Whenever I talk on the phone with my better half (although she hardly ever smoke anymore, she is the one that got me smoking, over 25 years ago), I always refer to smoking a joint as "having a spicy roll", because 1: pot is a weed much like herbs such as sage, rosemary, thyme, etc, which I all grow in my backyard. 2: it gives kind of a reference to the "sping rolls" of vietnamese cuisine, and 3: I like the sound of it!
