First off I want to say I love god and I believe in god
Religion is a joke and a waste of time all religion is a bunch of misinterpreted bull and misinformation all religious text states the same thing over and over again it all comes down to god is supreme mind and creator karma will kick your ass if it has to and the deserving and faithful will be rewarded.
I assure you all that god doesnâ??t care about any church or any so called holy writings and who the hell in their right mind could stop and think seriously does a great and all knowing being really care about us worshiping him we must realize that we are all nothing more then grains of dust to him. All god cares about is that we try to become better then we are by being better people.
God is so vast and infinite that we can never truly know god and also what makes any one arrogant enough to think that they now the true wants or words of a supreme being.
God is so magnificent that her great wisdom could never be contained in mere human words and his mind is so incredible that no feeble human intellect could possibly comprehend it.

whats wrong in wondering I just think its dumb to think you could be 100% right.

There is no certainty to yours, which makes their's just as relevant.
And then calling them arrogant...

organized religion can get pretty retarded, especially when you throw traditionalism and closed mindedness in the mix. but it works for people, some who are transcendent and social find that worshipping god with others helps themselves feel better. it also helps develop moralities for those "good vs evil" people who arent intelligent enough to develop their own sense of morality.
however, youll often find that those devout religious followers often have rather 'sinful' immoral motivations. those who believe theyre always right for instance, like you mentioned, arrogant people. theyll get into religion and possibly clerical duty in order to feed their own insecurities and gain a sense of "im right gods on my side your evil, sinful, and possibly going to hell"

You all know that posting on the internet is a sure fire ride to hell yes?

I dont know what kind of a fetish people have for monotheism. Sure, its very neat and nice pick all the glorious theories to believe in, in which case you will be surrounded by eternal white light when you die, and that everything about afterlife is so goddamn positive, and that its permanent. Also, i dont know why everyone thinks life has a "meaning". Sure, its logical for existance to be continual, yes, but what the fuck implies that life has a meaning? It may mean something to you or me, but i dont think there is a divine reasoning behind existance. And even if so, what do you need the meaning for?

I think the point was that nobody has any of the answers, and if they do, they could be wrong or right. It's a 50/50 chance.

Beside that I often refer to God as male and female in the same sentance as many people do. Considering of course that I dont know what I'm talking about, as no one does, when it comes to God. But for some reason we like to talk about it/him/her anyway.

As an individual, you gained a small understanding of God sometime after you were born. How did you gain this understanding? Someone had to tell you. Someone had to say that God exists in some form or another. So where DOES God exist? The only place that you can be sure God exists is in your own mind. And in my opinion, that is the only place that counts. If I believed in the ALMIGHTY LASER-SHOOTING TURTLE TANK OF DOOM and I believed that it wanted me to do good with my life, isnt that enough? If the ALMIGHTY LASER-SHOOTING TURTLE TANK OF DOOM made me happy, isnt that enough? Why should you ask someone else to believe in your religion? Or to not believe in some other religion? Believing that God has no plan is wonderful. Believing that his plan is secret is also wonderful. I guess I did assume someone would have something better to do than call themselves a hypocrite. But if that was the entire point of your post...

I was mearly pointing out that everyone that says thier right is in thier own right the onion and hamlet put it best by saying something along the lines in its just up to point of view and choice belive in what u want I was just pointing out the fact is no one can be sure or right about what thier doing.
I dont feel my word is perfect or the absolute truth I derive all my percpectives from science and logic and I do my best not to impose my biest or preconcived notions on them because I belive I have no right to assume anything about god or his position on good and evil. I think that its arrogent of people to think they do and to impose thier ideas on others is arrogent.

Still, i would like to hear it. Why monotheism? Why is god such a standard? And so it seems that i have to answer my own question with my own theories...
1. Because judeo-christianity has depraved our culture, and is having a massive influence on peoples views on religious and non-religious things. This is a bad thing, and something must be done.
2. Peope choose theories that support the most positive possibilities and goodness, for therapeutic reasons. They choose to believe that everything just happens to be as awesome as they believe it is, and that the whole existance of the universe is based on one personality who is completely on YOUR side, and everyone elses, and that finally everything will be really really sweet and wonderful. They do this to increase the feeling of safety, yet seldom realize what it does to their ability to rationally judge things. The result at this moment: global warming. "Religion is the opiate of the masses", and people are abusing this opiate very effectively.

Also, i would like to add a brief explanation as to how number 1 has come true, and what caused this:
Monotheism, especially christianity, includes good ingredients for byrocrisy. Christianity is more a business than religion. "If you unbelieve, we kill you. If you unbelieve and you die, you go to hell. We are justified to torture you to death, because we are only doing a noble deed and lessening your afterlife torment. If you dont obey us, you go to hell, and the most powerfull being in the universe, that actually created the universe, says you must obey us, and if you dont, you go to hell. You must pay money to us, or you go to hell. Do everything we tell you and when you die, your afterlife will be awesome. Do something bad and you will be tormented in the afterlife. If youre skeptical of anything we say, you will be tormented in the afterlife..." etc etc...

Proof: Christianity, judaism and islam have the most disciples in the world, and they are all monotheistic, and they are all dictatorish. The most illogical religions are the most successful ones, because they do as every skilled byrocrate: give and take at the same time.

Im not a monotheist Im a Hermetic alchemist I belive in energy science and logic I think all religions are wrong and I laugh at most of the works of so called alchemist and if anyone say a word to me about that dumb shit show on cartoon network your words are null to me
