what kind of grades do you get, and whats the worst thing that you've had to do because of them. I failed biology so i am retaking it during this summer, and it sucks. 5 hours a day 5 days a week. My other grades were a D, a C-, and a B.

Well, my grades pretty much sucked this year. The worst thing I've had to do though is I've been to summer school for failing US History & I had to take Biology (Usually a Freshman class here) as a Sophomore... :(
in l.a., cali where i went to school, biology is a senior only thing
i had horrrrrrible grades this year, i alrdy got into my shcool of choice and was like fuck it so i went to school forl ike 4 days in my 3rd nine weeks. My 3rd marking period was FFFFFF but then 4th marking i got like AAABAA so i wound up with like Cs which is hcillen for second semester senior year

don't be down...the world will always be in need of ditch diggers...
I used to get really bad grades, waaaaaaaaaaaay back in middle school. I failed one class in 6th grade, 2 in 7th, and 1 again in 8th. Otherwise the rest of my grades ranged from B-D-.
But I straightened up in high school, and now in college, grades aren't really that important, or at least not as much as they were.
I won't share with you my grades. But anyone who wants to see some really stunning transcripts can say the word . . . . I'm proud that I've made really good grades and test scores over the years. I plan to keep doing that when I start medical school in four weeks. Heck, I'll have to!
What did you take?Quote:

You either get 70+% or fail.
I got through ALL of high school just by getting really good scores on every test and project. I'd say in 4 years I did about 10 homework assignments...
Made it out of school with a decent 3.12 GPA too...
In college I double-majored in journalism and English and also got a teaching certificate and did a minor in pre-med (biology), which is coming in handy now. Graduate school was a degree in journalism (news editorial sequence). Law school was, well, law school, so I took law courses, and frankly, although I made good grades there, I knew from the start that I wasn't cut out to be an attorney. I think my father and husband are still shaking their heads about the money I used up on that one.Quote:

i actually got pretty decent grades this year.... D in science a couple Cs a couple Bs and an A in auto.
i didnt do homework much at all the whole year, only the yr end projects, didnt skip that much though only like once a month.
Looked like I made this thread for a second lol.
Zowie, there are two Maui Wowies! Only one's a Mowie.
How-we gonna cope?

Down the road when clinical specialities begin, I think I'm going to be interested in emergency medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, or pediatrics. Those can change, but right now those are three areas I think I'd be interested in and good at. I don't think my makeup is that of a future surgeon.
Got kicked out of school, got my diploma a year early and ended up finishing with a ~3.1gpa.
dont ask me how it happened, but i pulled it off :)
Ha...
Kids stay in school and dont do drugs :D
i usually get 65-75% but i pretty much dont do any work at all and dont study... i can get in high 80%'s when i study moderatly. im aiming for 90%'s in my exams comin up
how do you get 65-75% without doing work and studying???wouldnt you have to get more than an A+ for every test???
