Please Help My Indica!!!
I just found out that my youngest plant is an Indica and she's having leaf trouble. As you can see by the pictures her tips are brown and dying. It starts out yellow and then brown and spreads to the whole leaf. Sum one please help me save her!! I was thinkking of reflushing her and repotting her in a bigger pot and add a little superthrive. Anyone, please help!! I am using a 400w hps in a closet with soil.

Hey Bob, my light is 3ft above plant, I used MG tomato feed NPK 8/7/6 and it is about 3wks old. I was adding 1/2 strength of nutes with sum superthrive. I repotted yesterday after flushing 1 more time. I repotted to a 10" pot and added soil as needed. here are the pics:
I am also about to buy the full line up of Fox Farms nutes for my next grow and I will just follow their feeding chart. I am just waiting for my order from Nirvana to come. I think I have at least 3 weeks to get shipment. Gotta go check on my plants..

did you flush your plants with straight water?when you flush you should flush with a mild nute mixture.what kinda soil are you using?it looks like the plant is hungry.

i must say, i do agree with mscaboo. it looks like your plant is thriving for nutes. looks like (i would say) you started them on a nute mix, and took the nutes away... or at least that was my problem
if you start with nutes in the water, you need to "ween" them off gradually or this will occur, you may want to try "fish emusion" or possibly fish oil, i have used the oil on one of my indica plants and it helped dramatically
anyways, GOOD LUCK

Weed4Life, looks like a touch of fert burn. The old leaves won't heal, but keep an eye on new growth.

Please Help My Indica!!!
Thanks everyone. I am going to start a small amount of fert next watering. I was thinking of killing my other 4 plants since they are sativas. They just grow way too quick. I guess I could try to plant them outside somewhere in the woods or something. I want the Indica to get bigger before I throuw it into flowering. Does anyone think it is too early to throw this plant into flowering?

If your sativas are growing to fast, wait until they are at the height you want them and top them by cutting the first new growth at the top over and voer again. Even in the floweing stage...

Don't top during flower. That's where the cola is supposed to form.
Why don't you just bend them and train them horizontally? The sativa high will be worth the effort.

Please Help My Indica!!!
Thats what I was going to do for the remaining 2 sativas I have. I remember in the forum in here somewhere someone said not to top during flowering because it wont repair itself unless it is early in flowering. is that right? I am going to go to walmart to get sum fish emulsion, but what can I give the plants for the flowering stage? I have sum Shultz bloom plus and I just bought sum epson salt.

Is there a big diff.? I plant on flowering in about 2 weeks or so. Would the reg. emulsions work for flowering or no? What other thing can I use for flowering that is like that?

hey, sry for the late reply. anyhow.... Dont kill the sativas. They grow really tall. but just tie em down. drill holes in the pots. and attach a string to the pot and the other end near the top. pull it taught. adjust each few days. make sure u dont dig the string into the plant.
I have 2 sativas and an indica. My sativas are like a go straight up. then horrizontal. then straight up. this keeps them to the same hight as your indicas.
Nutes. sry no experiance with anything but foxfarms. so i cant suggest anything but that. Also make sure u also get the FOXFARMS OCEAN SOIL MIX. Imo.. no use geting pro nutes without pro soil.
ph ph ph. i messed my ph up. one feeding. and BAM i got some brown leafs. Its a must. im going to get a good digi one on my next gro.
also. look in ur phone book or online. for a hydroponic store in ur area. At first, i didnt know the key word for grow shops. but its hydroponics :)

Nutes- fish emulsion is great, but takes a little while to really do its thing. I like to mix it into the soil when I repot. For instant results, a chemical formula can't be beat but I don't know if you're going organic or not. Plus fish is high N and you're trying to restrict N during flower.

Well Bob, its alittle too late. I killed 2 sativas and kept my best. I topped the 3 2 days ago and once they start new life, I am trowing them into flowering. I am definetely going to LST the 2 sativas. they are big. 4 times the size of my Indica. I was thinkiing of Buying all fox farm nutes in a month or so when I start on my next grow of papaya and bubblicious that I got in the mail yesterday! I will consider the soil also. I need a dig. ph reader also. I think its just a pain to try to test soil.
