Uh, I wasn't really sure where to post this, so I came here...You all seem like highly intelligent people and will most likely give me some sort of tangable feedback, so here goes.
I am not really a "religous" person. So I don't know what to think of all of this, most likely dreams, but who knows. About 3 years ago I would hear people say my name while I was trying to sleep. And not just a whisper, I actually woke up once because I serioulsy thought my grandmother was standing next to me, trying to wake me up. This would happen a lot. Once a month maybe, thats a lot to me. I asked a friend at work about it and she told me to talk back, I never did. Then about 2 years ago, it stopped. Until recently. I was sleeping and I felt a tug on my blanket. Like it was pinning me to the bed, I figured I was half asleep still so I tried getting up, but to my surprise I couldn't. I tried moving my arms and nothing, it was like a huge weight was on top of me. Then I tried screaming. As loud as I could with all that I had and nothing but a whimper came out. Then all of a sudden, it stopped. I freaked out for a second, and then figured I was dreaming...this happend again 3 weeks later. And then 3 weeks after that. The most recent time was less scary. It seemed much more dream like and I had more control. I heard a man's voice above me that sounded like he was talking in one of those big plastic microphones I had when I was a kid that made my voice echo. He said something that made no sense and I don't remeber. Then I was forced to my bed and this time I was able to move my arms as if i was fighting it off, and I was able to repeat no, over and over and eventually it stopped. I know this all sounds crazy and unbeilable. But I am not clever enough to make this up, and I was just wondering what everyone thought and if anyone else has had these types of "encounters."

Sorry I just saw this. Your experience is actually very common. Others have described the same identical thing. They force their will upon some......Their entitlements are greatly reduced from your lack of agreement. Instead of going further, I'll let this explain.

Who knows the entitlements that they already have but I suspect that these things fit in the category of familiar. They hang around families from generations. (Familiar, the same root word as family) A great, great, great, great, great, grand parent could have opened the door to this thing. You can close it. To get into your bedroom he had to get past your fathers covering. Actually a father can be a saved Christian, and these things get past, because of the generational â??holdâ?. Since it is invading your room, kneel down ask Jesus to Stop this.......... this raises another issue. The Lord does not force Himself upon anyone and certainly in this fashion. Ask the Lord to come in to your Heart, Your very being. Pray then that He would cleans your room (spiritually). Any sins that you have brought into your life to give them access.......confess and He will cleans. A lot of related issues were discussed here.

Sweetheart, He will be patient you and will work on your heart to close any door that you may have opened yourself ......to your harm. Intercourse with anyone with spiritual viruses, will land them very heavily upon you. Intercourse involves a very spiritual oneness. It is prohibited prior to marriage. I was not by any means successful here.... myself. But, my baby and I started to seek God and would pray together and ask forgiveness, and from the clarity that came through that inclusion of God, ........we separated. I called her every day for those two weeks, asked her out, and on that subsequent date, ask her to marry me. I adore her, and thank God for her.
I slip sometimes into something now that I must ask Gods protection for. He has revealed it to be sin to me. It is common but I know now and have more responsibility, and the Demonic observes this and the battle greatly intensifies. Bring the Lord into your bedroom by the simple invitation........... Hell cannot stop it. If we walk in the light of truth that we need his covering during these times like this, we will have His protection, but, His Spirit can weigh heavily upon us until our experiential pain......exceeds our pain to change..He is patient. But we must accept that "we will reap what we sow". Smoking in my case, ....as I observe people walking around with oxy bottles, could yield a crop I do not want. The protection I need is from the enemy ...to attack in other areas because of what I do in His Kingdom, and for specifically.....what I do here.
I do not want to assume any behavior on your part, But It merits the appropriate warnings...... Get out the Scriptures, It will radically change the environment in your room. I would suggest the New Testament. Forget, Hollywood, These thing are impotent against the Name and the Blood of Jesus.
The healing Room at Glory of Zion in Denton Tx. has anointed prayer focuses for dealing with generational familiars or generational sins. As I recall..... they are there from ten to twelve on Wednesdays, free for anyone who needs help... ~Confidential ~...They clean house so to speak. You can call them.

Hearing voices that aren't there and having visual hallucinations are symptoms of scihzophrenia and, left untreated, can eventually get worse and worse.
Seriously, if that is happening to you go to the hospital and tell them. They will admit you, diagnose you, and treat you accordingly. They will probably be able to control the visions and voices with a common anti-psychotic drug, maybe something along the lines of seroquel.

I know what you are saying Binz, But....Some of these things are treated with meds, and some med. conditions are treated by quacks, thru some exorcism.
She can pray, He will lead her. I have had numerous experiences. Mine were not sexual as I am aware, But, I do know that they were of a nature and clarity and intensity that if you had experience the same it would scare the SHIT out of you, and after a few times......trust me.....your knees will find the floor. I ain't Joking either!!

often accompanied by slight hallucinations and auditory hallucinations (small voices, knocks, footsteps, etc)
The reason for hallucinating while you are asleep and feeling weight on your chest like your dead grandmother is sitting on you...
It's called sleep paralysis.
It happens when you're under a lot of stress.
It is VERY common in Japan (#1 stress country go figure) and they call it kanishibari
In old times they say kanishibari happens because spirits are trying to take control of your body or some shit like that. So what spirits do is sit on top of you to stop you from breathing so they can take over you.
Many describe the 'aura' as evil or unpleasent.
It happens very rarely..
I doubt you will face it again unless you are under a lot of stress.
Nothing religous happened, but religous people believe monsters are trying to possess them.

I am sure it would scare you. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't seek professional help.
Think about it this way. Did God ever say that prayer was the only answer to every problem? I am pretty sure that, if God does exist, part of the grand scheme of the universe included psychiatry and mental illness treatments.
Please clarify what you mean exactly about the some medical conditions being treated by quacks through exorcism. :smokin:

The things youre experiencing are in your head, whether you accept it or not. You are posting on a cannabis forum, so I assume youve smoked weed before. You also probably know that THC is what gets you high. The THC molecule binds to a cannabinoid receptor in your brain because it has a chemical makeup similar to that of anandamine, a naturally existing neurotransmitter in your brain that has been recently found to deal heavily with short term memory, appetite, etc. So THC binds to the receptor and your brain is actually fooled into thinking its anandamine and bam the synapse fires electrical signals all over your brain. THC is a different molecule than anandamine, which explains why THC "gets you high"; it sends electrical signals to strange places in your brains and causes weird things to happen. in short, what im trying to say is that weed nor THC gets you high, it only makes your brain stop working correctly which in turn causes you to feel high. There is a disorder called hallucination persisting perceptions disorder. People who have it continue having hallucinogenic symptoms even after they have no harmful chemicals in their entire body. It is simply because their brains have begun functioning in a certain way.
In short, if you want to stop experiencing otherworldly things all you have to do is decide to stop experiencing otherworldly things. Degree of belief has a direct relationship with degree of success.
Then again you could decide to keep experiencing these things because theyre kinda fun or whatever. Its up to you.

Guys....you obviously do not understand what I or these women are talking about. I set up a new thread on the sexuality forum.....lets Just Chill for now. Let this play out and see what comes out of it. People reading an article on wiki or about ....whatever do not have a clue..about this..vision is not the right word. It is an experience where the individual is wide awake. I explained in another thread what my specific experience was. We can't move at the time. but the awareness of what is goin on is very real. I could see them with my eyes closed. the specific sensations felt at the time. followed what they were doing. I know there is psychobabble to explain that....but, let those that have.....describe it. It's cool guys, just hang....bear with me.

Quacks? we all have heard of nut cases steering people with serious or otherwise whatever medical conditions, away from appropriate med resources. look, I was totally clean, from '86' to '93', my experiences occurred from '83' to '90'. always in conjunction with a very spiritually jacked up individual I was working with at the time. These are spiritual pathogens that seroquel won't fix, other than simply knocking them OUT, to where nothing would reach them. Please Please....Chill for now ......lets see..

As for these things being caused from smoking weed, well that isn't a possibilty. Call me a poser, but I haver never smoked, ever. I come here because I know the people on here honest and have very interesting things to talk about. Nothing has happened since the last time. I am just waiting...

I know exactly what you're going through. I used to have it happen to me all the time myself. It's scarry as hell until you understand what it is. There's a mechanism in the brain that renders us immobile so we don't get up and act out our dreams. I've even seen video of a cat where this mechanism was severed. The cat was up hissing and scratching with it's eyes shut...sound asleep.
When it gets freaky is sometimes you're at the threshhold of sleep and awake. You can have your eyes open, but you're half asleep, and you can literally dream things into the room. The first time this happened to me I thought demons had me pinned down, and I was hearing all kinds of wild noises. Another time a giant bat flew into my room and I was immobile and couldn't fight it off. I wasn't going out without a fight and all I could do was spit, so I was ferociously hockin' loogies at the bat! I finally came to with slobber all over my chest...lol
Usually this happens in adolescence when you're going through a lot of brain chemistry changes. It can be caused by stress or fever too. It's nothing to worry about any more than a nightmare is, so relax. You'll know what's going on next time and it won't be so scarry. Ever wonder why it's so hard to remember dreams? It's a chemical reaction in our brains on waking so that we're capable of distinguishing reality from a dream. Our physiology is looking out for us, but sometimes it doesn't function as properly as it should.
It is interesting to note that in most of the ghost alien abduction stories I've read, the situation was ripe for, or identical to sleep paralysis. It's a phenomenon that's probably responsible for a lot of our cultural mythology.
So you're not going crazy and you're not being attacked by spooks. If it's a real problem you might try changing up your sleeping habits and avoid caffeine n' such before bedtime....hope this helps..

The first time it happened to me, I freaked out. A woman overheard me talking about it to a friend of mine and said she was scared for me...so I was freaked out even more. But now that I see that this isn't that strange, well it is, but that other people have had experiences similar, I'm not so scared. My sleeping habbits are horrible, I work thrid shift so I am up all night and sleep in the day and sometimes I just never go to sleep. And like everyone, I am always dealing with stess. It's so nice to finally know that I am not totally insane! It's all actually very intriguing to talk about and to hear about other's experiences.

Sleeping during the day? There's your problem. All this stuff happens during the light stages of sleep. Many of my experiences were during naps. We just weren't designed to sleep during the day and with all the light and noise you're kept on the cusp of wakefulness where all the weird things happen.
It is intriguing and if I hadn't thrown myself into figuring out what was really going on, or I had been born in a more primative time, I would be swearing that goulies n' ghosties were after me because I had seen and felt them with my own eyes.
If you have to sleep during the day you'll need to make your room completely dark and quite, and adapt yourself to this cycle. If they don't go away at least you know what's going on and you don't have to be afraid of them. I've gotten to the point where nightmares don't really scare me anymore and I actually play with them a bit. They can be clues to what's really bugging you and pretty good self-therapy if you want to take the time to really consider them.

This is why I personally believe it is related to your sleeping habits, as others have pointed out. It is probably just sleep paralysis accompanied with stress. I would still recommend seeing a psychiatrist or seeking other medical advice. This alone can help with your stress issues like you wouldn't believe. I don't think you are schizophrenic or anything, even though it does show some of the symptoms. However, you seem to only experience it during your sleep cycles, which is why I believe it to be sleep paralysis.

Guys...I can not accept that it is Mir coincidence that on the very day that I worked with spiritually oppressed people, That I was hassled that very night.
Most of the people here ....probably wonâ??t agree or understand....thatâ??s cool, I certainly understand that.
There is something very dark about the experiences I have had and also of the testimonies by the women on the "about" link. I hope everyone will read it. I understand the phenomenon of sleep paralysis, though I know that demonic attack isnâ??t necessarily involved. I believe that the attack happens then because of the vulnerability and state of the victim being asleep.
The few times over the last ten years that I would sense, a dark presence in my room, I would speak a shield of faith over myself and my family, for I am their cover..well, more accurately their priest.
Ephesians 6 vs 16..I speak the shield of faith over us, I then turn and can very easily rest. I have also used it during times of dealing with demonic possession, If He/it claim to take their property(the person) and leave. I can speak a shield of faith before them and the demon can not take the individual past it. It is truly amazing to see.....absolutely amazing. One looked up and said "HOW...DOES HE DO THIS"? Not referring to me but to God. I can expect the same protection for my self....trust me, I spoke the protective shield last night, I wonâ??t go into what happened in my room last night because of activities going on here right now, But, I prayed the shield to cover me and my family afterward....also my house, Linage etc.. this sounds wild, but I can't come on here and be a false witness and expect God to bless it any way.

My time is too valuable to spend in a fruitless effort. I fear God too much to be a false (lying) witness. To expect His blessing on it would be stupid.

I was reading a bit to answer a post on the â??Sinâ? thread as it relates to some things less defined. I knew it was addressed in one of Paulâ??s letters concerning meat sacrificed to idols. In my search I came upon a passage from Christ in Revelation Ch 2 addressing the sin of Balaam. It addresses the use of compromise in ministry. I still have half a joint that I was given .....I don't know, for 6-7 weeks now. I donâ??t have the peace to smoke it. I havenâ??t for some time. Ever since the back pain I suffered is gone. It was a thyroid issue.
I can't ....in any level of peace..... claim anything, that I don't have good conscience to share...If it's my experience last night or any thing else I would say here..why should I subject myself to His punishment, whoâ??s blessings I desperately need, and whoâ??s peace I can't afford to lose.
It is hard to understand something that hasn't been experienced personally, especially something this bizarre.
By the way oneironaut is now using a satanic symbol used in ritual drawn out on the ground. It is actually upside down. When the symbol is right side up, the A is then upside down the legs of the A(upside down) are the horns, the intersecting points of the line across the V is the eyes, and the bottom is the mouth. They do this figure 8 dance around these intersecting points of the eyes as a group and then down to the mouth. It is to see and speak. They think that they are gaining something, but they have in fact cursed their vision and given an evil eye, as spoken of in scripture. They are given over to doubt of others, a paradigm of self exaltation, Love is castrated, the sacrifice of the one for the many (a previous sig. He had). It goes on and on... this is more than Mir atheism. You may remember Jesus left the many to rescue the one lost.

Hi braddog,Hope your well & could you tell me how you do the protective shield? I usually just keep saying Jesus over & over until I feel safe to go to sleep.
I went to email you again earlier today & my computer froze!! Also night before..I had a terrible dream & I woke up just drenched in sweat & literally
gasping for breath because of the dream..BUT..after I woke up for the first time in a very,very long time I felt free of the evil I have felt before when I would try & sleep at night..it is gone!
I know YOU will understand what I am saying. This is so strange what I am reading on here..I am going to call you this week..did I tell you it has been weeks since I used? I was so committed to it but for weeks now I haven't used MJ..it wasn't giving me peace..it agitated me..but I still support its use for those that need it..hope you don't think I am a hypocrite saying that & hope you understand what I am trying to say.

I went to email you again earlier today & my computer froze!! Also night before..I had a terrible dream & I woke up just drenched in sweat & literally
gasping for breath because of the dream..BUT..after I woke up for the first time in a very,very long time I felt free of the evil I have felt before when I would try & sleep at night..it is gone!
I know YOU will understand what I am saying. This is so strange what I am reading on here..I am going to call you this week..did I tell you it has been weeks since I used? I was so committed to it but for weeks now I haven't used MJ..it wasn't giving me peace..it agitated me..but I still support its use for those that need it..hope you don't think I am a hypocrite saying that & hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Yeah, I know. reflecting on this here the last day or so, I think Christians get the more harassing type. They are limited if they can't find agreement. as far as doing anything else. But for the others, allowances over time....they won't stop anywhere. I fixed the link on the "about.com" testimony where the woman mentioned that she welcomed them, The bizarre thing is that It seems singular. But they travel in packs. I dealt with a kid once where they said that they were one hundred and fifty, made of ten charts.....they were rather proud of that. I brought this kid into our home. You've got to talk to my wife about it some time....... It was short lived. I hope you come through Dallas sometime...Kiddo I had used the shield on him... I learned from a book that I was reading during the time that I was befriending a neighbor girl. I was dating my wife at the time. She found literature in California, that explained procedures for demonic relations. She got very messed up, Attempted suicide and subsequently moved back home, I was already going to inner city ministries where I had learned quite a bit and had seen alot. I could describe but, folks here would suggest, idonknow .... shock therapy........for me! This is when harassment started. I slept with my light on for some time.
In this book it explained the simple use of the shield of faith in deliverance. I primarily was getting the night time harassment. When the boy was with us. It was then ....while he was there that this cognitive, wakefulness, hit....but, everything else was asleep, I saw them kind of like sketch forms moving to my arm to injecting me with something, with my eyes closed. I have talked about this at length previously but don't recall exactly where.. After this.... I remembered the shields effect and control of them. and when I ever sense that feeling. I speak it over me and make a wave over me also with my hand. I'll tell you more about it, it really gets more interesting. especially when they came back and this boy, was in my driveway....... It was a Sunday.... people were out. and I didn't want to make a scene............that was ......something! I used it and it froze his ass right there, in my drive way. freaking awesome.......Power of God. These are spirit beings,..... under the authority utilized by those of us who have received.
Ever since I started doing this, especially when I know things are stirred up, I do it.....hassle free. I went to bed last night ......a bit too confident in my self. Reality does have a way of showing up. Last night was one of the more powerful ones I have ever experienced. Pressed into the bed etc...I am soo glad I knew and was familiar with this spiritual tool, because I probably would not have slept..........so use it in peace. remember our faith is in his power over all of this. and not our "faith" in faith. ...Ok? This is where true faith can be sure. very honestly, afterward, I slept like a baby. This is where the dominion mandate comes in. I'll discuss it sometime.
I am happy to hear about your peace. I too would suggest MJ for any one suffering pain. and have told my Dr's.
You are no hypocrite. Look the word says "A righteous man falls down seven times and gets up, but the wicked are brought down by calamity". It's in proverbs somewhere.
But still, where are we going to stumble a bit... but where we are weak. If the Lord is leading you out of it, and ....I'll tell you he is much more gracious than we are on ourselves. Please be at peace. "He is able to complete the work that He has started". Suffering pain, I believe I could use in peace. It would have to be a different hybrid than I had, WW sent me.... past my roof. but it took very little for me. but even a little of that My Gosh,....most of my prior experience was with ten dollar an oz. dirt bags. Your an adorable honest, girl. This is what it is to walk in the light. Being honest and not hidden....and simply allowing God to do His work on us. The joy we experience, is actually His joy over us. For allowing Him access.

Don't be sorry about my experience..if you knew my Life story & the troubles I have had just relaxing much less sleeping at night you would know the extent of my release from that fear of darkness & letting go.
The funny thing is I had not read this thread until a few hours ago..thats what was so shocking to me when I did read your post..I was following your post & came to this thread..I am going to sign off now but you should have 2 emails from me..and now I understand. Maybe you will pass through Alabama..but most likely I will pass through Dallas again before you make it here. I do travel & was just in Dallas a few months ago. Oh! I've heard of something called open eye dreaming or something
It's the main explanation for people who claim to have been abducted by aliens.
The way those people describe abduction is they wake up and cannot move a muscle and cannot say anything. Then they may experience strange sounds or see bright lights and see an alien like being, that they can feel touching them and taking them away for a night of anal probing.
This is explained by docters as sometimes when you go from awake to sleep your eyes can open up. So your body will be asleep and your mind will be going deeper and deeper into sleep, but with your eyes open. So people can start off with just being in there room not being able to move to flying around in space with ET.
But of course it's not just for aliens, you could be dreaming of anything with your eyes open.

My bet is that your experience was sleep paralysis... don't worry yourself to death about it, it's harmless IMO. It's a neurological glitch, and we know it has something to do with the brain not being completely shut off as you fall asleep.
I had something similar happen to me once: I was trying to go to bed, I felt myself leave my body and I was able to move around "in spirit" just above the bed. I went back to my body, starting hearing clanging pots and pans, saw a green glowing glob, and experienced extreme terror. I could not move or scream as I wanted to, but finally I was able to get myself out of it. Another time I was at a friends house for the night and I saw a "demon" hovering over me. That was the worst instance of this I have ever felt, but about once or twice a week I get mild sleep paralysis, with no hallucinations.

It's been awhile, but I thought I would share that it happened again, like 3 times. 3 days in a row. The first time it happened since my last experience was at my boyfriends place. It's so strange because it didn't happen while we were sleeping, it was in the morning after he had went to class and I was trying to fall back alseep. Then the next two morning it happened again. but these times were not scary at all. I just realized what was going on and thought "fuck it" I'm just going to stay asleep and not try fighting it. Ok, that's all.

That's when it happens most. We do most of our dreaming in the morning before awakening. It's something of a glitch when you're phasing back and forth between 'asleep' and 'awake'. It's kinda cool if you understand what's going on and don't let it scare the hell out of you.

What he's describing is common, it's called 'sleep paralysis'. You're in what's called a hypnogogic state when it happens, trust me, it's nothing and well researched. I've had it once a friend of mine had it, complete with various beings in his bedroom and not being able to move, for about two months. He changed jobs, cut down on his stress levels by 80% and they stopped. Seriously do not buy any of the demonic crapola. You're fine.
