just a growing tip

hello people,

only recently found out that my boss grows ALOT of weed, i dont know how i didnt realise it before, u can smell it a mile away! Anyway he showed me his ever-so-proud of crop and he told me something that has proved to be very useful. However i want to aplogise in advance because i know alot of you on here are experiencied growers and i am only just starting out, and you might already know this. But if you dont, id like to think that i have passed a bit of my wisdom around the world. Anyway, sorry, i like to go on. He showed me a kind of before and after plant.

One plant he had growed the traditional way, in confinement with lights etc, but the other however, which was significantly bigger, more smell, and LOADS of bigger buds. He told me that the trick was, that he watered them occasionally with Coca Cola. Not pespi, DR.Pepper, or any of the rip-offs, not even Diet Coke. Just plain old coke. And guys i mean it when i say the difference was unbelievable!

Anyway my times up, i hope this comes in useful, and sorry if you already knew, let me know how it goes growers!

There's a practical reason that could work in theory. Sugar is good for biomass. So is CO2. Both are present in Coke.

But I still think your boss might be pulling your leg!

Actually, I poured a little bit of Coke into my plantpot because I didnt want the rest and couldnt be arsed with keeping it. I thought 'what the hell, Ive got like 100 more seeds anyway'. This was at day 20 if I remember correctly, and done on a Lowryder. I didnt notice anything good or bad for it, but it was only about 50ml done once.
Oh, and CO2 isnt good for the roots, oxygen is :)

OK then, Ill try it with one of my Lows. Ive got 6 of the buggers just sprouted anyway, and two sets of twins (so four plants in two pots). Im going to experiment with one of the twin pots and see how it goes.

How much do you guys reckon I should feed her? 100ml each day? Tell ya what, Ill do it on both sets of twins. One will have 50ml of coke per day, and the other will have 150ml.

i'm usually not the paranoid dude, but this laurading dude seems like some type of cop or something... he's creepin me out man...

I was talking to a friend of mine from denmark and he says that coke will probably make it grow faster but the quality sucks...I dunno if its true but I just thought I'd share? (:

CO2 exists as a gas at room temperature. If your soil is as light as it should be, it should escape to the atmosphere where it is available to plants.
But I wouldn't use carbonated beverages on my plants because the pH is very low (Carbonic acid) until the C all comes out of solution.
I never said CO2 was good for roots!

I would think that would atract ant's Ect.
