Can resin be scraped out of a one-hitter? Do you just use a paperclip to get it into a little ball? And how do you know when the resin is ready to be scraped out.
I was just curious. I'm also wondering what the point of a one-hitter is. Some of them look like cigarettes, but I mean the smell is pretty obvious in a public place, no? With a joint once you finish it it's gone, but with a one-hitter you have paraphernelia on you.
Hmm, Dunno If It was a bowl then You can scrape it, I guess if your able to go ahead. Smoke out of it atleast 25-30 times to get a nice size of resin to smoke. Paper clips would work fine. If thats that you want to use, Me I used a knife for the botom of my pipe. And a small pin for the bowl to scrape around the threads. And a zig zag to clean out the liquid resin on the base ( part that you hold) Hope this helped you.

I think I know what you are talking about and they look like regualre smoked and you fill it with weed. Maybe Im wrong I just woke up.

take a wire clothes-hanger. bend the hook so its straight, then stick it all the way through. works like a charm.
has anyone else used a bong stem as a one hitter? just curious

I find hair pin ends work great, and for onies, you can use the end of a sucker, put a little weed on the end of it and push it threw so that way the res dosen't slip and end up as a streak all over your sucker end, thus ruining ur chances.
Every time my cigarette hitter gets clogged, which is like every 3 days, I just unfold a small paper clip, straighten it out, and stick 'er in and pull it through. Always cleans it out really well. Just make sure you have some tissues nearby unless you love resin on your hands. Gross. Resin is gross, period, so skip that whole "smoking resin" step and get a bag of weed. Not resin.

BUT, all resin consists of is all those nasty carcinogens that you burn away when your smoking, then later, if your dense enough, you smoke those harmful substances. Thus, actually hurting your lungs. Smoke away though.... *rollseyes*
desperate times call for desperate measures...save your resin for someday you may need it. my friend an i got a broken piece that was full of resin from this kid we knew. we probly smoked it at least 20 different times whenever we were to broke to buy weed. we would scrape it with a key or a knife an put it in a metal bowl which we reserved for smoking resin out of. the only down side is it makes your mouth taste like ass and is a little rough on the lungs
Res is fourty times easy to scrape if you quickly heat it up before you scrape it, you can get all if off with you finger on some bowls.
As for tools, i like razors personally they get all of it off bowls easy and thay have a sharp tip for small areas and threads.
Dude, res rocks you are smokin carcinogens period and inhaling them all the time. Unless you want to fucking smug it in my face and tell me you got a vaporizor you should drop that attitude and accept the desperete stoner antics.
I never said inhaling weed itself was safe, but it's FAR less dangerous than inhaling straight resin. It's got a lot less of those carcinogens, plus if you exhale a few seconds after you inhale, hardly any of that shit stays in your lungs. 98% of the THC is absorbed instantly, so there's no need to hold all those nasty fumes in. Unless you want to smoke resin.
There's a difference b/t "attitude" and being educated. Might want to pick up a book or two, that's all.
Alright now im not going to argue anymore but i am an avid fan of o'ing a hit (holding it in till no smoke is left) and smoking res in desperate times. I am positive i get more fucked up off O'ing for I have done test with the same weed on two different occasions.
Now I can see res having more harmful shit in it but not more then i breath on a daily basis.
What does anyone else think of O'ing?
There's been a ton of threads on this, and it's been proven that it's worse for you to hold it in, while it also doesn't get you higher. Like I said, 98% of the THC is absorbed within seconds of inhaling it, so the longer you hold it in, the more tar and resin coats your lungs. You thinking your higher is strictly a mental thing.
