Worth the risk?

Ok so I just got caught and am grounded for a few more days. My mom admitted to me that she didnt know what to do with me since Im her first kid to try weed. What made me mad was her trying to act like she knows more about weed that me by getting all this b-s info off the internet that says I am an addict. I so desperately want to show her the harmless ways of my weed smoking, but I fear getting kicked out or more trouble. I know Im gonna keep smoking after this whole situation cools down, but I just wish I could explain why weed is good rather than get caught again and really hurt my mom. Any advice?:(

I know exactly what you mean...well not with my mom and all but if my dad found out I would have the same issues. Just brush it off and keep smoking :D.

Yeah, just get all the pro's about weed smoking and show it to her. Make her read every inch of detail on that paper you print out. Let her be informed that it isn't bad like everyone that doesn't smoke it makes it out to be. She should reconsider after she reads the info.

Like everyone else said look for the positive facts, theres alot to choose from. Then print them out and leave it for her to look though, even if it dont work you would still put her in her place and prove that there is nothing wrong with nature. Hope things work out for you

Jost go buy a bag of that most bomb ass dank you can find and just confront her on your back porch or something with a pipe, joint, bong, whatever. Then tell her, "Hey, I'm gonna smoke this; and you can be cool and do it with me, or be a conformist, who is afraid of change."
I do not recommend that you try this, I don't think it would work. Just pretend that you actually do that, it only works two ways; you either get stoned with your parents our get into a bunch of trouble.

i have the exact same situation. i think i might write my mom an essay since she is a teacher and if i do something like that she might accually read it. i think you might just ahve to break your mom in since you said you are the first son to smoke weed. one of my friend's brothers was a first child and i remember being there when she found his bong and a whole bunch of weed, and always had problems with him, then there was another brother that did it, then another, and thne finaly my friend. now her mom smokes joints with her kids and whne the first kid came back (he moved far away) he was like "wtf?!". true story.

just do something you mom would give you respect for and let her know you dont intend on quiting

the things people will do for weed. hey id do them too!
it would suck to have parents like that, i personally cannot relate because my parents are totally cool with it..
things you cuold do is try to reason with her, if not, she's just being an asshole..
or you can find some faults in her and make her pay for it. ie. drinking, smoking
just find something you can pin on her.. seems to work for me in situations like these

Orangeman that was sweet of you to take the time to post those links for him,maybe this board DOES need a "younger" Mod:thumbsup: I know I forget how it is to be young sometimes but you don't act immature..you give sound advice..parents "listen" better when confronted with facts than what they view as rebellion & uncontrolled teens.

are there any websties that have pros from pot that arent directly from pot sites. when i showed my mom arijuana mythes she was thats just bs from a stoner website.

That's hard to say because every single site that hasn't been from pot sites, they were all biased in some way.
