Computer Case Grow Guide?

I was just curious if anyone has any links to a grow guide designed towards a microgrow inside of a computer case or other similiar container.

lol why are you growing in a computer case... anyway i think ive seen something about microgrowing ill have a quick look for you..........ok ive been looking for a while and all i could find was an a thing on closet growing not sure if it will help but heres the site http://ganjaland.com/closet.htm should be relativly the same but yeah.... well there it is have fun with your computer case man

I dont really see the point. You'd be getting like 2 grams? Whats the point?

lip you can actually get a couple ounces and the point is micro grows give people who would normally never be able to grow because of parents landlords etc the chance to grow their own personal weed. as for links their are a couple good threads on planet skunk, good luck with the micro grow its hard to pull off :stoned: o and also you basicly have to go with low ryder wich isnt that good of a smoke o well

maybe ya could use an indica strain in that micro grow cabinet
if you only veg it for 1 week after the seedling stage and then place into flowering
you might just be able to pull it off ,you might need to learn the art of LST (low stress training) too ,as you could use this if they get too tall

Thanks for the planet skunk recommendation, I haven't checked there yet.
I've been trying to absorb all the information I can before my seeds (Blueberry) arrive next week. As for the choice of strain, there's no reason why you could not choose a traditionally huge strain to grow in a micro. Using techniques like LST or perhaps some pruning you can keep the plant as bushy and managable as you want. I bought all my lights, paint, and wiring for the case, now I just need the case :thumbsup:

Or get a real setup for $599, jeez you'd think that case was lined with platinum, growing in a PC case is a waste of time period.

This is true, i have a semi micro grow going. I have a 3 foot tall box with 3 plants growing in it. The plants are about 4 feet tall but because i tied them down they fit well in the box. If and only if you do alot of research and spend alot of time working on your garden will a micro grow succeed. best of luck :thumbsup:

Funny you say that. I am thinking of doing the exact same thing. I already have the pc case... It's a big one. Six drive bays and a windows on the side.

The only seeds that I have are bag seeds from some pretty nice regs. I figure if I could get something in there with reading and learning all I can about doing LST. One of the reasons I thought of a big pc case is that it has 530w power supply and it is designed to be very well vented. With a little modification (common for people that would have a BIG pc case) I think it might just work. But what do I know?

I would hold on to your primo seeds till you do it once or twice with bag seeds.

what is the with and depth of your box?
I was also considering just building a real strong box with a door.

I'm actually getting a clone or two from a friend :thumbsup:

As for the people saying and who will say its a waste of time:
a) I can get more weed in $$$ than I invested in it, it's obviously not a waste of time.
b) $599 is a lot of money, I'm spending about $50 on this so its not even in the same playing field.
c) I have a second much larger grow in a friend's old fridge.
d) This has already been shown to work on overgrow and other cannabis growing sites.
