How desperate have you ever been for a buzz?

I was just curious as to how desperate you guys have ever been for weed or for a good high when practically dry.

I've gone looking on the carpet for buds and shake we may have dropped. Believe it or not, I've found a lot this way before and managed to get enough for a good high from it.

I've also went to the point of scraping resin out of my bowls and pipes, wiping it onto a sheet of joint paper, and smoking the paper out of the bowl. Not very effective, as you can imagine lol.

Anyways, share your desperate stories and such here.

I've done that too.

Also, one time I was able to get a whole bowlpack by prying all the keys out of my keyboard and going through all the fuzz with a pair of tweezers to pick out any weed crumbs that had fallen between the keys.

I, sadly, resort to alcohol. And lots of it. Or I'll call every single person in my contacts who smokes and see if they feel like hanging out (read: smoking me out).

They smoke my weed all the time, so usually it's all good.

But there really isn't (shouldn't be?) a problem with going a few days without bud...I think it's healthy to take a break occasionally. Unless you really are a fiend. I like taking a few days off, lowering tolerance, etc etc.

I tried to smoke stems once, but the taste was so awful that I nearly vomited. I never did that again. Okay, maybe one time, but the same thing happened and I never did it since then.

Seriously? They seem to have a sweet taste to me when smoked (I've tried this as well without a successful high lol).

i've done everything you mentioned

and I've done dxm when I need a buzz

however those times have changed

I never have time to smoke now so I only smoke at night

haven't had a problem lately

i was so desperate once because i was dry i couldnt sleep
so at 3am, my hookup finally decides that he's ready to bring me some, i leave the house, sneaking out to go get some.
i finally got some sleep that night.

yeah they dont taste too pretty smoking em, but i like chewing on stems of kb and such. not mids.

i just smoke all the resin in those situations, its a little gross, but it gets you high, good thing it's rare

Me too, I love resin. If I'm out of weed, I'll go straight for the paper clip box. The taste of resin is heavenly, and it gives you a nice body buzz.

Back in the day I used to go for the weed 'pickins' in my carpet and shit. Horrible. Nowadays it's all sucked up into the vaccum cleaner every week...and I ain't diggin through there!!

Usualy the first night I quit smoking is the night I'm jonesing bad. I just have a couple of drinks. After that night, the feeling only comes every once in a while and it's not that strong so I don't even bother drinking or copping for a buzz.

Begged my friend for hours to lend me a joint coz i would have money tomorow for weed and he had a 1/4 and still said no tight bastard

went through my ashtray smoking the rest of my joints which had about 1 toke left got me stoned for about 30mins better than nothing! lol

Normally you don't get high from smoking stems. If you wanted to, you would have to smoke a good 5-6 big bowls before you felt any kind of effect. They only contain trace amounts of THC in them.

Seems like I'm the only one who enjoys the taste of stem smoke.. lol.

Damn thats shitty, Id smoke you up (if I had Herb lol). Never really been desperate... had one time where in the middle of the afternoon I quick-dried some Lowryder to have a smoke. Parents had gone away for the weekend, and it was only a week until harvest, so I thought why not? Tasted really green and planty, but got me high for a few hours.
Thats about the only time Ive ever been 'desperate' for a high/buzz.

LOL. Well, I think it'd have to come to the down and dirty where I actually went to all my smoke spots in my house and picked up burnt buds that some how ended up being there when I put my joint or blunt out and smokin those. Or goin in my old bags and getting all the little crumbs and rolling up a comp paper joint xD.

I haven't lived in CT long and had to find a connection. Desparate I asked a stranger who worked at a bagel shop. Could only get a bunch of sm dime bags, after a few months he moved. Then I asked the guy pumpimg my gas, who can hook me up occaisinally. Still no good connection.

Last night went to a full moon drumming circle hoping to meet some hippies or other users. It was older women using the drumming as a healing thing. Didn't heal me just made my migraine worse.

Two days ago I was in so much pain (migraine) could'nt get out of bed. Damn desperate. Finally talked the gas guy into givin' me a J.
