Lol. :smokin:
I take it that you like the 70's Rush. They played Natural Science, live, at the third show that I went to. Ironically, I skipped a final exam, for college, to see it and went with my best friend, who's always loved that song.
I failed the class. It was worth it. We had to travel down to Albany from Plattsburgh, NY, through the Adirondacks. We sat about 15 seats from the top, in the upper deck of the Knickerbocker Arena, now called the Pepsi Arena, or it might have changed again.
What city did you see them at?
I have never heard any of their music....
would love to check some out
I wil check out the above albums. :)
favorite album is moving pictures although some older albums are good what album is the song "working man" on ?
yeah working man is an awesome song, rush is okay overall, darn canadians!
It's on the first album, "Rush".
2112 is great! I dloaded a few Neil Peart drum solos, they are always entertaining!! 'Exit stage left' is on of my fav live albums. I have to say tho that I dont care for their most recent stuff

my bro has a rush dvd. it's got closer to the heart ( good song)... uh it's rush chronicles. rush was pretty fucking ridiculous, but i like them haha.
As Neil Peart would say...
Quote:
All of us get lost in the darkness,
dreamers learn to steer by the stars.
All of us do time in the gutter,
dreamers turn to look at the cars.
Turn around, turn around, turn around.
I saw Rush in concert in the 90's, Primus opened, awesome show.
I will choose "Freewill"Quote:

And then it rocks back in. Neil Peart is awesome on the drums during the chorus, through the transitions, and the song rocks. :smokin:Quote:

Or, the guiding hands of fate.
I don't believe in forever,

But, I believe there's a ghost of a chance,
we can find someone to love...and make it last.

here's a video featuring the trailer park boys
King Lerxst!
I saw that little short guy (the main character, at the beginning) in a video that they recently shot for Closer To The Heart at their studio, in Toronto.
Gedde Lee has some PIPES!
Rush rocks.
Ever heard the song
"I think I am going bald"
It is on Carress of Steel
Funny ass song
Yeah, that song's gotta be on of their least musically-evolved songs, well, since Neil Peart.
Get the 2112 album... NOW
I saw Rush during the Moving Pictures tour, and they rocked the house. Max Webster was the intro band, and they were awesome too. That was the early 80s. Shortly after the Moving Pictures album, they went another direction musically, and I haven't liked a ton of what they've done since then. I mean, some of it's okay, but their early stuff was really great, groundbreaking.

2112 is pretty sweet. this 42 year old dude i used to live with said he saw them and they came out and geddy lee said something like "this is our album 2112" and they just played it straight through without stopping, as if you were listening to the CD. usually when you get two outstanding musicians together in the same band, good things happen. geddy lee is a madman and neil pert is one of one of the greatest drummers ever.
