Female smokers?

I am a female in my 20s... been smoking weed regularly for several years... now what surprises me is that all smokers i meet and have met are all male (bar two, both of whom have quit by now) and all of them have expressed their surprise that i smoke. apparently none of them have ever met a girl/woman who is into smokin', especially not on a regular basis. And if they're not that surprised to meet a woman who smokes, they almost faint when they see me roll joints backwards :o And no, these aren't just young males or newbies.

Is this true? I know there are some females on this board, but I was wondering, generally, do you guys come across female smokers a lot, or is it a bit of a novelty?
Supposedly it's pretty cool though so I'm not worried :p

My old dealer was a girl. So is my girlfriend. And her friends that smoke.

It's always struck me as funny whenever someone tells me that.. but then again, I DO know dozens of male smokers and at the moment, no females at all.

Wow, I guess I understand a bit but at the same time suprised. I know tons of female tokers. Unfortunetly though its like they just get smoked down by the guys and shit. I have never seen/heard of a female dealer. and most girls I know dont pick up or spend their own money on pot. But, then again, i know a few girls who are huge stoners and pick up all the time. ha. intersting post.

yeah i know so many male smokers but only about 5 or 6 female's.

by talking to my mom though, i think that
as people(man and women alike) stop smoking
my mom and her boyfriend still smoke, but
she says that all her friends that smoked
stopped after college.

I guess its just more exepted for males to smoke? maybe? not that i think that. Everyone deserves a toke.

alot of my family's friends are female tokers but most are older hippies in their 50's

all of my friends that are girls smoke. maybe things in the uk are different though. anyway you probably are just with a different crowd. even in the states, most of the girls i meet are pot heads. but then again, when i started smoking most of my stoner friends were guys (oh by the way im a girl, and im 18) but that was about 5 years ago...
idk - go to a rave. all the girls there are stoners.

i know a few, hell, this gas staiton attendent smoked weed, and she wanted me to go out with her douter who also smoked weed, my current girl friend smokes weed, my real sister smokes, my step mom, my metaphoric sisters smoke(like 3) and my best friend in the world smokes, and also a good friend that i just rescently started hanging out with, smoked me out the first day we met

depnds on who you hang out. you meet potheads, they introduce you to their pothead friends, and eventually youll find all sorts of stoners.

I know a lot of girls that smoke, two of my friends are heavy hitters who at times can smoke all the dudes under the table.

i know three girls that buy weed themselves and smoke regularly. my girl roomate smokes with me whenever she's home and i am smoking, but i wouldn't consider her a true smoker in the sense because she has no weed, paraphenilia, etc. i love it when girls smoke, especially good looking ones, because then thats at least one thing we have in common! ;)

i dont get why it's such a shocker when girls smoke a ton of weed. hell i used to deal it back in my high school days. and i know plenty of other girls who deal/have dealt. its not that big a deal. i mean, im sure more guys smoke than girls do. but, when people act extremely shocked because "oh heaven its a girl who smokes a lot of weed" it makes me feel like girls are supposed to be inferior on the whole stoner totem pole thing. not that there is one, but you get what im saying.

i probably dont make a bit of sense. im high.

Actually i dont know too many, in fact i know about 1 heavy stoner thats a girl.

there're lots of female tokers out there, you're just gonna have to look for them. it depends on what kind of crowd you're in too. i knew someone from my film class who smokes but didn't find out till the end of the semester when after casting her in a pot referenced film project, we finally realised we enjoy a bit of herb every now and then. i also had a production assistant who smokes but it's usually me getting to smoke her out more than she did on me and i don't mind at all. i use to hang out with a group of people who passed the occasional joint and there seems to be more women than men. i noticed that the pot influenced conversations exchanged with these women are more rational than with guys, which happens to be too far out.

I only knew female smokers back in college...even then, it was only like 2 or 3. All the females I met afterwards make it clear they don't like to smoke. ;(

I'm a female smoker. Have been for a few years now. I spend money on weed and everything. Hmm..so yeah.

I've been toking 20 years, but have been using it as medicine for the past couple years.

Im a girl myself and i find very to little amount of female smokers too, so you're not alone.

And I'd have to say i agree with AcrossThePond, girls who smoke alot shouldnt be a big deal at all . it is the 21st century afterall. what a sexist thing to say!! lol :)

Yeah most of my female friends have tried it at one time or another and might have even had a 'phase', but all in all, I haven't come across many girls that actually buy, know how to roll or own any paraphernalia, ie. the hardcore stoners like myself, LOL!

The stoners I've come across have ranged from all different backgrounds in different countries and most of them have repeatedly said to me they think it's cool that I not only havve no problem with it, hell, i'm more of a stoner than most of them!

Guys are always complaining to me how their girlfriends are nagging them about smoking too much... which I can totally relate to, that'd be awful having someone tell you that!

So I am going to go spark one up now in honor of all my gals who appreciate the finer herb in life :rasta:

I know...6 girls that smoke! One is my girlfriend and she cant roll, but her friend can. And another one can. I'd be suprised if the rest could.

But all my good guy friends smoke, and alot of my not so close guy friends.

Yea, bit of a novelty! It's nice though, ive had girlfriends that nagged me about it.

My smoking experiences have revealled that generally there are lots of guys that toke. I know a few female tokers, only in the region of a dozen and a half though. And that half is a special half because they smoke all the time they are not at work and I can never keep up when I go see em.

Here at home the ONLY girls that toke up, are the type of smokers who never ever buy their own personal stuff. They rely on the fact they have ass that guys with copious amounts of dope wants. Pisses me off! Screw that...I hate girls like this so I really don't smoke up too many girls at home...

Except my girlfriend...and my dealers girlfriend haha. Me and my dealer taught his girlfriend how to roll blunts and stuff...she's pretty good actually! My girlfriend is still sort of shy around me when she smokes, but she'll smoke a blunt or a jay with me. She's intimidated by bongs and bubblers and anything too intricate (compared to rolling something up). She's a girly girl and doesn't want to look dumb in front of me, it's cute haha

At college....DIFFERENT STORY!! I wasn't used to the idea of the female stoner until college. All kinds of girls smoke. They smoke mass amounts. I met a girl dealer, I found a girl who can roll a blunt 10 times better than I can, and I found some hottt girls that smoke too! My "Big Sister" in our sister sorority (I was in a fratt) was a hardcore toker. Smoking with some of the girls from the sorority, that's when I found out that...I love blowbacks!!!!!!! :thumbsup:

When I was at college, some girl always rolled banana joints. I don't know how she did it to this day, but it was often long and coned with a bend/smooth curve in it. Maybe she sucked a lot of pipes and prefered ones with a bend in i dunno. *cough* I wish I had a party trick.

only a few chicks dat i no smoke. all the stoners are dudes. but then again i live in a fuckin hick farm town in south ct. its probly different in other places :stoned:

i am freinds with a lot of female smokers. Really cool people and fun to be with. I do find them to be a little less "feminine" but i odnt even know if thats the right word to use.

I think it may depend on where you live from my experience.Dont know to many stoner chicks though.Lets hook up sometime and spark a fat ass bowl.

I plan to post as much as I can, but I am sick a lot.

I might go on a quest next year for 3 months and see if I can become acquainted with 166 hardcore female tokers in my neighborhood and stick their mugshots on here
