ok so my mom has agreed to have a discussion about weed with me. She always blasts me with "Its illegal for a reason!" ""It kills your brain cells!" typical gay parent shit like that.

I could really use some "ammo" for our dicsussion. I want to try and lighten her up about weed. Please People, gimme all you got, this could possibly change my moms mind! I could use some topics about how weed is a positive substance and its effects on the body (no long-term effects I do beleive). Im talking like well-known studies and shit. Even links will help. Please and thank you to my fellow tokers!

But now that I understand what's up, keep in mind that some people's minds can never be changed. All the evidence and research on the subject may not be enough, but pressing the point will piss her off.

There was a special on History channel the other night about Marijuana. VERY informative and this "could" be some of the ammo your looking for. Try a google search.....she may be suprised that this was the "drug" of choice used by possibly her parents or grandparents.

Make sure you tell her that if in the event you are an avid user and your whole day revolves around it, your demotivated and nothing else that consumes your day will ever be the same considering you stop doing it for your obsession with marijuana.Not like if any of that was true I would expect you to admit it anyway.

Also although it is illegal for a reason and your mom whole heartely agrees to let you do it I bet you won't make sure she understands how many fines, and court dates, and not to mention the costs for those court dates could burden her life.Not to mention the money flying out her pocket.

Other drugs like LSD and other hard drugs trigger a response in a certain section of the brain (can't remeber right now) that leads to addiction. Cannibinoids do not trigger that section of the brain.

You can educate yourself and your parents about this but, as long as you are living under their roof, they still have the final say in the matter.

I don't think that anybody that is young enough to be "grounded", as you are according to another thread you posted, should be using the stuff. Even the most pro-pot organizations and knowledgable individuals believe that it's use should be limited to adults.

However, if you move out on your own you'll be able to do as you please.
