Has anyone flipped out like this before?

One day I was smokin a joint with my friend.....

I was lying on the floor and he was sitting in a chair. We finished the joint and then I got jumped up quickly to go to the bathroom and this is when the trip began all in a matter of seconds......

All the sudden I got real dizzy and incoherent. My friend said that I fell into the wall.... began scratching it with both hands as if I was attempting to grab ahold of something. I do remember doing this but asked my friend to make sure that this is indeed what happened because it was really weird!! I fell down and blacked out for a brief moment on the floor.

Was it because of the sudden jumping up from the floor that gave me a head rush times 10? Thats exactly how it felt, like a head rush then it just climaxed from there.

My friend said that the same thing happened to him awhile back after smoking a joint when he got up from a chair. He said that he fell right back into the chair and blacked out.

Anybody else have any experiences like this?

just a head rush man. one time after we smoke a few bowls i jumped up from the ground and suddenly got really light headed and fell down on my knees. nothing to be worried about, just feels really weird.

thats happen to me i was smoking on a trampoline then me and my buddy started jumping after a joint each. i blacked out for a few mintues it was crazy shit

head rushes are hilarious

I passed out once after smoking a blunt in a hot tub then getting out quickly

ya once i was outside smoking and got up to fast and i fell and passed out and wen i woke up i was laying on my bong and i had bong water all over my carpet nad shirt. :(

one time i smoked too much weed and threw up on my shirt, then passed out for like 6 hours without removing the shirt. kind of gross.

You know that those aren't good, right? I mean, the reason why you guys are getting head rushes so badly is because instead of puffing on air, you've been puffing on joints or bowls or whatever. You're just cutting off your brain from air, and when you stand up really quick, your body tries to function still but it hasn't had as much oxygen as it usually would so the brain starts to shut off momentarily to try to "reboot" it working with less oxygen.

That's what happens when you start blacking out after smoking pot, lol. It's sorta fun, I think. It's happened to me when I take in too big of hits, but I absolutely refuse to let it out. Slowly, I start feeling like I'm drifting away, like I'm drifting out of my body and everything starts going black and I feel like I'm dying. But, after about 10 seconds things start getting normal again...

I've only had a head rush but I haven't blacked out.

the funny thing is that you don't even understand how dangerous and bad that is for you. but whatever bro, they're your brain cells!

Ever since then, I make sure to "breathe" in between tokes.

I used to smoke weed and breathe only the weed while I smoked for some reason. I thought that it would get me "more high" rather than use rational thinking and realizing that I am depleting my brain from Oxygen.

I wasn't saying that like it was a good thing, I wasn't proclaiming, "Look! I can make myself black out!" I was just stating, it happens sometimes...

its the holding your breath.. youre doing it to yourself.

What are you talking about? I'm not holding my breath, I'm holding the hit in. That's what's doing it to me. And I already realized that before I posted that, I was just saying it happens sometimes when I take a huge hit and hold it in.

one time when I got really drunk at a party I passed out in the bathroom trying to get rid of the hiccups.

You ever notice how hard it is to get rid of the hiccups when your drunk?

I remember sitting on the toilet and holding my breath trying to get rid of the damn things. Holding my breath for 10 seconds and repeating many times.

My wife and her girlfriend were out that night as well and I got home first.

It was like 3am and I hear my wifes girlfriend say "Oh my god your husband is passed out in the bath tub!!"

The toilet is right in front of the tub and when I passed out from holding my breath I must have fell forward right into the tub. Lucky I didnt knock my fat head into the porcelain and kill myself.

There I am, my drunk ass with my pants at my ankles in the bathtub all passed out and shit!!

Yeah, sounds totally like a head rush. Sometimes those are fun to have. I try to avoid them being an old man and all. My first and only accident while smoking ad driving happened because of a head rush. I was doing like someone previously said...smoking, but not 'breathing' between tokes, after I exhaled the next inward breath was another toke. So I'm on the way in to work and doing this and stop for a light. As I'm exhaling a hit, a head rush sets in. I'm panicing b/c I'm not really sure how long it's going to last. In the midst of that, the light turns green. I was completely disoriented and trying to go on my way but didn't realize that the car in front of me hadn't started moving yet. THWAP!!!

No major damage but I damn near pissed my pants while the cops were there. Luckily, I had been drinking coffee so my breath didn't smell too bad. The couple I hit and the cops were real nice about everything and I made it to work....having survived lord knows how many mini heart attacks.

Something else that used to give me a head rush...smoking a bong with ice and ice cold water. I could sit and smoke and feel nothing. As soon as I stood up...WHAM! I mean, to a point where I'd be walking like I was drunk for a minute or two.

Who can seriously say they STILL get headrush?

I used to get headrush when i was a kid smoking cigs, but i got over it after like 2 days...

it also happens when you dont smoke if u stand up to fast blood rushes out of your head and u black out or get dizzy for a few seconds you pull to many negative g's that your brain cant handle its like in an airplane when they say you have a red out its because to much blood is rushing into your brain from to many g's its the same thing as a black out

yah i get huge headrushes when i'm sober, but it might be because i'm like really tall.. and i get really bad headrushes when i'm like laying down, but still kinda active, then get up real quick, thats when it hits. Some ppl say I like hit my head on a corner of a desk.. But i just kinda barley remember doing it.. kidna scarey cuz it likes happens to me alllll the time.. :(

It happens to me alot, when i'm sober. I just kinda move slowly to the ground or i'll fall over.
Once I guess I got up to pee in the middle of the night, got up too fast and fell all over my guitars... wierd thing is I don't remember anything except getting up from the guitars. Maybe sleep walking? lol.

dude...when that happens that sensation you get is your bodys reaction to your brain dying....yeah...

but yeah ive seen people black out because they stood up to fast and got all dizzy and fell over, not me though i dont leave where i get stoned very quickly, i like to chill until the POlice roll up then you gotta book it
