is it going to die

ok heres the problem.
i have 1 plant growing in a greenhouse in the garden (uk).
growing in coco husk & fed with hydro tops grow solution a & b. 4ml to 1 ltr water.
the plant is about 4ft tall & was looking nice & green.but now the leaves are starting to go a lighter shade of green & the leaf stems are turning in color to purple.just on some of the leafs,not all.but the leafs look like they are dying off.is this normal for this to happen on a outside plant.
i have flushed out the roots & changed the feed to ,hydro tops bloom solution a & b.4ml to 1 ltr water.
now the plant is in bloom,should i increase the feed or am i wasting my time with it,
any help appreciated.

my guess would be a MAG deficiency... try adding some dolomite lime... Check the PH of the soil if you can... could be a nute lockout. My plant did that exact same thing and I added lime as a top dressing and pushed some water down.... Lime has calcium and Magnesium and will act as a PH buffer to not get a nute lockout... You still have to keep an eye on the soild PH though.. Hope this helps

im finding it hard to get some dolomite lime but been told that epson salts do the same job. magnesium defiency.spray the leaves.im going to get some tomorrow.
how long before i can see the effects?.
or should i just get the dolomite lime?
shes still getting lighter in color.

dolomite lime will stablize your ph-6.5-7 and it adds mag.the lime will make a huge difference in your grow.epsom salts are great if you need a qiuck shot of mag.definatly get the lime.2 tablespoons per gallon of soil just top dress it wioth the lime

i have the epson salts & the lime now & just sprayed the plant.
also put the lime on the top of the coco husk & poured some feed on to dilute it to the roots.
feed bucket holda 25 ltrs water,2ml ph down.constant fed .like a auto pot
how long before i can see a change in the plants.here 2 latest pics of the plants & 1 from last week.

i have 1ltr spray gun for the epsom salts.about 4 tea spoons gone into the gun & sprayed yesterday.

How much epsom salts in 1 ltr water & how often do i have to keep spraying the plant.
how often to give the plant lime too. just once?

its looks root bound if you do not have a bigger pot carefully lift her out the pot when she is 100% dry and fill the bottom up about 1/4 of the way up or untill she is level with the ring of the pot that should give you a bit more room and when your done give her a 3 gallon plain water flush.

do nat add anything until after you flushed her out and let her be for a week and see what happens

iv tried the lime & the epsom salts & the plant still looks ill.
i disconected the feed tube & waited to see if its still feeding.
after 2 days,the level of feed hasnt moved at all.plant not taking feed.does this have anything to do with rootbound or do you have any other ideas.
look at the pics of what its growing in & you will see the feeding sysyem.the roots are growing out of the bottom holes in the pot & into the feed.i hope this helps more to a answer from anyone.

get bigger pots quick fast and right now...your baby is in lock because of the room the root is taking up...i bet that when you lift your baby out of the pot its in right now...the roots are all bunched up and are trying to grow out...you need a big pot..i would suggest a 5 gallon bucket or something to that effect...take a drill or a nail and put holes in the bottom for some good water flowing and once the plant is in the bucket or tub...take about 4 gallons of water...ph'd to about 6.5 or 6.2 and poor it on the base of the plant...this allows the roots to spread out and attatch to the dirt in the bucket...

ok.iv now got the plant in a bigger pot,in fact its a bucket.
i have added more coco husk & now the plant is standing in about 3 inch of plain water.
how long before i can start to feed the plant again.

Am I doing anything wrong? My plant is to 2 weeks old and 2 days , As fertilizer I am using Bat Guano , As for lighting I am using a 21 watt bulb . Pictures are below. I have another question, When should I start pruning? Because I am low on space.

This plant is two weeks old, but not growing ever since it spourted out the soil , Can anyone help me and tell me why it's not growing ? Picture below

i would say that it is root bound definatly as i cant see any trace of soil there...as i guess it started in soil and was planted in that pot. for a non pruned plant as big as that. it deffinatly be in a pot 3 times the size!!..

I'm sure that the plants not root bound. I have a question which plant are you talking about the older one or the smaller one? What do you mean I dont have enough soil I am using Scotts seed starting.

latest update on the plant.
leafs still lightning up,not so much sign of stems going purple.
buds are now appearing on the tips.
still not taking feed as it shud.im thinking the plant is just living of the moisture allready in the plant.
but then again,the buds are growing,so it must be taking a little feed.

i think this post has been hijacked, im out...

YO! When I say the roots I about died chokin' on some smoke. That is 100% rootbound. When you plant it in somethin' more sizable, as large as possible, take a knife or some shears and lightly break up some roots all around the rootball, cutting down parallel with the plant, not horizontal. This will allow the roots to regrow and spread out. But like I said, fo' sho' rootbound.

i have repotted in a bigger pot,its been a week now .the roots are growing through the holes in the pot again,but still no sign of leafs getting darker.they are now almost yellow.should these leafs begin to take feed & will they go green again.or just die off & new 1s appear.

if may also be worth cutting some of the most yellowish and any damaged leaves off, to focus the nuets in to the heads and not forming new branches/leaves which in end will be a slower grow and shitty buds.. the stage your plant is at now you dont want new leaves really and could afford to sacrifice some bottom leaves..... and maybe even take some cuttings for your next grow which will help the plant concentrate on the buds..
i call it the highway theory...... a branch is like a highway going up to the head (buds) if you have all these other branches for the feed to choose and travel along (like a woman givin directions) (sorry ladies) (well my old girlfriend anyway) it will take a shit load longer to get to the head.... and yes you will get more heads in the long run but your roots will not be able to cope with the new branches/leaves cuz they are strangling each other and by time the neuts get to the head the fucking pub is closed ........ this is bad!!

or you could just see how it goes...

keep us posted. I feel bad that I never thought of her being rootbound when I earlier discussed the lime with you but as soon as i saw the pot she was in I knew, then as I read found out you have changed her. Good. it might take a bit to recover, but she should.. post more pics as you can..

re potting seems to have cured the prob.
i am now in the process of taking the yellow leaves & some of the shading leafs off.i will post a pic in the next few days.
the plant is now taking feed again,hopefully when all the leafs that needed to be taken off are off.feed will be straight to the bud.

iv cut the mouldy parts off 7 now just have to wait again.

heres the latest pics.buds not filling out much,so im going to leaver it for a week or 2.
i cut a little off & dried it.
it works great.im sat here after smoking just 1 joint & i had the ,dizzy spells & a wobbly stomach.

heres the buds all chopped off & hanging to dry.
iv allready smoked some & its a good high smoke.
it took me about 1hr & 30 mins to finish 1 off & was on a dizzy spell after a few tokes.

i would expect half the reason your last plant was yellow at the bottom was because you had it sat in so much water, i dont know tho, just seems likely
