Digital Cameras

I was wondering what cameras you guys use? Im trying to buy one and i want one that can zoom in and take close-up well DEFINED pics...so how many megapixels do i want?

What do you recomend?

Well I myself have a decent 5 megapixel one, but if you're looking for details, unfortunately, that means it's gonna cost more. I'd say try looking at maybe an 8 mpxls and see if you like those prices. Basically, it all comes down to how much your willing to shell out for the desired detail and quality.

i had a cannon powershot 110. it was about the size of my cell phone and took awesome pictures. then someone stole it.

It depends what you're using the pictures for. If it's just for taking pics of random shit and friends / family, a 5 mpxl camera usually does the trick. If you just want more detail in your photos for whatever reason, step up the mpxls, and trust me, it's worth it if you REALLY want quality. Happy shopping.

I don't know if you got a Wal*Mart around you cause they have a 3 month return policy and if you don't like the cam return it aND ge another... They carry Fugi Cannon Sony and the like...

i got a 5.0 megapixal casio. shits pretty good, you gotta work with it though

get something 5.0 or higher. just spend $200 and u'll get what you need!

I just bought a Sony Cybershot 6.0 megapixel camera today. I used to have a Kodak EasyShare 3.1 mp, but my friend dropped it and broke the battery compartment door off of it.. fixable, yes, but I was ready for a new camera anyways. The Kodak was a good one, for sure.

But the Sony, I haven't had it out anywhere to take pics, but just from messing around with it, it's pretty awesome. Very small and compact, the pictures I have taken have been awesome clarity. Has a 2.5 inch LCD screen, which is huge for a dig. camera.. very nice. Good zoom, lots of different features.. takes movies with sound. About 7-8 different camera settings (low light, beach, scenery, etc). I paid $249 for it. I also bought a 1 gig memory card, which was around $59. So basically I can take around 600 pics on the highest resolution and almost 1,000 on a 2 megapixel setting. It's great.
