Apparently there is a show on Showtime called Weeds entering it's 2nd season. A comdy about this middle aged suburban mom that sells pot on the side. Never heard about this show until today has anyone seen it?

There have been tons of other threads... I watched every episode as they aired and I've been waiting 3/4th of a year for the 2nd season to start.. I CAN"T WAIT

I heard about that show but when it was called "Weeds" I didnt think it actually had anything to do with marijuana lol.
i watched the whole first season, it's allright as a tv show, kind of cool, but its all the bud you get to see that makes you want to watch it

its a really good show, been watching it since the 1st season. Its got a decent plot, but almost everyone on the show tokes (including the twon's mayor or some shit) so its pretty entertaining
it starts monday. its a good show. i watched the first show on demand when i would come home from school on the weekends. the first season might still be there. it'd be worth checking before you watch the new ones.

This is a good show. It keeps you clinging from show to show, to find out if she makes it through the hurldles she encounters while becoming an established drug dealer in suburbia. She has to surrender things like her SUV and wedding ring just to pay for her weekly supply. She comes up against competition from the California medical marijuana shops, and starts baking to stand out for her customers.
It's not just about some suburban widow sitting around smoking weed all day, in fact, I don't think she's ever was shown smoking through the first season. It doesn't seem 'too' fake, but there are a couple times you might spot something that looks exaggerated or wrong every now and then. The characters are funny and interesting. Season 2 is supposed to start off with her finding out that the guy she just started sleeping with is a DEA agent.
It's tough to say too much, without giving away punchlines or suspenseful moments if you do decide to start watching it. If you have Showtime, it's worth watching. If not, Season 1 is out on DVD. It used to be around $30, but it may have gone up by now. You can also catch single episodes off of iTunes for $2/show.
