...isn't that gross? My folks are visiting and mom just downed a bottle of Chianti in about an hour. She spilled the last glass all over the counter, red wine too! :( and now that that bottle is finished, she's moved onto drinking Captain Morgan.
I came up here just to get away from her talking. :p Plus my pizza won't be done for another 15minutes.

That was me back in the day. My parents used to drink like fishes. My step dad would drink a case of Meister-Brau (BLECH!!) and my mother would drink SOuthern COmfort and Coke. To this day, I still haven't had anything with Southern Comfort.
But luckily, my mother stopped drinking years ago. Sometimes though, I wish she'd start again...she was more quiet and less annoying back then.
Damn, yo mom is a pro :p. Anyways I dont worry about my mom drinkin, but I do worry the fuck out of my mom picking me up high. Last time she picked me up high we were half way to our destination and she turned back around because she forgot her shades at the house lol! Man it was so crazy. We were on our way to pick up my sister, for some reason somethin told me to remind my mom what we were doin and she was like "oh.." xD. If I didnt remind her she would've passed the street my sister was on but I dunno where the hell we would have went hahah.

Alcoholic parents are a nightmare. I'm fairly certain that it will be the booze that kills my poppa, even though he tried to do it himself in April, so even more of a reason for him NOT to be drinking now, yet he is. *sighs* He actually borrowed $70 from me for "gas" but I recently found out I funded his beer for the weekend. It just tears me up inside that he's only making his depression worse, but there's not much I can do at this point. He's a seasoned drinker, and will remain one until his liver keils out on him.
My dad use to be a real bad alcoholic, and i remember him sitting in my basement for hours drinking beer outta the keg nozzle and watching football.He started goin to AA meetings and now he has been sobre for almost 10 years, but he has leukemia and alot of other things wrong with him that he blames on his years of drinking.
I just got back from CostCo, and some lady had like 20 fuckin bottles of wine.. I was like DAMN!

I kno i am very suseptable to becoming an alcoholic so i try to stay away from drinking as much as possible, but i do it occasionally when theres no reefer around.
Everyone on my dads side are avid drinkers, which means i am very easily drawn into the alchoholic " family trait " along with itsaplant; my dad will remain a 24 Pack every 2 days Drinker, and drink untill his liver keils out on him..
so i try and stay away. Alchoholics are deushes...

Well, mom has a good headache this morning. I don't know what time she stayed up boozing until, but I came up this morning and talked in a loud voice, "hey mom! How's IT GOING?!" :D She cringed. :p

I pretty much lived in a frat house from the ages of 7-13. Beer was ALWAYS in full supply (1 keg every week), my step-dad's friends were always over, and they were always drunk (same with my mom). My mom didn't know how to cook, so when she made dinner it was Mac N' Cheese and shit like that.
My mom started drinking heavily after my sister was born. She would just totally zone out of reality. I would look in the garbage before I left for school, and then check it when I came back. There were literally 16/24 cans everyday. When she bought alcohol, she started titling it "miscellaneous" in her checkbook so my step-dad wouldn't get mad at her. She's stupid because he found out anyway from the checking statements.
Eventually, when I was in 8th grade, she told me she was going to AA. Now she's fine and just smokes pot with me because we both agree that AA shouldn't be against pot because it's an all natural plant.
Oh the joys of alcohol. One day your mom will realize what she's doing. I NEVER in my life thought that my mom would stop. I was in fucking shock when she told me. It was a miracle.
Ya my mom told my dad if he didnt stop she was gonna leave him, thats why he started goin to AA.
