guess u guys dont do much camping!! i go camping every july to an awsome place called KUITPO FOREST. its very remote and a popular campground. 4 good mates come with me,The best niteswas when BLAIR WITCH PROJECT CAME OUT!we all got so fkn stoned and started trying to scare eachother. It worked ,every noise ,every creak we shit!!! .a bit of weed and imagination turned into a nite of horror . lol.
Well, if on one of your camping trips you got horribly wasted and went bareback into a kangaroo, THAT would be a story! LOL!! j/k
Actually, I think there are quite a few people on the boards that camp and hike. Give it some time for more people to breeze through the thread.
I got back from campin a few days ago, went w/ my family + a friend.. stoned every day
:rasta:
Nice to see another camper enjoying the great outdoors ,i wish i didnt av to work id camp more ! some of the best times ive had with friends and family has been spent camping love it!!
I used to go camping, backpacking, rockclimbing, etc all the time. I used to work in a store that sold backpacking and climbing gear and, at one point, my plan was to become a mountain guide. I haven't been out in a couple of years though, since my daughter was born, and I seriously miss it. Next year she'll be old enough and then we're sure as hell going to spend some time in a tent.
There is absolutely nothing better than kicking back in some high mountain meadow. looking up at the peakes around you, while smoking a fat bowl. Probably my best story was the time me and a friend climed this 10,000' mountain and spent the night on top. The next morning we split a 1/4 of shrooms for breakfast and headed down. Nobody else around, just us, the birds, and incredible scenery. Damn that was a good time.
Fengzi, you know dern well that the places we have to go camping in Northern California, and the scenery offered, cant be beat.:thumbsup:Quote:

The Alpine Meadows, streams, rolling hills of granite, Glacier peaks, the Forests...., fuck, it's heaven, but without all of the forgiven people. lol
Glacier National Park, in Montana, is also a awesome place to backpack, 'cept you really do have to watch the Grizzly Bears. We were there once when these two women were camping, one of them was in the middle of her period, the Grizzly ripped through the tent and snatched her up. The rangers found the bear consuming her in the woods. fuck. I can hear her screams as i type this post.
Anyway, i thought i'd share :D
hope you;re having a nice global warming day,

I slept on a riverbank once, no tent. The starry skies are my tent. Heh.
Not much of a story, but it was fun. Couple of friends and I roasted some meat over a fire, drank water from a gallon jug. Then just slept on a bend in the river. Woke up then picked a couple of bags of blackberries on the way back to the road.
No weed or mushrooms though. Would have been a bitchen time wandering through the woods collecting shells. Just like a primitive or something...Heh.
i plan on going camping in about a month from now. but other than that my friend's parents have a trailor in this little trailor park community. a couple months ago we went there and smoked out the whole time; we hot boxed his trailor, we smoked on his boat, we smoked driving around in golf carts, we smoked around a bonfire, and we smoked on a hill under all these stars and just passed out up there. fun time
Thats a great story:thumbsup: waking up to fresh berries, nice.Quote:

When there's a full moon it's nice to take nightime hikes on many of the trails...., 'specially if ya have an 1/8 of shrooms.
peace, happy trails, and here's to more good camping adventures:D

I love camping out!!! It's just been so damn hot here lately. It's hard to sleep in weather like this unless you're used to it. No one ever wants to go with me when it's this hot out. There's no better place to get toasted than the great outdoors.

Once you hit the western slopes of the Rockies, from New Mexico, up through Canada, and all places west, the scenery, backpacking, kayaking, rockclimbing, and the buds, are absolutely unmatched anwhere.Quote:

They are attempting to turn 3000 year old growth forest into toilet paper, roofing, and paper towels. We just cant allow that to happen.

And the coal company came with the worlds largest shovel
And they tortured the timber and they stripped all the land
They dug for their gold till the land was forsaken
And they wrote it all down as the progress of man:confused:
Yeah man, I've been as far west as Flagstaff. It was more of a road trip though, we didn't prepare for a camping out. I can't imagine how a clear starry sky with that kind of elevation and no city lights would be. Fantastic.Quote:

man i hear u ! Australia is heading down the same path if not worsethe politicians are actually considering ( using our deserts for a world nuke waste dump!!!) can u fkn believe it ?. THE PRIMEMINISTER OF AUSTRALIA NEEDS TO WAKE UP ! save the wilderness for future generations.!!
I always urge people to speak their minds. I also always like to urge people to get out and travel. America is a beautiful nation. Our government is corrupt, murderous, and ignorant, as are those who elect them..., but all in all, it's a nice place.Quote:

We need chemicals and pesiticides, and

my hearts cries for the wildlife. I wonder what the fish, the whales, the land animals, did to deserve what we are doing to them.

Some humans aint human
some people aint kind
you open up their hearts
and here's what you'll find
a few frozen pizza's
some icecubes with hair
a broken popsicle
you dont want to go there
Some humans aint human
though they walk like we do
they live and they breathe
just to turn the ol' screw
they screw you when you;re sleeping
they try to screw you blind
some humans aint human
and some people aint kind
You might go to church
sit down in a pew
those humans who aint human
could be sittin' right next to you
they talk about your family
they talk about your clothes
when they dont know their own ass
from their own elbows
jealousy and stupidity
dont equal harmony
i love you daima and your lyrics

I love camping...even though I have never really done it, I would like to sometime, near Mt. Everest
Anyone that Smokes bud knows that camping and blazing herb go hand and hand.
We,ve got some nice places to camp in Australia either near the beach or in the bush.I've set up an old eight seater bus as a camper and go exploring the countryside. I have found more than a hundred places where I can camp free and usually find backpackers or retirees there. Either way theres always a good time round the camp fire. Sometimes I'm on my own ,miles from anywhere and I enjoy the solitude.Mostly there is water nearby,be it a river, dam or weir, which attracts an abundance of wildlife or farm animals. The backpackers I meet come from all over the world and the retirees are a wealth of information. The locals seem more honest out in the bush. I've camped near paddocks where shooters were trying to cull wild pigs or kangaroos at night. Sometimes I camp at roadside rest areas where anyone can stop for a break. It's a great escape.
Im camping on on teh 30th of august in the woods.
Its gonna be awesome, it always is.
Everyone gets wasted, most people get stoned.
No stories really except for its a wicked awesome time. :)
