First time gettin dog high (LOL)

Well I was going out in the back of my garden to check to see how my plants were doing. They are doing just well, seem to have grow alot since it rained alot like 2 days ago. Anyways as I was happy my plants were progressing I lit a joint on my way back in the house. On my way in I see my next door neighbors dog and I decided "hey..I can get this dog high!". So I took big loads and blew it in his face. At first it didnt seem like he liked it. First he came close to see what I was doing and I blew the smoke in his face. He looked mad so I backed up cuz I thought he was gonna hop the fence and kill me xD. Anyways he took a deep exhale out his nose because I guess the smoke wasnt somethin he liked. He left and came back and I blew another heavy load in his face. Now he quickly takes his paws and head and really fast put it on the ground then he starts running left then right then left again and he kept doing it. I didnt know what was up cuz I didnt think animals got high that fast. So anyways he's running in a loop, running left and right and jumping while doing it. He never does this xD, so now he runs back to his dog house bumping into shit and knocking shit over. I couldnt help it, it was so funny I had to laugh. I ended up in the grass from laughing so hard xD. So he brings back this yellow strip from a ball that he just ripped out and tosses it over the gate. I guess he wants to play catch, so I throw it back over and before it even hits the ground he grabs it with his mouth and starts shaking his head with it and tearing it to shreads. Then he goes and eats all his shit out of his bowl xD. Omfg tell me that weed didnt hit the dog that fast because it was hillarious and the dog was tripped out, I'm still high from that shit and it's so fuckin funny to think back to when he was trippin ROFL!

That sounds just like normal playful dog behavior to me, not a high dog.

People ought not to try and get animals high. And Orangeman, you were the one telling the story just a few days ago about the neighborhood lady who hurts cats, which she shouldn't have been doing. How's hurting a cat any different from trying to get a dog high? It's still doing something that's potentially harmful to the animal that they don't have a choice about.

Animals rely on us to do what's right by them. You make the choice about whether or not to get high. But dogs don't have that same ability. In that regard, they're like young children or babies. You wouldn't try and get a baby high, would you?

I realize here that you yourself are a youngster. But think about it next time and save your smoke for yourself.

No, you dont know this dog. Thats a young dogs playful behavior but this dog isnt the playful type. It's always mean, grouchy and it hates everything. It was laying down resting before I came out. It was still dull until I gave it some bud smoke xD. You should've seen it.

underlined: feeding a cat poisoned tuna, and smoking the dog out, completeley different. getting a dog (or any other animal) high on cannabis is safe. find me any documented material that prooves otherwise, and i'll be quiet, but intill then i wont. oarngeman did not give the dog dope, acid, or anything else, he gave the dog a puff or two of cannabis, which in his bodily structure is less harmfull than salmon blood. and as far as "...its still doing something that is potentially harmful..." so is giving the dog flea medication monthly. dont beleive me, google long term affects of flea medications, and you'll be shocked at what info you find.

"you wouldnt try to get a baby high would you?" once again, you are comparing a dog, to a baby. apples and oarnges. of course he wouldnt try to get a baby high, but you wouldnt pat a baby on the head like you would a dog, would you? and you sure as hell wouldnt make the baby sleep outside for peeing on the carpet.

my point is, i see what you are saying, that we have to take the innitiative to take care of our animals and make the right choice for them, because i do agree with you, they cannot make thier own decisions on getting high, but they cant make up their own mind when moving to a new place as well. BUT, smoking a dog out isnt going to kill him. and as long as he is still waggin (livin) his tail at the end of the day, then hey, what are ya gunna say?

p.s. i would at least stick to getting your own animals high, and not your neighbors

I never practiced a single day of law afterwards, however. I didn't seem to have the talent or aptitude for being a bully that that profession requires. Still, I guess I may sometimes still think like a lawyer even if I never worked as one.

and yeah, i have a biased opinion because my cat loves getting high, he actually "sips" up the smoke coming off my bowl. he really sniffs it, but i call it sips cuz he licks his lips after and it looks like he just took a sip of soda. lol

my dog loves to get high. i dunno how it started(wasnt with me), but i know she does. so ill blow smoke by her face(not making contact), and that way she can get what she wants.

and i dont smoke her out alot. i barely see her cause shes at my dads.

OK, since we've got this nice dog-friendly thing going here, and since I love both of you guys, Orangeman and WakeNVap, I'll tell you my story. When I first got some weed on board for my sister to smoke, I fortunately was able to get some good, very fragrant 'dro. She'd tried the lower quality kind, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference in her symptoms from the chemo.

A very kind friend helped locate a strain called called juicy fruit. Very fragrant and sweet. And one of our dogs, a Chihuahua, just went NUTS if I even pulled the bag out, much less opened it. This dog doesn't need much help going crazy as it is. She's a nutball in just her normal condition. But man, if I opened up the juicy fruit, she was right there, jumping in my lap, dancing around. First she stole a stem off the rolling tray. Then one day when I was attempting to roll a J, she ran up with her little pointy snout and stole a whole little bud and ate that!!! She ran around with it in her mouth for a while, but I couldn't get it back.

In this case, I suppose it WAS her choice. The little thief! I didn't ask her to come steal it. But I learned my lesson. I'm not wasting high-quality bud on a little Mexican dog, especially when there's someone here who really needs it.

So I know how these things happen sometimes. We could never tell if she showed any effects from the nug she ate. It didn't make her any more crazy than she usually is. But after that, I always locked her in her crate when the juicy fruit came out. Maybe her interest in weed is because she's a Mexican dog????

ok i have a pit bull, named pete. pete loves cannabis. i mean really loves it. he will smoke with you but for some reason he prefers to eat it. when i take off all my big fan leaves. i go throw them outside in the back yard. then pete crawls out from his dog house and starts eating them up. if im outside burning a joint pete just kinda hangs around. then when i toss the roach. he walks over , rubs it in the ground with his paw. then he eats it. i caught on to this and started outing the roaches. the i call him over. i hold the roach down to his head. he will sniff it(i think its how he checks to see if its out) then he eats it. he seems to really love it. ive seen him eat 3 or 4 big handfuls of leaves. so needless to say i dont leave my bag laying around pete. hes really the best dog ive ever seen. so well tempered, lets all kids climb on him or what ever. never seen him even look twice at a kid. some adults are another matter, but thats not always a bad thing. :thumbsup:

Im trying to think of a good system to get a dog really high using a Peppridge Farm Goldfish bag, some tinfoil, and a lighter, im making good progress.

You know, there's been times when I've been smoking and the bugs start acting crazy and I begin to wonder if I'm getting the bugs high. :]

I thought Id add my story to this aswell.
We have a cat named Chloe. Now shes a fat, fat cat. Last time we weighed her, she was 14 pounds (just over a stone). She used to get stoned with my sisters ex all the time because she would hotbox the flat and Chloe would be inside it. Well, they broke up and my sister took the cat because her ex didnt want it anymore. Now whenever me and Ben pick up and come back to my place, Chloe just seems to know and follows us upstairs and sits on the bed, watching us pull out the bag. She will bite it, she will play with it, and she will sniff it. But she hates it when you blow smoke her way so she can enjoy the fruits aswell. Does anyone know why this is?

possibly becuase its too much smoke for her? think about it, humans are much bigger tahn cats and dogs, so the smoke we inhale/exhale are mega crucial hits for them.

Ok, well I lied. I just got the neighborhood cat that follows me high and omfg I started laughing organs. When I said it's name it started looking around with it's mouth open. OMfg it was like a fake cat in a movie. He started going in circles then stood up on his hind legs and scratched it self like a small dog. It started running in the field and eating grass and looking around like nothing was wrong with it xD! The dog that I got high was barking and the cat didnt seem to get scared, it just kept eating grass xD.

Here's my story,
Some jerk shot my dog while we were hiking. It wasn't a bad wound, the bullet passed under the skin. He had to get some stitches and was really sore the next day. I'm a medical marijuana patient in Cali. I felt
bad for for my buddy so I got some liquid cannabis for him (and me).
You rub a little of this stuff under the gums , tongue and hold it in your mouth for a second. I found it worked pretty good for me, so why not for
me pup? He seemed to enjoy it. It took away his pain. He didn't limp when
he was high. It seemed to mellow him out a bit too. He's a 90lb pitbull w/ a good nature, but lotsa energy. He would go and sit in the garden, like a statue and just kinda look around w/ droopy ears and eyes. He slept really good too.
I've got a chihuaha that loves to drink black russians too.., but that's another story.

I have a little puppy that's always playful and stuff, but I fed it like .4g wrapped up in turkey like 15min ago now she's like falling over and chewing on her own foot. lmao

sounds like fun but the bad thing about it is that it fucks up the dogs nose, i read about it a few weeks ago, poor doggy

dude I'm hella high right now, and my dogs are telling me they want to go get high... they've watched me for the last 2 days and I've blown a hit at them, with them showing some curiosity... now they're here licking my fingers after I touch shake and stuff... I tried to feed them little nugs and one of them would delicately take it in her teeth, while the other would just eat it... Ima go get them high, I'll post when I'm back
