Omega´s Haze 19 x Skunk grow...

Hey guys, here is the grow i´m doing right now...

Strain - Haze 19 x Skunk
Area - 6´x 8´ x 5´
Soil - potting soil with ph around 6.6
Water - ph around 6.4
Pots - 3 x 3 1/2 inch
LIghts - 2 x 36w 6400k fluoro tubes + 400w HPS (not in use yet due to temp)
Air - circular vent (24/7) in the slowest speed
Temp - About 80
RH - About 60%

Three seeds were sprouted in a tupparware box with papper towels and destiled water (ph 5.8) took about 48h for all seeds to sprout, all the seeds sprouted, but not all at the same time...they were planted in soil (not all at the same time) along with clay pelletes at the bottom of the pot...
There is an interval of about 12 hours from each planting...
Here´s what they look like 4 days after the 1st seed popped out of the soil...

I found that the plants were in some serious root bound....no more small pots for me tks...anyway the largest girl after repot is going yellow as hell...what do u guys advise???i mean all the others look fine and i feed ll of them the same water and they all are in same soil...they are 2 weeks old today...and i do think they are really small...what can i do???

they are a bit stunted, but those pots should get them over it soon, looks like they just got set back a little, they will pick up speed soon (within a week or so, you'll see.... :stoned:), and as long as the new growth is green you'll be ok, just keep that PH under wraps and grow big!

Mmmm, I'm drooling already. You guys probably didn't realize it, but I can see into the future. I see some nice, juicy buds coming.

....the girls seem to be doing much better, the yellowing stopped and the leaves are getting a nice dark collor ... been watching out for the overwatering and they seem to enjoy not as much water as i guessed they would...anyway they still look pretty small to me after 20 days...i hope when they get under the hps they´ll grow much bigger and faster too..im really enjoy this...

Maybe, put one plant under the big dog (400HPS, not too close, 15 inches at least) and compare results for the next one week?

Definately worth a try, I vegged mine with a cfl for 2 days before putting all of them under the HID's

Well guys tks 4 the input, my next grow will be with the HPS all the way to check the difference in grow....another week went by and the girls and doing so much better that i can´t really bealive they survived that major root bound prob...they´re still under the 2 fluoro tubes and all other issues such as water ph, soil ph heat and humidity are under the normal levels....

this is what they look like now....about 25cm high (the tallest) and 23cm (the shortest)...once again tks for all ur help and support......:D :stoned:

Hey KNVB whats up?I´m about to take some pics and do a bit of writing update to cause i had some leafs burned while i was away 4 the weekend...the buggers grow like crazy...anyway i´ll be back later with updates...

Hey all here are some update pics of the girls (i hope) .. :D ..
I left them all by themselfs during the weekend (i went on a surf trip), and when i came back one of the girls had some scorched leafs, i really dont know how bad shes going to be, but im guessin that no major damage was done....the girls are tall and about 3 - 4 days to go into flower

their height is between 32cm (shortest) and 40cm (tallest)

Cancel all future "surf trips" until further notice. You need to watch the girls grow. Surfing is better stoned.

Ok so i´ve decided not to flower them at 6 weeks, they were not getting enough "juice", here´s what i did, i´ve plugged the 400w HPS just until they reach 2 months + add some Nirvana Algae & Seaweed extract ... hopefully this will fill out the plants a bit more ... this is how they look like now ... from left to right they are, 43cm - 50cm - 46cm height ... hope u like it ...:D :D :rasta: :rasta: :stoned: :stoned:

I think you made the right decision on 2 months, over the last 9 days they're really looking good :thumbsup:

Mine are in day 6 of 12/12, tallest one is 32" other one lagging behind at 28" really taking off :rasta: going to have to tie that one down.. hehehe..

Can't wait for lights to come on today, I think my nl#5xhaze is going to show itself today ;)

Ok here we go ... 1st day into 12/12 ... i think i made a wise decision by keeping the girls one more week into 18/6 under the fluoros + 400w HPS, they really bushed a lot and put up a few cm´s to ... hope u enjoy, wish me good luck with the sexing ...

looking good v .these floru tubes have done the job for you.be safe the postman.

I'm probably wrong but don't those leaves look a little fat for a dominantly sativa plant, espesially haze or skunk varieties? Did you get these from a bank?

Yes they do, but they are hibrids so u never know what percentage in the genes they have (imo) ... yes i got them through a seedbank ...
Haze 19 x Skunk - they dont say whats the percentage of each strain

hey dude ur girls look very nice. i hope mine look as nice as urs. man i hope ur plants turn out to be nice ladies and i anticipating updates when theyre into flowering.
