So, I was smoking out of an aluminum soda can, and then I got a sorta crazy idea that involved the cardboard cylinder in a paper towel roll.

yeah, too bad aluminum is so shitty for you but whatever. honestly your idea is good but heres what i would do. get a socket wrench head and stick it in a gift wrapping roll. they are like TP rolls but much longer. then you have a big ass steamroller style pipe to smoke out of. plus it's safe and won't give you alzheimer's like aluminum will

ATLEST make a hole in the tube and then push some tin foil into it and poke some holes, even though any aluminum/tin foil is bad for you
