I smoke herb. Only thing I smoke, only thing I need to smoke. But besides that, when it comes to alcohol, all my friends are just astounded I don't really like it. I can honestly say that most of the time my opinion on being drunk is it fucking sucks cock compared to herb. I don't get how people can only drink and not smoke weed
I dont like drinking at all if its hard shit. i only like to drink beer, which ussually is jsut kicking back and having a few.

I like getting drunk, but I hate drinking alcohol. Smirnoff, not the vodka, is good though and just tastes like pop, so thats all I'll drink.
The only drinking that I can really stand to do is if it is just hard shit, like whiskey and ice. That's really all that I can stand. I can't stand vodka mixed with other stuff, it makes me want to toss my cookies. Well, I just drank tonight, nearly all vodka and sprite and vodka and coke.. goodness it wasn't fun. I'm still feeling pretty drunk.
I have pretty much found that drinking sucks for many reasons. Alcohol totally changes people I hate how you can know someone for years and still never know what to expect because theyre drunk

I really don't like drinking either. I'll take weed anytime over it. Alcohol is just so...Bleh. And it's easy to go a little to far, and feel like fucking shit. With ganja, there is no going to far and feeling like shit, the only problem you can have is stuffing yourself silly or baking your ass off and zonking out.

cause u dont get the drys or the munchies, it doesnt make you depressed and you lose your self consious. plus smokin just dope makes me not as fun to be around i usually just sit there makin shit comments and i think to much. and thinkin too much leads to problems.

Well, that's my problem with alcohol: I'm basically a social alcoholic, and don't know how to quit once I start. Plus alcoholism runs in my family, and has killed my mother, a brother-in-law, and a step-father (although the latter being dead probably made the world a better place). Alcoholism almost got me too, but I pretty much just quit drinking, except for the occasional bottle of wine shared with the woman.
In any case, I've seen alcohol kill enough people, and don't need to see it kill any more. It's both addictive, and a poison that will destroy brain cells and your liver (that's what killed my brother-in-law and step-father). I much prefer a few good bong hits or a spliff.

There's nothing wrong with not liking alcohol. It's not for everyone. People freak out cause I don't like beer...it taste like piss to me....but I'll drink the 'girly' drinks at restaurants. I do like a good gin, but it's like a special treat.

And to make sure you don't get a hangover, just down a glass of water before you, uhhh, "drift off to sleep" after a night of drinks. You'll just wake up lethargic and tired in the morning most likely, but at least your melon won't hurt!

I get depressed everytime I drink now so I don't drink anymore. Plus I hate the hangover, I don't like the way food tastes when I'm drunk.. doesn't satisfy me, I like my secrets kept bottled up and alcohol can uncork them, I don't like violence and alcohol makes me want to fight and generally, I don't like the drinking atmosphere. when I was younger I used to hate to drink. When everyone else was drunk, stupid, and puking I'd be happily stoned. Now I like to drink but never to get drunk. Just 1-3 nice drinks to relax a bit. My favorite is tequila, straight up, with nothing mixed in, but it has to be good tequila, not that Jose Cuervo Gold shit that everyone makes margaritas with.
I've been drunk about 10 times in my life, and I'll admit that being drunk can be very fun. However, I dislike the taste of most alcohol (Rolling Rock aside) and I feel like the actual drinking process is a chore. And when a substance leaves you feeling like shit when you wake up, it probably isn't something to be messed around with. I mean, I have smoked at least 2 bowls a day this entire summer and I have never felt any negative effects. So for me, I'll stick with marijuana because it feels like less of a poison and more like a helping hand.
Drinking after effects are the worst.... on new years eve i got so drunk that i spent all of new years day in bed... throwing up. on the other hand bud makes me feel good.. makes me hungry, makes me relax, it even makes me take a shit better. and that is what life is all about eatin, sleeping, and shitting.

And not only can alcohol make you feel shitty, it's destructive on one's health. There's tons of calories in it and it makes your liver work too hard. I've wondered if maybe alcohol and cigarettes are still so commonly used in US culture because americans don't fuckin care what's physically bad for them, that's why they eat at kfc and mcdonalds. Before I smoked weed I used to think getting drunk was the best thing ever. Since turning to the ways of the leaf I've found that whenever I drink it just feels so stupid in comparison now.
I don't like alcohol at all.
I'll have a drink or two socially, but I hate the feeling of being drunk. I hate the lost of complete control of yourself.

i generally hate the taste of liquors, cant handle whiskey at all, but vodka(especially smirnoff and grey goose) i like. but i prefer a GOOD beer(yueng ling, corona) or 40's nowadays.

Drinking is an occasional thing to me. I usually like getting buzzed more than I do getting drunk because it avoids all the sick feelings. I hate beer a lot- it tastes like shit to me, but I like hard alcohol, like vodka. Not that vodka tastes good, but I'd rather be taking a quick shot of something I don't like the taste of, than sip at something that I don't like the taste of.
I like to stick to weed though- alcohol is too messy

I enjoy beer and have a taste for hard liquor, but I have to agree with what 90% of the posts have said: alcohol is simply not as enjoyable as bud for me. The fact that enough of it will make you nauseous, make you throw up, give you a hangover, and can kill you is just not appealing, especially when compared to marijuana. However, it IS an intense feeling when you're very drunk and very high at the same time..happened to me last night at a bonfire.
Sometimes I think that the majority of people drink for social acceptance.

I'm the same way. I've only been drunk once in my life because that's all I want to be. I hate the taste of all alcohol and if I don't enjoy something then i'm not gonna do it usually, especially if it will take away from my weed money. it takes awhile to get used to the taste of alcohol. to me, hard liquor(especially rum and whiskey) will always taste like shit so im gonna do my best to stay away from it. but on a hot summer day, an ice cold beer is mmmmm. i love drinking a beer while smoking a jack, although drinking a beer while smoking a blunt would be even more ideal.

I hate the way alcohol feels in my body. I have always felt it very keenly as the depressant it is, and as I get older, I like it less and less. I'd rather smoke an occasional joint or get "high" from endorphins after a hard workout. I love that feeling.
I don't like drinking. I hate the way pretty much all alcohol tastes. And when I'm drunk, I am not enjoying it. I'll be drunk for like 20 minutes and then be like "I really just wish i wasn't drunk anymore."
I don't drink very often, but when I do, I drink way too much. So, I've decided to just not drink at all anymore. Its not worth it when I don't like any drinks, and I end up hating the sensation it gives me.
