Could strong FAN wind do this to a plant?

As of the last 2 days my small plants hgave started to droop over. The only things I can think of that have changed is I moved the fan to blow in a diffrent dirrection and it hits more of tha plants. (which i thought was good and made for strong stems) and there was a heat change with real Muggy Toronto city Weather But I have AC and I noticed only a 3 to 4 Degree temp diffrence. so 80 degress instead of 76.

Should I maybe be adding some Water to my box for humidity as the AC is taking all of that out of the air?

Any help would be great. I hope these babys don't die on my Noob growing ass.

the pics of all plants was taken 2 days ago all seemed fine. The droopy one I took this AM. The soil is still moist on top and I water I guess every day and a half. With Coco Mix, One ounce of Lime Per gallon of coco mix

Too much fan air is bad it can make them bend over and start gr0wing that way, u don't want a lop-sided plant do you?

Just turn the fans on to the point where the plants barely move but get some air, that should be enough..

Thanks Will Make sure the fan isn't blowing too hard on them. Does anyone see anything else that might be causing this sudden change?

Couple comments,
The glasses are not an ideal growing container. You NEED drain holes.
Those other black nursery pots are great, get more of them.
What's up with the hydroton mixed in your soil? Kind of unusual. Not necessarily bad for the plants, just odd.
I wouldn't try to add humidity. You say the air is already muggy; even with a/c you're not going to get into the dry danger zone.
The purple veins and pale leaves indicate a nutrient deficiency.
The soil looks very moist but I can't tell really from the pictures. What you may have going on is soggy soil combined with a pH problem, which would cause deficiency symptoms by making several nutrients unavailable to the plant.
You mention you are using coco+lime; why the lime? Is it because of the 'put the lime in the coconut' song? Sorry, couldn't resist. But seriously that could be the problem.
Are you testing your pH after application? I was under the impression that commercial coco media was already pH balanced.
And finally, what's your nutrient situation?

Hey thanks for the questions Hopefully I can get you answers So you can help me. The glasses I drilled hols in I wanted to see what actully happens under the soil as I am A Newbie. should I cover these up to make sure no light is exposed to the Roots?

Ok The hydroton the fellow at the store told me would add Air to my root system to allow for better drainage and oxygen to the roots he said striaght Coco is not good for the roots. The lime (Dolophile lime) he told me is to to break down Salts from nutrients. My soil is always very moist even if the top drys out under its still pretty wet. I think I maybe should have added more hydroton for this reason.

I don't have too much knowledge oh Ph testing And have no clue on how it effects my plants besides I know that it does. I guess i need osme Ph strips. and do some reading. I doubt my coco was tested from Ph as it comes ina Block/Brick format where I add water. and get coco. It was much easier to carry as I have no Car only Bike.

My nutrients (Botanicare) Pure Grow which I had been giving these planst with regular water untill 1 week and a half ago because i found out that this was bad for my small precious plants (I now know to only give it to the about once a week or water water watrer nutrients water water etc.) I also have the Pru Bloom for flowering which i have yet to use. So for the last week and a hlaf I have been watering striaght water about every day and a half. when I see the top of the coco start to dry. But it still seems pretty wet. undernieth

I have 2 computer fans in Box T5 2ft Tray light 4 bulbs 2 cold two warm each bulb is 24W 2000 lummes. Temp is around and Below 80 Degrees

the droopy one doesnt look like it's getting enough co2.
how big is your space?
how many watts is light?
It may be getting too much h20. to determine if my plants need watering i pick them up. Heavy container means you have enough water. A lite container means your plant is is need of watering.
Over watering your plant will cause them to stagnate, to droop, to lose that dark green color we all seek.

Anyway KD, lime is a soil sweetener and you should only use it if you know what it's doing to the pH. It can be really helpful to bring acidic soils into the 6.3-6.8 range you want. I've never heard of using it to 'neutralize the salts'... if you have salt build up, you flush with water, REALLY weak fertilizer, or one of the commercially available flushing solutions. Whoever told you that is confused.

pH test strips are not that great- kind of pricey for not too many uses. The liquid indicator is better.

The hydroton thing... again I think your grow shop guy may be just trying to sell you more shit. Perlite is a cheap, easy to find soil lightener that isn't going to weigh a million pounds taking it home on your bike!

Glasses to see roots- actually not a bad idea. I sometimes plant in clear cups so I can monitor how root development is doing. Wrap some tinfoil around them so when you want to have a look you can just peel it back, but the roots stay dark.

As for light, your internodes look nice and tight. So that's a positive.

I seriously think you just need to flush flush flush, test and probably adjust your pH, and let your babies get a little drier between waterings.

Thanks so much for all that info. I am picking up a PH kit tommrow forsure. So heres the question Now I have done a little reasearch and kinda have an understanding on PH 7 is normal. anything below is a BASE andything above is an Acid. to even a High Ph out you add more Base and vise versa? Correct?

So if i measure my water before i water the plants and its at 7ph and then do it after I water my plants and its at say 5 what do I add to make it more to 7 is it somthing I have to add to the soil or can I add it to Water prior to watering my plants? and I quess if its too high say 9ph what do I add to lower it and does it always have to be added to the soil or can I add it to the water? Any help with this would be awsome. Adn I will read the forums more as well.

I have noticed after the plants light break today for 6 hours they have stood back up again. Hopefully this is a good sign and they dont fall back down again tommrow. But i will be picking up a Ph kit forsure.

As too how much I water so far it has been when ever I see the top of the coco start to dry out a little. and I usualkly water so there is always 10 percent drainage with water and with Fertilizer is this a good thing? or should i let it drain more or less?

Thanks for all this help I have basically written this one off, hopeing to learn alot and get a few clones. The 2 seedlings have not been touched with anything but water so I hope they turn out better than these ones. The plants are BoggleGum and the Seedlings are a bluberry crosss called BlueJay. They sound like store madeup names but whatever to mee weed is weed and I don't want to buy anymore for the rest of my life. I want to spend that money on a house or guitars... hahah

So I have reasearched on Ph levels and how to adjust and lower them, etc. So I can feel confidant on making changes in future and now.

one thing I am not clear on Is flushing. Should I flush everytime I water? and should it be 3 times water to the size of pot? Or do I flush say every three waterings, and Feed. SO water water Feed Flush water water Feed FLush etc.

Flushing is not something you want to bother with that often. It's good for the last watering before harvest, or when your plants show signs of nutrient toxicity.

Seedlings shouldn't get nutes- good.

I think you're overwatering. Stick your finger in the soil- even though the top might look dry the soil can still be really soggy. Pick up the whole pot. Wait until it starts to feel light to water, then water really well.

I think your PH is off so your not getting nutes to your plant.
Or it's underfed I think.

I have checke dthe Ph in the soil and its 6.5 to 7 and I believe my plants do need some food. as I have only given them water for over a week now. Because of all the Nutes i gave them, by accident. I think it is safe to give them, some food again. Also i bought a cheep water meter and found out I have been keeping my soil way to moist. so I am going to let them dry out a bit and feed them a little.

DOes anyone recomend Folier feeding and what times are the best for watering when light is off? or right befor eit goes on etc?

yeah it sounds like u have ot sorted now over watering can be hard to avoid for a new grower. i know i did it i just couldnt help but water them and mother them , i think i molycodled them a lil bit to much and all they really needed was some tought love ....lol
