every day smoker over 30 years
 Ok, here we go. I have been an everyday smoker for over 30 years (not counting a couple of dry spells) hapily burning 3-6 joints a day, having been self employed for most of those years and not having to dwell on passing a drug test for employment. :smokin:
I have only recently become aquainted with the prospects of having to pass one, as I have been offered a job oportunity doing something I might enjoy, if I do not have to alter the lifestyle I have grown to relish.:smokin:
However the pre-employment drug test (probably a piss test) is a fact I will have to deal with. :(
I have read several advertisments for products which offer many times its purchase value as a refund if their product produces a failing result, but have seen little feedback on these types of products in this forum.
Of these products, I have heard positive reports for the Strip 32 oz and the Strip 16 oz instant products.
I was wondering if anyone in this forum has had first hand experiences with any of these 2 products, and perhaps would share the details as to their preparation for the use of same, and the outcome of their experience.
I am over 200 lbs and natural de-toxification is not is not an option, abstainance is not one of my strong points.
And besides, I can't imagine any job being worth that.
I will probably only have 2-3 days notice of a testing, and it could be as little as same day notice.:(
Thanks in advance for any helpful info:thumbsup:

being a retired longhaul truckdriver, and lifelong smoker, I have seen many drug-test remedies come and go ... unless some space-age discovery has occurred, I can tell you that none of these solutions do as advertised ... IN MY OPINION: nothing will work that claims to 'flush' your sytem out, the only way to pass a test is to substitute 'clean' urine, the detox products are a waste of time and money ... YOU WILL FLUNK if you are not abstaining for a minimum of a month to six weeks ... again, this is only MY opinion, before you flame me, understand I have known many people that have tried everything out there, and come crying that they were fired ... :smokin:

Order something along the lines of the wizzanator (sp?), just need a way to deliver the correct temp piss from a concealed container. That way you know for sure and only have to order piss from then on out. I would also suggest dehydrated urine to carry on your person when working just in case you have an injury. Most places require drug tests when youâ??re injured. Donâ??t use synthetic, get some from a clean friend or order some. Temp is very important so experiment with hot water just so you know.
I served in the military for the last 4 years and never failed supervised piss tests.

My dealer used the whizzinator.
PO: "I don't think that's your real dick."
Busted.

Well I guess I won't know if this job is worth it or not if I don't get it, so I have pretty well come to the conclusion that the only sure fire way to pass the drug test I will have to take to be considered for this position is abstainance, as I couldn't bring myself to substitute, and from what I have read here in the past several weeks has led me to believe dillution may not work.
So I am posting this to share my experience thus far in hopes of informing others with a similar dilema.
I have purchased several THC test strips from a reliable source on ebay and I have abstained from smoking for 31 days so far and still not testing negative, even after a great deal of sweating for the last week .
To throw another glich into the works I have been taking flexerill and lortabs through a pain management clinic to which I have also stopped (at a great deal of discomfort) about 3 days ago just in case they are interacting with the THC test. By the way if anyone knows how long those substances stay in a persons metabolites I would like to know, because even though they are prescribed I would just as soon not have this employer know of them.;)
I will continue hard manual labor and sweating until that 2nd red line appears
on my test strip, and then I will toss my hat into the ring and submit to big brother.
If everone used drugs would drug testing become obsolete?
DRUGS WILL GET YOU THROUGH TIMES WHEN THERE IS NO MONEY

Honestly I believe that majority have done some type of drugs (even the legal pharmacy stuff) in there lifetime. The only reason why it's still illegal is because the government hasn't perfected a way of complete control of it (importing/exporting) and taxing it to hell like they do tobacco. Drug testing is crap anyway. You tell me someone who huffs antifreeze everyday can get a job over me because I smoke trees occasionally? Only way they'll get rid of drug testing is if they start testing for tobacco. Whew, think of how many people would be bitching then? lmao

Hello everybody,
For all to know,STRIP NC by COVERTLABS doesnt work.I have 3 empty bottles
to prove it.I use it at three different times and FAILED THREE TIMES.
Now try and contact covertlabs and all I got was a recording , email them
and nothing,no answer.I am over 200LBS. and followed the directions and still
FAILED.AT $50.00 A BOTTLE.
Here's the thing There is 3 piss tests. One is a Cheap'o test, can be fooled by
any toxins cleaners. The second test is alot harder to fool. The 3rd is a 10
panel drug test. This tests for all the bad drugs, met, cocaine, heroin, barbiturates, and so on.THE INSURANCE CONPANYS are behine all this
Perempolyment testing.I bet they own stock in the testing labs,if they dont own a few of them.
I passed one test, but I didnt smoke or do any drugs for 6 Months, I was on probation for disorderly conduct. The day it was over I smoked a big fat one.
3 days later I had to drug test for a job,I didnt smoke any for the 3 days and used strip nc .It worked that time.So if you have to test DONT SMOKE FOR
30 DAYS use the strip the night before and 4 hours before the test, drink 2gals
of water and piss alot.YOU MAY PASS THE TEST NO GUARANTEE.
ITs' a crapshoot useing any of the toxin cleaners. The THC stays in your body for 30 days, stored in your fat tissues.
Her's one for you, I took a drug test for a job and failed.THE company contacted me to say I failed the test and I had to PAY THEM for THE DRUG TEST.I told them to piss up a rope and put that test where the sun doesnt shine. They send me a Bill for the test.I didnt pay it,So they reported it to the
credit bureau.I called my attorney{SHARK}and started a law sued, boy did they start jumping up & down.along story short they payed the attorney bill
and remove the clam from the credit bureau, and I got $3000.00 for all my trouble. If they want to drug test you they pay for it bottom line.
So to all that has to test good luck.

and by the way MsStrawberrySwisher I have heard of some companies testing for tobacco (nicotine I suppose) canning employees who smoke, and the courts uphold their decisions to do so, in order for the companies to get lower insurance rates.

:) :) :) EUREEKA !!!!!!!!!!!!! 34 DAYS AND A FAINT RED LINE MAYBE THERE IS HOPE AFTER ALL (I wonder if all the beer yesterday had anything to do with it?) todays test wasn't diluted, it was late in the morning and all the beer got pissed out yesterday I'm sure:dance:

Yeah it'll definetly take a minute to get your system cleaned....and it all depends on your metabolism, etc. Your probably almost there.
-
every day smoker over 30 years
Well 38 days and still only a faint red line, but todays test was a 5 panel screen test and the THC line was faint but all the other 4 were dark red so at least I know I am clean on the opiate test.
Will test again in a few days and post the results, still hoping for a dark red line soon.

i really wanna know how long it takes to flush out a system straight up cold turkey for a drug test!
props to your will power, i was thinking of buying whizzinator and saying 'fuck it' but I was leary because usually they do more than just telling you to go into the bathroom and pee in a cup
-
every day smoker over 30 years
Yeah, I gave the whizzinator a quick thought but dismissed it, it would be my luck I would whip it out and piss down my pants.
Day 39 and my faint red line was almost invisible today, I wonder what's up with this:confused:
-
every day smoker over 30 years
Having a CDL I was always getting tested..Got caught, but from that time on I used these pills http://www17.netrition.com/daily_detox_page.htmland drank Cranberry Juice everyday....Never again did I get caught, but I also changed my ways till retirement!!!!! I too applaud you in your determination to make this change in your life...
-
every day smoker over 30 years
Well, day 40 and the faint red line reappeared and was the same for day 41, and here we are at day 42 and the 2nd red line is still faint  but becoming more vivid, but I still would not want to trust being under the cutoff point at this time, and would have to caution anyone in believing that even 6 weeks is enough time for every person to detox naturally.
-
every day smoker over 30 years
I have smoked for 35 years and clean out in 28 days, just in time to pass my tests, I drink lots of water every day so I think that is a big factor.
-
every day smoker over 30 years
As fakeboobs will atest drinking alot of water during the days leading up to a drug test does not do much to rid the THC metabolites of ones body. :(
I know this is true because I also drink a fair amount of water as I work outdoors in 90+ degree heat, there are days I will drink in excess of 2 gallons of water and average about 1 gallon a day. ;)
Other factors such as body fat and the amount of substance consumed and of course the quality of that substance are the major contributing factors in which the body will rid itself of the THC metabolites, and as I have stated earlier my usage has been quite heavy (aprox. 2 grams a day) for many years, with the quality being better than average:rasta:
And as far as body fat is concerned I am arround 215 LBS at 5'11'' so I am definately capable of storing a fair amount of THC metabolites, and when you combine these factors with an aparant slow metabolism rate it is not surprising to see the results I am reporting, discouraging but not surprising.
So here we are at 44 days of abstaining and I am still only getting a faint 2nd red line, but I am not giving up hope of one day soon seeing that bold red line on the test line.

You can't get that stupid simply from smoking weed, it just can't happen !!!!!
And for those that are still following my personal progress, we are at day 48 and still not a bold line for the test line, and it looks real odd on a 5 panel test where you get 4 bold lines, and then the line for THC is so faint in comparison it would make anybody suspiscious.
But I will emerge victorious,

Hey stoned in paradise just out of curiosity do you feel you have had any long term affects from smoking marijuana for 30 years. I'm just curious because most long term affects are not really known. You might hear from DARE how it will fry your brain or whatever, but a lot of that is crap. Would you say you have any serious long term affects? Or has marijuana pretty much been a positive part of your life for the last 30 years?
-
every day smoker over 30 years
Drew that is a good question, I am not really sure what is meant by "long term effects".
Personally I started smoking pot on an everyday basis in 1971, and was a casual smoker for about 3 years before that.
That would put me at about 35 years smoking everyday, while through the 70s smoking mostly an OZ a week (mexican) until the paraquot (spelling) scare and then switching to columbian gold at about 1/2 OZ a week.
Slipping in a little domestic green every now and again. good green mind you.
But from the 80s until present (or at least up to 7 weeks ago) I have tried to make an OZ last 2 weeks, depending on the quality of course, sometimes longer and sometimes shorter.
Now as far as any adverse effects I know of none, I have been described by long time friends as someone who could tell you what I had for lunch 25 years ago. And most of my family and friends no longer question me when I make refference to happenings that took place many years ago, as they have tired of being wrong.
As far as short term memory, I have not noticed any depreciation in that regard as well. My learning ability may have slowed just a tad, but is that an effect of smoking pot or just a simple fact of life as you progress in age?
Now do not take that last statement wrong, it is not to imply I am a slow learner, it is to only imply I am not quite as fast as I once was, to illustrate this I give as an example a test I recently took with a group of about 20 other people, where a device had to be broken down and reassembled.
In years long past gone, this type of test would show me finishing this task between first and third. Now I find myself finishing in sixth place.
So is it because of the increased age or is it because I have been a pot head for over 30 years, much to complicated for me to figure out, or even want to.
But one thing I do want to add is, most of my formal education had been completed before I started smoking weed, and I do feel strongly about getting an education and finding your place in life before becoming a pothead like me.
Also I would have to say that I have had no visible negative physical effects
from smoking dope all these years.
Now, can all of this change in the upcoming years? what is really meant by "long term effects"?
Are we talking 30 years? 40 years? 50 years? I really do not know what is meant by "long term effects"
I am sure you have read some of my other posts on this board, and I ask,
does it sound like my brain is fried?
I have read many posts by other long time smokers that certainly sound as if they have their shit together as well.
And I would like to add this one last thing, nearly everyone in which I have daily contact with (outside of my family of course) would never even suspect me of being a pot head, even the many law enforcement individuals I have frequent contact with.

Pehaps it is because the government can not find many, and of the ones science proclames there to be, how many of those could have been in reallity caused from other toxins or abuse from other substances?
-
every day smoker over 30 years
You definatly do sound like an intelligent person, certainly not someone who is fried out. Wow 35 years is a long time, of course it would because i'm only 22 :D You seem to sound like the other long time smokers i have talked to, no real noticable problems with memory or health in general, just a long period of happy smoking that has improved there life. I do agree that smoking and education can definatly be a problem, i'm currently in college and have had to limit myself at times. Mostly the problem just comes from wanting to smoke and getting sidetracked from things i need to do. I havent had any problems learning or anything like that. I usually try to keep smoking to the weekends as much as possible as college can be a busy time during the week. And actually I find smoking always keeps me fascinated with the things i'm studying, I began to see chemistry in a whole new light, instead of just some dry boring material I began to see how incredible the things i was learning really is, how complex and organized the world is at such a small level. For me marijuana drives me to be a better person and to truly appreciate the world, far different from most of the propaganda you hear about how marijuana will turn you into an unmotivated loser. Although you do have to be carefull not to overdue it while your going to school, to much can be a bad thing, i guess you just have to be responsible, some people probably couldnt handle it. Anyways thanks for the respons its always nice to listen to what a long term smoker has to say.

ive read before that it can take up to a couple of months to clean out your body to the point of passing a drug test especially if you smoke every day for years.
it shouldnt take that long for an occasional smoker but there is no simple answer as it can vary.

Well, here is my input it is only my opinion.
I am a heavy smoker and overweight. Different things apparently work for different people but......I have used Zydot for a random drug test (smoked the night before) and I passed. To be safe order the bigger bottle or drink 1 1/2 of the regular bottles. Do not use pill form of anything it doesn't work as well. That being said - I am abstaining for a test and will have been clean for 30 days when I test - I am going to use the zydot them too just in case.....good luck to all!

This is very true, and length of abstainance to clean out will not be the same for everyone, as I have abstained for 8 weeks and 2 days (58 days) (it feels like forever), and the test line is still faint, and 2 days ago it could barely be seen, it was almost invisible, talk about depressed, but todays results is a faint line which compared to the control line I would have to say is only about 25% of the color of the control line and about 75% of the width of the control line, so to say the least it leaves alot to be desired at this point, and when compared to the other 4 in a 5 panel screen, surely would still prove to be a red flag.
Now I know what is being thought, that I have some bad test strips. NOT SO, I got my wife to do a sample (she does not partake at all) and her test line was just as bright and bold as the control line, and appeared immediately whereas my faint line may take up to 3 minutes to completely appear.
So, for all those who give the advise that someone will be clean after 30 days
or for that matter after 6 weeks of abstaining will automatically be clean, should be cautioned, because their advise may help someone fail their test.
Now we must keep in mind there are alot of factors in which have to be considered and everyones situation is unique, and when you consider my intake over the length of time, combined with a fair amount of body fat it would not be uncommon for the cleansing period to easily exceed 60 days.
Even though I have read that even a faint line on the test line will pass, I will hold out for certainty.
And besides, I am really looking forward to burning that big fat one once my objective has been met, and then seeing how long it takes for that to erase all that it took so long to achieve:dance:

I smoke cannabis occasionally, and got caught with a post-accident drug screen test... My employers were very insensitive; the day of my accident was when my father was having MAJOR bypass surgery, and I had to be there for him, because he is my freakin' father- I waited 2 hours, and left, called the office before I left, no answer, so left a message saying I would return tomorrow to test, and they fired me on the spot.
I can understand scrutiny, but I was a very hardworking and responsible person, and never gave ANYONE a reason to doubt that I was drug free. I guess it's nothing but calculated objective shit I was dealing with from the company.
Keep us notified on the progress, Paradise! Hang in there!
