CONTACT (trippy as fuck, but make sure you got a lot of weed, cause it's long, and try not to get lost in it)
If you haven't seen the Saw movies, they're pretty nuts to watch, cause you can never figure out some of the riddles.
Frequency was pretty good. Bout a guy who traveled back in time to save his father. Kinda cool.
Pink Floyd's The Wall. really cool to watch when ur high.

seen both req and PI, requiem was a bit depressing and PI was really out there, but both of them were really good
memento has popped up a few times in the past few weeks, maybe ill get that. im pretty bored and its only 2 in the afternoon so i think im gonna rent 2, pick up a sack a weed, roll a few doobies and have a nice relaxing night.

Oldboy
A very smart well made revolutionary movie made in 2003 by Park Chan Wook:
It is about a man who is kidnapped and wakes up in what seems like a shady motel room but he is locked in there and never leaves the room for 15 years.
He doesn't know why, he doesn't know who, he doesn't know how.
He is released 15 years later and seeks revenge...
The film is genius and full of symbolism, elements, brilliant script writing and so on.
This will make you think yourself to death if you really want a thinking movie.
Tarantino cried himself to sleep when he saw this movie.
Hollywood wants to remake it and choose Justin Lin as the director (Better Luck Tomorrow) but he backed down because he respects Oldboy too much and now the remake project is no more.
If you want a move to make you think rent vanilla sky..
Stupid edit limit..
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364569/
(While punching\training on the wall in his prison) Daesu (narrarating): Who would've imprisoned me? Was it Yoo Heung Sam? Lee So Young or Kang Changsuk?
Whoever it was, just you wait... Wait a bit more... I'll rip your whole body apart.. and no one will be able to find your body anywhere.. because I'm gonna chew it all the fuck down..
Aw man, when my gf saw that scene with me, she gasped and covered her mouth with her hand.
The acting is so good.. god.. The main character's want for revenge is so strong and deep.
That was actually a remake of Abres Los Ojos, a Mexican film.Quote:

I'm getting stoned tonight and watching Fight Club for the first time. Heard it's good.
fight club is a fantastic movie but a better book
we only watched scenes of waking life in intro philosophy class this year, i liked what i saw though maybe ill watch the whole thing
behind enemy lines was a joke. Illogical action scenes pieced together with bad jokes. Average hollywood bullshit, entertaining I guess.Quote:

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is also amazing, even though the book is better.
And, I beg to differ. The Fight Club movie is better than the book. Even Chuck Palanhiuk (the author) said so. They tightened the plot, the three main characters were played with brilliant performances, picked the best music and locations. well that's enough stoned ranting from me
personally i just found a lot of the quotes from the book to breeze by me during the movie but really hit me hard in the book. so thats my reasoning
I love the book too
But there are so many hard hitting images in the movies. Every scene in the movies is perfectly crafted to convey the brilliant vision that Palanhuik has

Though I doubt any Blockbuster-type places would have it, I also recommend the follow-up movie to this, "Lady Vengeance" (part three of his "Vengeance" series).Quote:
