I am from switzerland and I speak generaly swiss german
So my english isn`t good but I hope you anderstand me...
how many of you do usual mix the weed with tabacco?
here in switzerland almost everyone does and I now in germany also...

I do, it just seems to make my joints burn better, and my weed lasts longer.
I noticed a lot of Americans looked at me funny in Amsterdam when I first rolled a joint (with tobacco)
A texan woman at the same table leaned over to a friend and said "Don't worry, he's European"
Cracked me up :)
After that (and because the weed was so good) I didn't bother with tobacco as one of my new found American friends introduced me to the wonders of the "Blunt" :)
I'm quitting tobacco now though so only the vaporizer, pure joints and bongs for me now.
and wath do you think about the medcinal risks?
The only time I mix tobacco with cannabis is if the tobacco is whole-leaf..a.k.a. blunt lol.
hey the tobacco does help the joint burn better but the health risks are worse, your getting tar from cannabis, and added tar form tobacco, and also tobacco is more addictive so ur running the risk of getting addicted to tobacco, so i usually use tobacco once in a while and then i don't smoke it for ages, but i say use a bong or a blunt they beat a joint any day.
Tobacco also contains a whole load of added crap to keep it moist etc
Plus the tobacco industry is all fucked up
if u want, u should get ur lighter and lay the tobacco on the table and just glide the flame across the tobacco, this makes it smoother to toke on, i don't know if it makes it healthier, but its better if you heat it up to get rid of the chemicals used to keep it moist.
It seems to be a eupoean thing, i used to as a kid, when i was smoking weed in feilds, but now i smoke it pure. But yes, alot of people do mix it in europe.

i know it helps it burn better, but i dont find that an excuse good enough to put those chemicals in your lungs, additive free tobacco might be a different story but i have yet to reseach it
a good percentage of people here in canada mix tobacco in their weed too. Maybe 7/8 weed, 1/8 tobacco. In most cases, its mixed in wet weed to help it burn better and more evenly..
i dont mix myself, dont like the taste of tobacco and my joints burn evenly without it
i smoked before i started on the weed so i mix it to help the J burn
I don't like it.
It gets you a more intense head high, but it only lasts for like 10 min.
I don't know about anyone else but when my head high stopped, it also killed my weed high too.
i never do, nor do any of my friends. alot of them smoke tobacco right after we smoke weed though.
i find it funny how weed smokers are so anti-tabacco, and alchohol as well for that matter. i find it a little hypocritical to think that tobacco is evil and weed is good and safe. i myself do enjoy a good cigar, but very rarely. once a month or less. never had any problems with addiction with tobacco, alchohol, caffeine, or anything else; that's different for every person
what sort of tobacco might be best if one was to mix? pipe tobacco comes to mind; i'm unsure where i'd procure full-leaf tobacco
^^^Yeah, i know we all love weed guys, but the fact is, its not %100 harmless. Smoking pretty much anything has some negative side effects. I'm not trying to defend tobacco as much as im trying to say that weed and tobacco aren't exactly night and day in terms of health consequences.

i like cloves and i love pot, but for some reason i cant stand cloves in pot. I guess i am just too much in love with the taste of bud.

I did it alot when I was younger because we couldn't afford to fill full blunts. It tastes like shit to me now, but we were smoking stress, so it didn't matter at the time. To each his own.
I'll mix weed with tobacco only in a hookah or with a blunt (via the leaf, inside is pure weed).
Of my friends who smoke, (Philadelphia, NJ, NYC areas), very few mix weed with tobacco and nobody uses a roach in their joint. I'm not saying its never done here, its just not the norm. Its interesting to see the different ways people smoke around the world.
I've never done that, or seen anybody do that. I don't see why anybody would want to smoke tobacco anyways. Weed burns just fine by itself, at least around here. I don't know why somebody would want to fuck up the flavor of weed with the crappy taste of tobacco.
i hate mixing my green with tobacco what a nasty taste.... i love a menthol after a bomb ass blunt tho.. :thumbsup: just adds to the high.... :)
Couldn't agree more. I can't stand the taste of nicotine/tobacco. Used to smoke cigars and hated the taste it left in my mouth.Quote:
