Any clean, air-tight glass jar and lid.
and keep in mind jar curing is only sensible for small amounts. if you have a large pile of buds you might find tupperware-type containers work better. but they are not for storing...only curing. for storage, glass is best.
also, i don't keep the lid on tight during 'closed times' or else it'll take forever to finish. i open the lid a couple times/day to air them out and give em a turn then cover...not tight just covered with the lid. it all depends on ambient humidty so i suggest watching them closely for the 1st couple days and if they're not drying out noticieably after a couple days, adjust the lid.
Heh, glad to hear any good jars work. WalMart sells these nice-sized jars of dill pickles for like $2.88. I'd buy the jar alone for just that, but hey, if they wanna give me a bunch of pickles too, who am I to complain. Started saving those up. Glad I like pickles! ;)
keeping the vessel in the dark is the "key" to your query, peace...
p.s. if you have the budget...colored, such as brown jars are great and I believe that is what they were designed for...stifling light jsut kidding
hey LW, where/ how you been man? I posted somthing awhile back, not sure if you saw it...

thnx every 1:stoned:
clean fruit jars are best unless you want to spend a lot of time soaking and cleaning out food jars such as pickles and spaghetti sauce. the jars can retain the 'flavor' of the food if not well cleaned and will transfer to your flowers. pickle flavored buds are nasty too...
a case of fruit jars is cheap enough anyway and the jars are good for all sorts of uses...i recommend buying a box of new jars.
good point m.g.
by the way...stash problem resolved...peace
I thought, I was the only fool that did that?Quote:

I wouldn't use plastic as it will leave it with that plastic taste and smell. And yes any air tight clean jar and lid. Dont pack the buds in to tight you want air to circulate easily so mold will not be a problem. And darkness is key.
Yeah, you can get a case of 12 quart jars at nearly any grocery store for less than $10. That's less than a dollar per jar. And it holds 12 quarts. If you can't afford that you need to think less about weed and more about getting a job.Quote:
