Has anyone ever used one? I know how to make one thanks to www.waytoomany.com but how effective are they? does it prevent smoke from escaping? ive also heard that the chemicals in light bulbs can be extremely harmful yet i see the guy in the video eliminate the white film in the bulb with salt. if anyone can give me a rundown on vaporizers i would appreciate it. ill prolly make one soon but lemme know wut i should do and describe how it exactly works when it "vaporizes" the weed. thanks:rasta:
yea its great if you do it right. but if you hold it too close to the flame, then it just SUCKS. and make sure you clean that fucking thing GOOD.
is it like regular smoke that comes out or some weird ass vapors or sumthin? and is it true about the light-bulb's toxic film and shit?
I did it and it was terrible. My friend spent like an hour trying to make it perfectly air tight and shit. It just fucking sucked and made me feel shitty. fucking lame, just smoke a bowl or bye a volcano or something,

I made one. Broke it, before i could use it. Made another one and i never got around to using it before I threw it away......Maybe one day ill try it.
FYI- bulbs are designed for smoking meth.
edit--the way u smoke it when it's air-tight is to stick a tube inside the mouthpiece and suck the tube.
Dude, ditch the lightbulb vaporizer idea. Its a pain in the ass to use, that is if you can even get it to work right. It tastes horrible, and most of all... it looks like you are smoking fucking ICE. Soooo trashy, roll yourself a joint.
Man Vaps are awsome if you use them the right way and at the right time. I made one out of a lightbulb acording to the same website he reffered to, waytoomany.com. However, to be extra safe, i recomend filling the bulb with water and a little soap and a rinsing it many times. Then let it sit in the sun and dry out. (dont put heat directly on it to dry it faster. You will crack the bulb.) if you watched the whole video on the early mentioned website, youd see that there was two holes in the cap on the light bulb, one for sucking and one for air to come in.
My experience from using them is that you use a very small amount of weed and get very high. I was able to get high on 6 ot 7 different occasions with only 1 gram of merch. i think i way of been burning them the weed a little too much by holding the flame close, but i was still able to get just as high.
The light bulb vape is a cheap way to conserve weed. But it seems like its better to use for a solo high. If your with a group of friends, and they're used to smoking therw way, they probaly will think its dumb and a waste of time before they even try it. Just make one and try it out a few times and see if you like it.
okay! well. wash the bulb with salt water vigorousley until there is absolutley no white powder. screw on a soda cap and punch two holes in the cap. insert two straws or hollow pens or whatever(tubes) into the two holes. dont stick them too deep in, either. you keep your finger over both of the tubes and hold it about 2 inches above a CANDEL becuase holding a lighter on for longer than 1 minute is dangerous. it might take 3 or 4 minutes, but you'll begin to see a very slight swirly vapor appearing in the bulb. DONT WAIT for the vapors to fill it up, just put your mouth on one tube, and take your finger off the other. suck LIGHTLY, while keeping the bottom of the bulb at the same distance from the flame.
if done correclty, you will be able to see the vapors literally coming right out of the bud and you'll be getting nice, tasty hits.
i promise you, the lightbulb vape can be AWESOME and it can suck too
its really all in your patience

i made one, and blazed on my couch with my mom upstairs sleeping :D no smell ad it produces a really nice sativa-like high. but then i stepped on it and it broke :( gotta make a new one..
do the vapors from a vaporizer go stale after a while like the smoke in a bong chamber if you leave it in there too long?
When me and a few friends did that with a lightbulb the weed smelt like somewhat of a shitty smelly corn.
so its safe to smoke out of the lightbulb after you've swished out the white paint stuff or w/e that is with salt
and i think they work great if you cant smell like it, i.e at home
just use a tube from the T.P. and stuff that with like freshener cloth things and
blow through it just to be safe there is no weird smell
