shitty fucking dealers

i used to have the best dealer ever and got mad hook ups with dank weed, than he got set up in a coke deal nd that was the end of that.

now theres this one fucking piece of shit that we suspect has been skimping my friends and i, but it looked big cause it was fluffy. so we decided to be assholes nd pull out the scale for 30 bucks he gives us a .7 my friend argues nd gets the guy to make it 1.2

now this other guy is cool as hell but his weed is pretty shitty its can be anywhere between low-high mids but never dank.

between these 2 problems i have spent way too much money (quality doesnt determine price in my area)

im pretty pissed nd my parents are getting suspicous of where all my money (close to $100 a week) is going, so i think im jus gunna stop for a while what do u guys think?

brother, it sounds like you need to experience the wonderful world of growing your own pot. nothing beats harvesting a single plant that grows 1 pound of bud!!!

Try buying larger bags from him. If I were to buy an ounce worth of weed, buying it in 1/8's all the time, it would cost me $330. :eek: I buy an ounce at once, it costs me only $200.

If you are buying grams for $15 each, and you equal up an 1/8 (3.5grams) by buying grams, it costs you $50. If you were to just an 1/8 though, it should only cost you $35-$40.

Buying in bulk saves you money. Buying by the gram, there's a good chance it will not be weighed up, and it will cost you big money in the long run.

It always works out that way. But my god Canada has cheap weed prices. You realize here in New York City you can't even get a gram for $20. Its usually only going to be around a 3/4 gram because prices are so high they have to compensate. eek at $330? Thats like an average price around here for good bud. :rasta:

Yeah, I know. US prices are through the roof. I guess a lot of times, I can see where people are coming from. Some people can only afford buying g's at once because of silly prices, but I was just saying, you know. Giving advice the best way to buy as buying in singles all the time, can cost you even more than you're already paying.

You should try looking for a new hookup if you feel you're getting short changed. I have met a lot of dealers, and I know that some of them get annoyed when you visit them twice a week buying smaller amounts, so that's why a lot of people get short changed.

Buy more, you'll get more, and they will appreciate it.

Or just grow your own stash. Nothing better than puffing on some homegrown. I feel like a proud father everytime harvest time comes around. :p

ok, well judging by the fact his parents are angry at him for spending so much money.. i really think any growing would be out of the question. my advice, get a better hookup.. or make him weigh it out for you.

its hard to buy in large amounts cause when 50 goes missing on pay day my parents wud freak out if they were to find out. plus i only make 100ish a week nd spend it all practically on weed even when i buy in bulk... but an 1/8 still isnt really bulk i shud save up nd buy half ounces every 2 weeks especially since school is coming soon i wont even have the time to smoke cept b4 bed nd weekends

And.. why exactly do your parents know what's going on with your bank accounts? I'd get another job, maybe at your school or something, and tell your parents that you've joined some club or another, and then you can still work and get payed and open up a different account so that your parents will have no idea. And there's always the added comfort that your school is paying for your marijuana, and any other smoking devices that you may pick up. :D

i dont even put money in the bank i spend it all... after summer tho im going to open my own account my mom has even suggested it to me, i said id start saving when school starts cause thats when i get my license nyway i already have a car so yea..

nd im splitting a half with my friend this weekend for 110 so like 55 each nd the weed is off the hook im so happy cause i smoke about a gram a day so i cud jus do that from now on

been there many times. thats cool that u brought out the scale on his ass. if ur spending that much in a week then just slow down for a while till u get some more cash. but if u were getting good shit u wouldnt need to spend that much. u should try to get another hook up. thats really all u can do unless u want to grow it.

take a couple weeks or so and save small amounts of money and then buy one large amount. i used to buy a bag a week for $60 but i've started buying in larger quantities so 1) i don't have to buy as often and 2) i save money in the long run.

how the hell does someone only sell in grams and quarters? thats going from 1 gram to 7 grams with nothing in between, wtf?

the one guy i used to buy from only sells $60 for 1/8th. i got a quarter from him once and was expecting it to be $110 or so and he was like "$120" and i was kind of pissed, but paid it anyways. i usually only buy from him when i need a quick hookup, otherwise i drive an hour to buy a larger amount from a friend of mine.

I so hate it when everyone's answer to these kinda questions are simply: "just grow your own pot idiot" clearly after the dude implies that he has strict weed hatin' parents.

Wow, grow pot, how fuckin logical, like his parents won't notice from smell alone. Weed plants look mad funky too. Too obvious.

And werd, ny prices are insane. I get about 2 grams of high mids-highs for 30 dollars from my dude. I think spending 100 a week is pretty insane in the first place though. I'm quite happy enough smoking just 2 grams a week. I just have a one-three hitter quitter a day and I'm good. Lasts for a week. 2 weeks if i don't waste it in a joint/blunt/firecracker.

Don't call him more than twice dude. If he doesn't answer his phone he's dry or doesn't feel like "working" at the time. He isn't just your dealer, he's got a life outside of it too.

first of all he said he'd hook me up. i'm entitled to call him. if he's dry, he can first of all not tell me that hes gonna sell to me that day, and second of all pick up his god damn phone and just tell me he's dry. i would not be mad, rather i'd be happy he was polite enough to answer and tell me he can't do it that day.

if anyones being inconsiderate it's not me. he leaves me hangin thinking that he's gonna call me and he doesn't.

good dealers pick up their phone no matter what and tell you if they can or can't sell that day. it's that simple.

Yeh, I think the best thing to do, if you can deal with it... is to just take a break for a while. I've had to do it before because of lack of availability. It would ocassionally get very dry in the area, and it seems the only people that would have some would be some moldy trash from south of the border. This shit would be compressed as hard as plastic. We would always call it crack weed cause it was as hard as a rock.


This is why I'm glad I live where I live know.


And the next time I move... I'm making sure I have living quarters that would easily house a garden.

Where do you live?

I take it from your posts that you live in an area where pot is barely smoked. Which is unfortunate. In my town, if you need a bag you know about a dozen people that could possibly be good for it at any given time, and all it takes is a phone call.. but the catch to the availability is higher prices, so in some ways I guess its fortunate to live in lower pot smoking areas so you don't spend as much. But rough at other times. I couldn't imagine having a struggle finding bud around here, its great. :pimp:

I'm telling you that from the dealers perspective, you are simply BUSTING HIS BALLS, which is really the worst thing ever. If he has community service like he says he does, well then maybe he does and it leads to complications getting rides there and back, and things that come up. Its not as easy for the other side as many of you think.

All I know, is that there are no dealers here that sell grams. 1/8's and up ,and even bothering them for that is a pain in the ass. A lot of dealers just don't want to be bothered selling little pieces of pot for $20. That's left to high school kids who need a little extra cash, but a lot of dealers make their living off selling, and selling $20 a couple times a day is not enough to live off of.

They ignore you because they don't want to be bothered leaving the house, and becoming a heat score for a small $20. If they're going to take the risk, they want to make sure it pays off.

They appreciate big sales. I don't mean pounds, but try buying a half ounce from them for a little while, then maybe they won't be hesitant by getting busted over $20 worth of pot.

I'm not trying to offend you, but I used to deal with people just like this. They don't want people calling them twice a day, like, 3 or 4 times a week, for small amounts. They risk their ass big time, and it's just not worth it over small amounts.

You're wrong there though.. You can certainly make a TON of money selling $20 bags... if you buy an ounce at $300 (average bud around here, usually the mid-ish quality nyc diesel) you can sell a gram a bag at $20 each and make $560. Sell 0.9 grams a bag and make $620.. Thats doubling your money. And like you are even saying, its much less likely to get busted over a 20 bag than it is when ounces are moving hands.

Thats done for a living around here. True, its more of the younger crowd but I know people making livings off this type of thing since they were in high school. Thats a $300 profit per ounce, basically doubling your amount of money you initially spent simply by bagging up some bud. In a highly populated area in where everyone smokes pot, its not hard to flip an ounce per day or two like that if its good bud and you know the right people.

Those who smoke more then just occasionaly obviously either don't do that method, and they are usually the ones supplying it and smoking from their profits or buying small (1/8 - 1/4) to moderate (1/2 - 1 oz) amounts of bud. There are plenty of people who only smoke to an occasional point where buying large amounts isn't even that practical and you of course have to know the right people, since not everyone sells more than just individual bags. Connections are everything too though.
