I rushed pot on a friend, i wish i thought about it more.

Ok here's me, a total dumb ass and there is my friend. now my friend has been making sacastic jokes about pot for ages and we watched a stoner movie togeather, he laughed.

like we were watching futurerama and someone says "the kids stole on of your cigars" and Hermies says "that's not a cigar!.... and its not mine...."

my friends reaction was
"you don't know how many times i've had to use that line"

He made jokes like that a lot so naturally i thought he might have smoked. i asked him he sad no. so today i go to his house, with a $50 bag i left in my pocket from the night before. now im really nervious about it but i finally show him. he goes quiet for a second and starts looking at me funny, our conversation continues and he seems very uncomfortable and stiff. i go home and i feel like banging my head on the rock for ten minutes.

If these turn of events happened to you what would you say to him the next day at school. I'm not sure if i should just shut to fuck up or if i should actually say somthing, keep in mind i'm really fucking nervious about it.

what would you do?

I would act like nothing happened then wait till the following week and bring it up again. Show up to his house high or something so he knows you do it.

good advice, except for showing up high might not be a good idea.

i really dont see the big deal here....

who cares if he finds out you smoke dope...if he makes a joke out of it tell him to get fucked and he dont know what hes missin.

Oh come on now. The kid is over reacting. He's a prick anyway if he makes jokes about doing drugs and doesn't actually do them. Those kind of jokes are reserved for us drug users. :rasta:

You should have done what I did as a kid, grow your hair long and loose interest in everything, than people just assume it. :D :p

Hmm, the advice presented here kind of sucks hardcore. You have to [I]gently[I] introduce people to the ganj, you cannot force it on them [well you can, peer-pressure is a powerful tool if used right] . Almost all of us had to undergo some form of anti-drug brainwashing in our childhood and for a lot of people, it works. I remember that D.A.R.E. [anti-drug program that was taught in most American schools] had a pretty big effect on me. I probably would have been a good little narc if somebody had asked me. You just have to be really casual about it, if you make it seem like a big deal then it's going to be a big deal. Just be like, "I've always tried to live by the motto 'Try everything at least once'" or something along those lines. Try to gauge how your friend would like to be introduced - would he feel better in a small group, one-on-one or in a party situation. If he pretends to align with stoner culture then he probably shouldn't be too against the bud. I suggest, if you want to get him nicely high, try a gravity bong for his first time. Though, don't push it. If he gets too high his first time he might never want to smoke again. I guess the bottom line is: try to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Best of luck!

A big hit off a gravity bong from somebody who's never smoked before and is very nervous about it wouldn't be the very best idea.

If you want to introduce somebody to smoking, a simple joint is the easiest, less intimidating way. Just light it, take a few puffs and hand it to him. No need to show him how to light a bowl or how to inhale or all that crap, let him figure out how to smoke that joint, that's what I did. It might look like an afterschool special 'hey, you want to smoke this joint?'. But in a few minutes, you both will be laughing about it. Next time you go see him, instead of pulling a big bag and making yourself look like the biggest pothead in the world, pull out a joint or 2, and be casual about it, ask him if he wants to try it, if not, ask him if you could smoke one, and show him what it's like to be high. Once he sees your having all the fun say something like 'You sure you don't want to try it, I got another joint left, it's not nearly as bad for you as you would think.' Then add something like 'It's safer than cigarettes and alcohol, nobody has ever died or gotten lung cancer from smoking weed'. If he still doesn't buy it, then forget it, if he doesn't want to smoke, he doesn't want to smoke. At least he knows you smoke weed, hopefully, he won't stop trying to be your friend for something stupid like that.

Let your friend make his own choices. Pot should never get between frienships... ask him if he wants to smoke with you, if he doesn't let it go and if he ever does he knows who to come to.

Blah, joints are really harsh. I proposed the gravity bong for the first time because if you want to get HIGH on the first time, the gravity bong will definitely do you justice. It took me seven tries to get high for the first time. So maybe I'm being a bit...assertive. Use a bong/bubbler/vapo it will make the first time much more pleasant. And, yes, if he doesn't want to do it, don't force it.
