i sexed both plants one was a male and one a female i was a bit bummed with the single female but i was running out of width space fast so i killed it off leaving a nice spacious spot for my lady.

she is 14days into flower looks awsome im going to start her nutes soon and need a little help on it, i have 2 flowering nutes one is a 10-15-10 and the other is a 10-52-10 so should i use the 10-15-10 for the first few feedings or go right with the big guns??
