I happened to get new work as well. :) We're both happy. I took about 4 months off working in a partners personal buisiness, but that's done now. Nothing I want to do for a living, but I made good cash doing it.

I'll just be unloading trucks in a shipping/recieving dept.. Pays me $12.50/hr as well.

The work force wages have gone up big time in the last 4 months, no...? I see McDonalds in the paper offering $11/hr! Am I crazy or something, or is it just here in Alberta?

Yeah man, I'm dead serious about it too! I saw it in the paper, not only that, McDicks will pay for your cab ride if you need to ride to/from work, and 50% off all meals and such there. Not my kind of job, at all, but I mean for someone new to the work force, goddamn! That's good fuckin coin.

Wal-Mart is offering $10/hr to start as well.

The oilfield here in Alberta, "the Texas of Canada", is taking away employment here in the city and I mean everywhere is looking for people. Most fast food places will start you at about $10/hr now. That's how hurtin people are.

There ent a job in the world that deserves me in its position i always say.

Being self employed doin a bit of this that and the other suites me better
