Is this pot???

hey my friend found some marijuana looking plant growing in his backyard. I'm not sure if it's cannabis and if it is it's probly just ditch weed. Here's a pic.

Cant really tell from the pic. Its the same shape as a MJ leaf, but I cant see if its got the serrated edges. Smoke it and see (you wont get high, but you might be able to taste it if its dry, and youll be able to smell it aswell).

I would have to say no

crumple it up and smell it. if you know what pot smells like you should get a nice smell out of the leaf

it has to have sarated edges to be cannabis right?

Do the edges of the leaf have a serrated look? If not, I definitely know it's not pot. Also, I think it's rare for it to just grow wild like that (especially in the US) without proper care and whatnot. I could be wrong though.

I have seen these type of leaves out in my friends back yard a while ago, im not sure what type of plant its from but it wasent from a cannabis plant

ok well its not pot then but the plant grows in the same arangment as a pot plant does. but i forgot about the serated edge rule.

I know that Japanese maple leaves look like pot leaves, but they have a slightly different leaf structure than that.

looks like it, but who cares its a fan leaf. not really useful

haha in my town we have lots of that, we just call it foepot...

let it grow, but keep an eye out to see if it makes any buds! or pollen.

LOLz,,,I bought this plant at the Home Depot and put it in my Rock Garden... I just took these pic at night,they would show better if it were day...

the lighting is a bit shoddy, but it looks like herb. I don't know if you get it where you live but there is a plant called Marigold. Its sticky, and the leaves are strikingly similar to that of a sativa, the only difference really is that the Marigold produces large, yellow, sunflower-like flowers. Not to good if you confuse the two - smoking marigold can give you a headache for days.

Put something next to it so we can sow how big it is, and take a bigger pic.

im pretty sure it isnt, it looks like a house plant i've got in my living room!... a lot of plants and trees have the same leaf formation as cannabis...
