Well I've got about 30 bones to spend and want just a portable glass piece to carry around or what not. I know prices vary depending on where you live (I'm in FL), but what kinda piece can I expect to get for around that much? Pics are welcome too, heh.

Well different places have different prices as u know. If you go the internet route u could be paying a little extra for something good, but any regular head shop u should do just fine in getting what u need for 30 dollars. You wont have the option to pick from every piece you see there but u will be able to get a very good quality pipe for 30 dollars at most smoke shops Make sure to post the picture of it once u get it. you'll get a decent piece. i can get a nice solid double blown glass pipe around here for 30.
Yeah, some places are more pricey than others, but I have gotton some cool ass pieces for 30 bucks. You should be able to pick something nice.
eh, from my experience, nothing TOO nice. Good pipes here go for around 40-60. Bongs are way overpriced here too.. fucking sucks!!

I picked up a glass pipe for $10 but I didn't like it because the holes were too small which made it a bitch to scrape, and the glass was pretty thin. I broke it trying to scrape through the carb using a paper-clip. I tried to push against the side of the carb to get leverage while scraping and a chunk just chipped off. I went and got another one, this time a $16 one. This one is really nice, glass is thick, good sized carb and hole in the bowl, and really big mouth hole for easy scraping and fat hits. As a bonus after I smoked the first ounce through it it colored up way more than i thought it would. It went from ghey translucent pinkish to charcoal-blue.
You can get A pretty good pipe but i'd get A cheap bong, way more effecent and is easer on the health, pipes are more for on the go if you use them often it's not good because the smoke in unfiltered like even with A joint the smoke travles through the rest of the joint before you inhale it thus filtering it.
Dude if you tell the guy at the smoke shop that wou just woke up and grabbed your keys and a small wad of cash (like $40-50), most of the time
A) You don't get IDed
B) You get the pipe you want if you give him all your cash

If you see the one in the pic I posted, that was 60 but I only had 40 on me, so I paid 40 (and the guy put it right in his posket, lol)... if you want one that's smaller and easily hidden you'd get off for like $10-20
