Why do so many people smoke out of things that could damage their health like foil, cans, and even plastic... like one kid I know as used A straw okay like what the hell, just go down to your local "Tobbaco" shop and buy one for 7 dollars, you only have to be sixteen and if your not that old then it's probley not A great idea to smoke anyway.;)
pop cans are usually attractive for novices or those living with parents because you just throw the whole thing out the window without caring. I did it when i was around 19 because i was lazy but after a few times i got headaches and bad tastes in my mouth. You just gotta learn that there's a better way, so spread the word when you see that kind of stuff man, everybody's gotta learn somehow! :)

i remember the can days
ridin down to the 7-11 to pick up a can (we would always get mug root beer it tasted the best) drank it up poked that shit up and then blaze through it.
yeah now i smoke blunts n bongs no more of that shit but those were the days
ah yes, the crushed pop can. I used that for about a month in 8th grade, my first month of smoking. They're attractive because people have a lot of them around the house, they're as easy and pushing in a dent and cutting some wholes, so like anyone can do it. Much easier than constructing a bong out of a gatorade bottle and shit.
dude really i smoked out of a gatorade mini all stars bottle bong... hit sooooo goooood... i have a stem and a bowl with a rubber sealing thingy and you just have ti make a hole thats roughly the size of it, and it will be airtight :D
and if you make the hole too small it still squeezes in.
but i rarely use bongs... i use my glass spoon the most.. its so cute and fun to use...

hell yeah man, I remember the times when we'd be tokin on a can, or aluminum foil. the dumbest shit we did though was smoke out of a copper pipe. THAT was fuckin retarded. But I wanna smoke a can sometime again, just to bring back early memories.

never used a can in my life, i use my bong "the green machine" it gets me through those rough days, i dont see the point in cans, if ur gonna smoke out of something, just make a bong out of a bottle, its much healthier thn a can
Pop cans are pretty handy for those in the military who live in the barracks. Although, we had an inspection once and when they moved my duffel bag, a used pop can that I'd forgotten about fell off my locker. My roomie saw that I'd smoked with it, and calmly picked it up and threw it in the trash, so I didn't get busted.
Sometimes ya just gotta make do with what's available, and nobody keeps pipes or bongs or papers when they're living on base; that's just asking to go break rocks for a few years.
Instead of smoking out of pop cans and tin foil; if you smoke cigs take the tobacco out of a cigarette, carefuly, and use the paper to roil a joint. Just cut off a filter first, then push the tobacco out with a paper clip or something similiar.
As for pipes...you can go to your local hardware store and buy pieces for making a pipe. They are usually in the 'plumbing' section of the store ;) Stay away from the copper pieces as thats almost as bad as tin foil, well thats my :twocents:
Or...you could always go to your local headshop and buy a pipe :D
Obviously people only use things like that when they don't have glass pieces. I don't know of anyone that smokes out of bottles with tin foil unless they are desperate.
But bottles can hit pretty hard.
I think the only reason we ever used cans and foil around here is because when you're under 18, it's not exactly easy to buy a piece. Those who were under 18 and had a pipe were lucky as hell, cause we used to make some retarded ass smoking utensils when we were younger.
Too bad they don't sell pipes to people under 18 at every shop :p

buy a trumpet mouth piece, and smoke out of that if you have to. dont use shit thats bad for you... i could make a nice bong out of a mouthpiece, silicone plaster, a metal tube (sold at ace hardware 90 cents) and a cylinder...

Everyone has got to have a local place that doesen't ID. Ask around, or just go yourself looking around and find one. Its good to have.
The low quality gas stations (not the major fancier looking ones like mobil, exon, sonico etc) are usually always good for that kind of thing.

Only a few tobacco places around where I live will sell pieces to people under 18 or without ID.. I had to use an apple for a long time before finally got a piece.
When I first started smoking, I would make the water bottle bongs, and foil pen pipes, it worked for me actually, and I couldn't even taste the foil.
