He was probably one of my favourite artists, with Piper at the Gates of Dawn being one of my favourite albums. (get the lyrics to the songs on that album, no one else wrote like that) Truly an unfortunate event
very much so and i know some people that listen to floyd and have no clue who syd was so under-rated

i never really liked syd barret too much, piper at the gates of dawns not my favorite, the band got a lot better with david gilmour

i did like syd, but he did only do one album with pink floyd, he was great though. I heard the news this morning while i was tokin up, so i dedicated it to syd. May he rest in peace.
