Nero, latest one, find it with a torrent
Nero is a good multi-purpose program. I recommend you some how get that :p.
iTunes if you want to burn an audio CD
Or just click and drag to burn a data CD
Yup nero al the way.
I've tried a few and messed up a few disks. Then I found NERO and every disk worked.
is nero a big ass file?
just looked at my downloaded file and its 32.9MbQuote:

strange but probably true because I downloaded it a while back.. but I'm sure that contains a lot of programs that are not required for just burning.. like a media player etc. I only use the burning part.. I've never ventured into any other of the applications.Quote:

man you guys go the hard way about this.......
go download right from the nero site the full version trial then go find yourself a cd key at a torrent site
That would work, 'cept he wants a small install file. Not to mention serials and cracks for newer versions are harder to come by and serching for cracks can lead to evil web sites with virus and spyware issues. Just nab the torrent, install and apply crack/serial. 5-10 mins tops on a decent connection and you're done.Quote:

Yea, it's used to emulate a cd/dvd drive by mounting disk images. Handy for getting around disk checks in some games.Quote:

Yeah this is a good program, only thing you gota watch is trying to play games that go out of their way to prevent you from playing them without a licensed copy, crazy shit will happen. Otherwise you download a game you like, usually the ISO file represents disc One,Two,Three e.t.c and run like you would a real cd. I played most of the Sims games like this, works like a charm.Quote:

The reason I ask is that most software does suddenly start burning coasters out of the blue. It is quite possible that the laser is misaligned or the head needs to be cleaned. If you try additional software (and I +1 Nero...good stuff) and you still have the same problem. First try to burn a CD/DVD at the lowest speed. If that is unsuccesful, get one of those cleaning kits (Rat Shack) to clean the head and try again to burn at the slowest speed. If that still doesn't work, your problem is either your drive or your media. You can try using a different brand of CDR/DVDR but usually, it'll be the drive itself.
i'm trying to play a copyed game. i think i got a screwed up download coz i can't open it, when i 'mount an image' it say 'please wait' but does nothing. i might have to redownload a new copy.Quote:

Try to open the image in a program like winrar. see if you can extract the data to a folder. if not, then you prolly have a corrupt download. If it extracts, then I dunno. It may be a dameon tools issue. Alchohol 120 works in the same fasion. Another download couldn't hurt.Quote:
