Hallo.
I was wondering.
If I used e.g. Fox Farm Ocean Forest Organic Potting Soil
would I need to use ferts for veg?
And if I need veg + flowering ferts, could I use normal ferts they would give me at a hydro shop/local garden centre?

Of course you always have to constantly feed your plants food. If they are in a pot eventually in their life they are gonna use up all the nutes in the pot and your gonna have to replinish them. I'm not sure about your second question though, I dont quite understand it.
2nd question :
Ferts from a hydro shop or a garden centre is ok?
he means the nutes that his shop carrys are not made by foxfarms will they be ok to use and yes they will.
12-0-0 for veg
20-20-20 for flower

Basicly it means this :
Will ferts from an ordinary garden centre or hydro shop labled VEGITATION or FLOWERING work ok for my upcomming plants?
I use 20-20-20 for veg and 5-50-17 for flowering. Both are
Peters brand 1/4 a teaspoon to a galon.
ok.. so would 20-20-20 and 5-50-17 be in nearly all ferts i cn buy in a hydro shop?

I really don't trust those hydro shops my self.
Especially the ones that set up near or in a
headshop.
But hey lots of people use them with no problem.
It's just a personal thing for me I guess.
