i wanted to know, what is the lowest level of addicition someone can have to cigarettes. like, if your not addicted enough to crave one every hour, what is the longest time you can go without having to have a cigarette?
im asking because my mom smokes and doesnt tell me or my sister, and i think she quit becuase she goes 6-8 hours without leaving the house. just wanted to know for sure
depnding on how stressed i am, i can go 3 hrs with minimal cravings. and if i fight my craving for half an hour, it will go away.
you can go a few days if your only mentally addicted though.
i dip now but when i did smoke i craved one pretty much every few hours and all the time if i was drunk or high. when i dip i crave one pretty much all the time.

P.S To get a HUGE and I mean HUGE head rush, drink like a cup of coffee, then like a half hr smoke a cig. Hit that bitch like crazy and my GOD you will actually get high from it, like you can bearly walk. Its like the first time you get a head rush.
I guess its different for everyone. I know a friend of mine only smokes about 5 cigs a day, but if he doesn't get his 5 cigs then he starts having a shit-fit. On the other hand his brother smokes a pack a day but when he's broke he can go weeks without smoking.

I smoke a cigarette every other day, sometimes one everyday. Sometimes I settle for something heavier like a black and mild or a Phillies.
Tobacco helps me to relax after work and calms me down. While I use cannabis for my back pain and to relieve stress.
I'm a casual smoker myself, and don't even think about one until that first toke of the day. When I drink, which isn't too often, I also want one. I never was even close to a pack a day, though it got up to about 10 a day for a very short while. Now it's been probably 2-3 weeks since my last one, and I rarely think about them now. I did just buy a pack for this weekend's festivities, but that's only b/c I'll be drinking a shitload and want one. Then when those are gone, no more for a while.
I'm kinda like you 420roundtheclock, where cigs kind of calm me down and let me just chat at some random person sitting next to me. It also has a lot to do with my hands. I just like my hands being occupied I guess, but that probably has something to do with my developing OCD... :D
Weird. I smoke heavily when im drunk or high, and maybe one or two a weekend when im with friends sober. never more, never addicted and ive been doing this for like five months. sure sometimes i have a little itch for one, but its not something that i think about for longer than 30 seconds.
