hmmm...wish i could help, but i have NO experience w/ cooking with weed. i do know a recipe though:
weed ramen:
you need:
your herbage
pack of ramen
pile of butter 1 1/2 to 2 times the size of your weed pile
boil water, butter, and weed in a pot/pan/w/e u call it for as long as you can or until the weed turns brown-ish.
strain if desired
cook as you would normal ramen
eat it and have fun!!!
I like to cook with a 1/4 of bud, around 1/2 a pound of butter (you can use more or less butter, I just eye ball it). Melt the butter into a frying or sauce pan on low heat and add the ground up bud. Simmer until the butter gets greenish and there's a noticeable aroma (maybe 10-15 minutes or so?). Then you can either strain the weed or put it in, whatever you want. I add the butter to a dry brownie mix.. betty crocker I think. And bake it normally. Then I put some delicious icing on and most of the time you can barely taste the bud but you still get really nice and stoned and there's always bud butter left for next time. Freeze it. Works everytime I do it.
i know a goood recipe and u dont really smell it so easy with parents around just cook some noodles of and kind then get ragu sauce(marinaria or traditional) and the really grind up some bud and put it in the sauce after its warm and sprinkle some on however much u want it looks like oregeno it tastes soooo good.

you yourself would be messed up by an 1/8. to be honest, that may be more than you need. it's a great high so i'd highly encourage it. make sure that you have time to air out where you cook it if you live with your parents or whatever.

grind up and sprinkle in a yogurt. handy and delicius. throw in as much as you for a pipe.
all i know is when your cookinh with weed you need a lot of it........

You said it takes you 1/2 gram of weed to get baked. So cook with 6 grams of weed and you'll be fine. You can add more if you want, but baking too much can waste your weed.
