I was wrong about MySpace...

Well, I originally made a MySpace a while back because a friend of mines asked me to make an account so I broke down and did it. I was ashamed for a while and really didnt like MySpace and didnt want to seem like I was apart of the "MySpace" trend so I really didnt get on it. But now I realize that MySpace can be used for more than just "trend following". Theres some people thats so busy that instead of being left a e-mail you can leave them a message and they'll get back to you and they can have their picture on there (which you cant see over an e-mail unless it's attached and I barely ever opened attached e-mails now because of viruses) and friends so you can meet their friends. And also it's good for keeping in touch with people that you know. Unlike this city though, when I go some where almost everyone has MySpace and it's good for keeping in touch with them. I guess I was wrong about MySpace, it has some good purposes :).

I recommend everyone get it just incase, you never know.

Same here Orangman, I too made a bit of fun against my friend for his time spent on MySpace, but it is a great way to keep in touch with friends on a daily basis, although I still make fun of him due to the fact he practically lives on the site, but I have my page and usually check on it daily. I do see where you're coming from and it's human nature to go against something new.

I did just to see what it's like. Ever since I did, I have all these random people adding me as a 'friend'. Can't be bothered. If someone wants to get in touch with me that bad, they just shoot a message to MSN and I answer them from my phone.

Lame, I will never join just because you can make free web pages and blogs. Why go with myspace?

yeah, myspace isnt cool. of course having a facebook page and saying myspace is dumb is just hypocritical. they are basically the same thing with a different layout.

Got a myspace page but rarely use it. Crashes, the slow speeds kill me. I know how to get ahold of people I know and they know how to get ahold of me. I've noticed its great for school kids that want to keep in touch with thier buddies during summer. My 16 yr old sister couldn't live without.

Yeah, I think the same way. I just didnt realize how many people had it that I knew that moved away from this city. It's cool to stay in touch and I'm starting to add more people that I know personally that doesnt live in this city.
