Well the simple answer is "How big are the pots in diameter?". Then its just a matter of simple math. I have seen containers that were tall and skinny and ones that were short and fat (like me) - both the same volume...
Just put empty pots in the space until it's full. Figure on 4/5 feet tall. And you will need a block of ice to cool it all!Quote:

so there ya go...now start dividing numbers! or just do as most single pot growers do and figure your area for 1 plant/sq ft...
Shit, you have lots of light, so why not use 5-gallon pots and grow some big mamas? I used 2-gallon pots once, and the plants were relatively puny compared to the plants that grew out of 4-gallon pots -- half the size, maybe even a third the size. Large root mass = big plants = lotsa bud.
I'd try 12 big plants (4- or 5-gallon pots). If you're stuck on the smaller pots, then I'd try 18-ish and see how it goes, then adjust as necessary for next time.
I've been contemplating on 15 5 gallon or filling the space with the 2.5 gallon buckets. I just wanna get a fast massive yeild with out as much maintenance as hydro. Its crazy hot where my space is.
32 ....... :smokin: ... and lots and lots of fans ...... :D
Hey image reaper. Is that the green cross logo in cali?
I like that logo.
I'd go with the Sea of green ,you'll yield more.
ussually people run 20 plants per 1000 watt light.
Depending on the size of them.
What's the average yeild at 20 per 1000w?Quote:

IF you are doing everything else right. And that takes a ton of knowledge.
0.5g/m/watt. But That's assuming you are vegging elsewhere and you should expect more like 0.1g/w/month to start because guess what, your first grow will suck if you have never grown a plant before.
One of the first things you will learn is that the question "how much will x number of plants give me" has been asked a million times and there's no answer.
It depends on you the grower.
So with 15 5 gallon buckets the yeild should be the same??Quote:

They are right.
Impossible to say.
But around 400-500 grams per meter if you do it right with a heavy yielding strain.
But don't count on it .
Give it a shot and adjust from there.
What strain are you growing?
This will make a huge difference.
About an ounce a plant is what I would estimate if I was you.
I'm gonna go with sweet tooth. I hear its a decent yeild.Quote:
