salvia tomorrow hopefully, but some problems...

so tomorrow me and 3 of my buddies are picking up a gram of 10x salvia, not sure of the price cause its from a headshop a little far from here. we planned on doing it in my room since my parents would be at work. but one problem...my dad took the day off of work :eek: . so now we have no place inside to trip, so we are trying to think of a new place

questions:

1. will tripping at a construction site or in the woods be a bad idea? i dont like the sound of it but its our only option at this point unless we think of something else

2. will a gram of 10x get 4 of us tripping pretty hard?

if u do it rite then u should each be fine with .25 of 10x, i tend to accedently let some smoke out tho so i end up useing more

the first time i tried it, it was 20x and that was good made me hallucinte quite a bit

yeah im just worried about freaking out and having a bad trip with all the trees and leaves and all that shit...it might freak us out?

Well its better to do it in a house but it wont be bad trust me its only 10x

When you do anything more than that make sure its in a safe place in your house or a friends house

Try not to do it in total darkness make sure you have some light and you can see what is going on :)

ive done it in the woods on more than one occasion... then again none of my friends or myself have ever really truly unlocked the power of salvia... so i ccouldnt say how ud be in the woods fully tripping

ya.. i hve the misfortune of having to do it out of a pipe (a small spoon tbh) and its hard to hold:mad:

well if it doesnt work out for us during the day, we are going to sleep at my house and do it in my room. my parents will be downstairs all ngiht so we basically have the whole second floor to ourselves.

would you suggest turning out the lights and laying down and listening to music, or keeping lights on and just trying to talk and enjoy it? share your experiences

with the lights off i tend to get more into it... if u sit arnd in the light ull probably just laugh ur ass off as everything seems funny...

trust me you wont be able to "talk and enjoy it" at least not enjoy it in the way you're thinking.

you're gonna be OUT OF IT. in a brave new world. get some soft soothing music on. anything else is gonna sound terrible. i would recommend like a dim setting somewhere in between lights on and off. dim always gets me relaxed but everyones different.

yeah i know its not gonna be like a "cool/fun!" trip or anything like that

well its me, and 2 other friends now, one cant do anything anymore i dont think. if it somehow comes to all 4 of us, why shouldnt we do it at oncE? should we do like 2 at once, 2 sitters, then the sitters do it while the others sit?

lights off with Explosions In the Sky playing sounds pretty good to me...

the best way i can describe it is like a dream....

my only time with salvia gave me extremely strong feelings more than visuals.. but i do remember that my fingers were really wavy, looking as if they were growing, and my hand felt like it became a talon. then i had this image of myself as a bird flying in the wilderness... now i didn't see this, but i felt as if i could feel the wind on my beak. trust me, if you do this correctly, visuals will be the last of your concerns!!

edit: what i said above sounds really simple and boring, but i find it really hard to describe the feelings i got from salvia. what i said looks like i was just starin at my hands thinking i was a bird. it was so much more than that, but it doesnt come out right when i try to describe so the best i can say is that its an extremely prolific and fulfilling experience if you do it correctly, and if lady salvia is nice enough to give you a good trip :D

and i was fine, so im pretty sure this guy will be fine as long as the area is safe, as in no narks or sharp objects

I tried salvia 10X before mushrooms... you will be fine....
The visuals are like no other drug..... no patterns or anything... just complete distortion of your surroundings...and it feels like you get connected to whatever you look at.

I even experienced OBE's many times with salvia (only happend to me a few times w/ mushrooms, and ive done them many more times)

Salvia is pretty crazy when you get that first intense trip...

well good news, one of my friends parents had to leave for the day to attend to their sick horse, so we will have the house to ourselves until like 6.

we are going to mentally prepare ourselves before we trip, by listening to some relaxing music, getting comfortable with our surroundings, and clearing our mind of any bad/negative thoughts or worries.

i'm planning on taking maybe 2-3 hits of the 10x, does that sound about right?

Level -1 "S stands for SUBTLE effects." A feeling that something is happening, although it is difficulty to say just what. Relaxation and increased sensual appreciation may be noted. This mild level is useful for meditation and may facilitate sexual pleasure.
Level - 2 "A stands for ALTERED perception." Colours and textures are paid attention to. Appreciation of music may be enhanced. Space may appear of greater or lesser depth than is usual. But visions do not occur at this level. Thinking becomes less logical, and more playful; short term memory difficulties are may be noted.
Level - 3 "L stands for LIGHT visionary state." Closed eye visuals (clear imagery with eyes closed: fractal patterns, vine-like and geometric patterns, visions of objects and designs). The imagery is often two dimensional. If open eyed visual effects occur these are usually vague and fleeting. At this level phenomena similar to the hypnagogic phenomena that some people experience at sleep onset occur. At this level visions are experienced as eye candy but are not confused with reality.
Level - 4 "V stands for VIVID visionary state." Complex three dimensional realistic appearing scenes occur. Sometimes voices may be heard. With eyes open contact with consensual reality will not be entirely lost, but when you close your eyes you may forget about consensus reality and enter completely into a dreamlike scene. Shamanistic journeying to other lands, foreign or imaginary; encounters with beings, entities, spirits; or travels to other ages may occur. You may even live the life of another person. At this level you have entered the shamanâ??s world. Or if you prefer you are in dream time. With eyes closed you experience fantasies (dream like happenings, with a story line to them). So long as your eyes are closed you may believe they are really occurring. This differs from the eye candy closed eye imagery, of level 3.
Level - 5 "I stands for IMMATERIAL existence." At this level consciousness remains and some though processes are still lucid, but one becomes completely involved in inner experience and looses all contact with consensual reality. Individuality may be lost; one experiences merging with God/dess, mind, universal consciousness, or bizarre fusions with other objects real or imagined, e.g. merging with a wall may be experienced. At this level it is impossible to function in consensual reality, but unfortunately some people do not remain still but move around in this befuddled state. For this reason a sitter is essential to ensure the safety of someone voyaging to the inner levels. To the person experiencing this, the phenomenon may be terrifying or exceedingly pleasant; but to an outside observer the individual may appear confused or disoriented.
Level 6 - "A stands for AMNESIC effectsâ?� At this stage either consciousness is lost; or at least one is unable to later recall what one is experiencing. The individual may fall, or remain immobile or thrash around; somnambulistic behaviour may occur; injuries can be sustained without pain being felt; on awakening the individual will have no recollection of what he/she did, experienced or said in level 6. People cannot ever recall what they experience in this very deep trance state. This is not a sought after level as later nothing can be recalled of the experience.

If you hit level 4 (usually called "breaking through") then prepare to totally lose it in a 3d hallucination that may or may not use the enviornment you're in.

DO NOT DO IT IN A CONSTRUCTION SITE OR IN THE WOODS. A common hallucination is that the things around you begin to form walls and you begin to think you're trapped.

well, we bought 2 grams of 10x for $40, and used my friends bong to hit it. we packed small bowls for each of us and i had about 2 large hits from the bong. i didnt "forget everything" right after I exhaled, but i did start to feel very cool. my body felt like something was pushing down on it, towards the ground. i basically just felt really cool and laughed a lot.

we did it 5 people, not all at once but we passed it around. we had no bad trips, and only one person who really tripped and he told us what happened and it resembled to what you guys mentioned. another guy said he felt like he was like falling through his arms crossed over his legs. it was weird

i still have like .35 or so of what we have left of my gram. i want to try it again but smoke more of it.

so i say i was between a 1 and a 2 on the trip scale.

oh, then afterwards we packed 3 hugs bowls of weed mixed with clove black cigarettes. this stuff was amazing i took one huge hit (very harsh so i coughed and didnt clear it all unfortunately at first) and as i blew it out my whole body went numbish and i felt so euphoric and cool it was amazing. anyone ever try this, or try cloves in general?

cloves are good.

just a tip, you need to take ONE huge ass hit, one big one, and hold it in for at least 20 seconds. don't take a few small ones, theyll get you nowhere. take a long thick milky hit out of a bong WITH A TORCH LIGHTER and hold that shit IN. i guarentee you hit level 3-4!!!!

You can get the full potential out of like 0.1 as long as you do it right and don't do something stupid like roll it in a blunt or forget to hold your hits in really long.

Sounds like you should have tripped harder though. Although the subtle effects of Salvia are pretty nice too.

And from my experience, one huge hit is more effective than several smaller hits. Just rip it and hold it in for as long as possible. 30 seconds, which is probably a lot longer than you would expect if you werent keeping count.

Salvia is fuckin nuts!! I had smoked 10x before so bought some 15x with my bong the other day for my bday and holy SHIT did this stuff fuck me up!! AS I WAS TAKING THE HIT I started seein shit... these little star patterns on an ashtray started moving and the next thing I knew I was not THERE anymore.. and somehow my friend's bong ended up on me again and I was SO fucked up that I couldn't hold the bong, it was too heavy and it made my entire body start to sink and sag down towards the floor (which I thought in my state that I would fall through it) but I was too fucked up to tell my friends (who of course did not trip out) that I was sinking and having difficulty breathing... everything I could see in the room was dripping and distorted.. next thing I knew I was on the floor looking for something in my friend's room, probably a way out or some explanation for what was happening, then I was totally back to normal asking my friends what the fuck happened to me. It was NUTS.

The second time that night was after a few drinks at the bars, and this time I was completely removed from my friends and saw little creature-things dancing around.. it was crazy. Then right before I was back to normal the whole vision in front of my (my friends) was restored back to normal.

So do NOT do this shit in a place other than your home or a place you feel totally safe and comfortable... especially on anything above 10x for chrissakes.

My first time trying Salvia, I tried 5x after a nice high off of JuicyFruit was going smooth, and the first hit I took, I LAUGHED like there was no end. I was a lot more relaxed, no CEV or anything like that, but I'm going to try it on its own pretty soon. I only feel comfortable in my friend's apartment; he's rather experienced and is the type of person who can definately improve the high just by sitting there.
