To the brothers of the 101... this next toke is for you! I salute you.
What no interest? Two brothers of the 101 are missing in action! You know, in IraqNam.
I didn't hear about that.
What happened?
My thought are with you foot soldiers.
They were found beheaded today. R.I.P. troops.
ah man.
Damn Musslums.(spelling) It's gotta be the most ass backwards religion in history.
Next to Mormons.lol
I wish they would all disapear of the face of the earth.
Especially these stupid fucks from Irag and Iran!
We are dealing with roaches and cannibals here. It's going to get worse, before it gets better. Troops of the 101 take many vows and pledges when they put on their jump boots: one of which is, Nobody left behind!...this time!
WHen you go to someones house with a gun.. there is a chance they will cut your head off with a spoon...
Knocking on heaven's door, is the mission they have been given. They don't fear the reaper, but they hope they don't cross his path......Quote:

ummmmmm.... your story maybe true.. and for sure there is more to it...
Like... Why are boys fighting boys in the desert?
How about the poeple who kill.. imagine the pain they are in.. Imagine dropping bombs from thirty thousand feet for 5 years straight.. killing men, woman and children.. bombing hospitals, orphanges , and peoples homes...
and then having to move back to Nebraska and raise your own KIDS... and live with yourself.. sounds like HELL. if you ask me..
It is hell.. and many of the people doing it dont have much of a choice.. if they didnt drop the bombs our government would put them in jail and then they couldnt raise kids in nebraska.. you cant exactly choose not to you know.. and if they were like me they joined before 9/11 and had no idea what was in store. Keep supporting the troops guys.. its not them that you are after. Its the suits in washington that make the decisions that screw everybody.. and I dont mean bush.. but if you have to... I understand.. just whatever you do dont blame the troops. They are doing so good over there.. and so much good for so many people. We found graves where millions of saudies were barried in an attempt at genocide by the insurgents against the serbs... MILLIONS of innocents murdered because they were the wrong religion.. thats what I think about when I sleep at night.. because as a Jew I can relate to what has happened there and the reason we must do what we are doing.
Im not trying to flame anybody but please.. if you really think in your heart what we are doing is wrong, please buy a plane ticket and go to Iraq and see for yourself.. It will probably be the most enlightening expierence you will ever have.. and well worth the ticket if you dont believe.
fuck man i dident think of it like thatQuote:

Well put Aaron. Knowm I'm not trying to start an online pissing contest over politics. whether you think we should be there or not be greatful for the men and women who are simply doing their jobs. Even better yet, let them know you appreciate it. http://www.americasupportsyou.mil/am...you/index.aspx
I've been to Pendalton and Camp Shelby to see my friends in the service before and after they deploy. Yes they are infantry and yes they have all killed other men. but they reconcile that with their own consience(sp?) because they have seen what it's like over there and they know if they don't do it it's just more men who are gonna die or themselves, and the longer this will all be dragged out. If you want an idea what it's like over the read this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/055...lance&n=283155
It's a real good book talks about the military aspect for a couple chapters then has a chapter talking about the politics at the time. Does that from April 2004 till about Jan. 2005. I wouldn't worry about the troops feeling bad about what they've done. They're all actually quite proud cause they can say they stood up for something and did the most selfless thing a human can do and that's put their lives on the line for a bunch of strangers both here and there. You may think they have a problem killing, and some do, but the majority doesn't. Think if you saw your best friend get shot in the face or blown up by a bomb, or even if someone just shot at you. don't you think you'd feel little or no remorse seeing those responsible for it be brought down???
WOW... this is the NICEST discussion about the war in WWW.COM history...
I don't think there is anybody to blame... I think we are all responsible.. I think each man is responsible for himself...
To recconcile the taking of anothers life... sounds extremely liberating... what else would be left... if you can forgive yourself for taking the life of another.. then you have achieved.. what very very few men have done..
The jouney inward even for the most noble and loving man is a journey of terror and hell... to reconcile one must go into the darkest corner of the mind... and slay HIM... slay him by doing NOTHING but watching HIM (the mind)
Very very few people have ever reconciled ANYTHING... there are stories of murderers on death row... and minutes before they get executed, it happens.. they find LOVE.. they reconcile
there are also stories of JEWS in concentration camps who love their captures as their own brothers and through this ultimate LOVE. they reconcile ALL with the world and ACHIEVE LOVE... GOD...
there are stories of armenians marching in the desert naked.. being raped repeatedly and finally achieving NIRVANA by not blaming anyone.. by not fighting back.. by reconciling...
there is a practicing vipassana monk alive today.. she was raped more than 100 times... in 2 years... she was raped into enlightenment.. finaly becoming aware .. finaly reconciling..
i really doubt that soldiers in the field have come to terms with their ACTIONS. the pain will be long and take many lives... possibly thousands to overcome...
if you wish to see this for yourself.. you to can sit still, react to nothing and go inward... it is all inside...
: )
finally i say.. live by this rule.. never ask somebody to do, what you are not willing to do yourself.. whether it be to suck the planet dry of all its BLOOD, to slaughter cows by the 10's of millions, to kill woman and children, to force chickens to live there entire life held in one place producing eggs, these are all things that we ask our fellow man to do...
It is not the religion that needs to go away it, is the people.
Garden, if you dont mind me asking, what religion are you?

I'm also half Jewish.
So I get a little pissed at what the Musslims are doing.
But your right it's not the religion it's the people.
There are crazy christians too.lol
I've always supported the troops.
And as far as the war.
I don't think could have been avoided.
I think if we would have ignored the problem.
Things could be alot worse then they are now.
I am not on the side of war.
But I don't think it can be avoided in this type of situation.
If it was H:p itler instead of Osama would you still care if he died.

You're right knowm this is the nicest discussion EVER!! Well if you go back in time the first terrorist were muslims. The hashshashin led by Hasan ibn-al-Sabbah. Here's a brief history http://www.skewsme.com/assassin.html
It seems like terrorist today are just repeating history. True not all muslims are bad people and the terrorist represent a radical few. But isn't it strange how if you look at almost every major hostage situation, hi-jacking, or what have you it's almost always been muslims. sure you have crazy christians(Davidian Branch-Waco which is a discussion all on it's own) too or jews or anyone else but the majority of these attacks are always muslims. I could literally probably find hundreds of situations online. And don't forget about Russia's Iraq, Chechnya. They've been feuding there for the longest time and Chechnya is a Muslim country. that's where the IED came from basically, and Chechens were and still are going to Iraq to fight the U.S. And those are the people who took that whole Russian school in Beslan hostage and killed 344 people mostly children. And Palestein who's been fighting with Israel for how many years. Now I'm not saying muslims are to blame for all world problems, like i said these are a radical few, but why is it they seem to be the majority?? Thoughts??
: )
I recently saw an article on massive amounts of woman who were killed in the united states of america.. they were accused of being witches and affecting the weather and crop production... thousands of woman were killed..
i think the people who killed them were "christian" and maybe they were the worlds first terrorists..
I also read about a god that made it rain on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights straight.. weather modification.. sounds like terrorist activity to me also...
There were some "christians" ( i guess ? ) a coouple hundred years ago that went to AFRICA.. and grabed millions..... of people.. And then brought them to the North American Continent and forced them to work.. Not to mention, they were raped, beaten, and all around treated worse than animals at your local animal shelter are treated today.
I really don't think these people are christians.. Christians are good people.. that don't kill, that don't hate, that don't judge... Chirstians are accepting of the world and ALL their brothers and sisters.. Christians don't kill because they have faith that "GOD" will handle BUSINESS... Christians don't defend GOD.. for GOD needs NO defending.. GOD IS.. and to defend GOD is to NOT have FAITH... There maybe 1 or 2 christiansthat walk the planet... maybe you are a christian and I am blessed to be in your pressence... : )
i hope someday I am a christian... LOVING all beings...
iloveyou
Umm the muslim assassins go back to over 1,000 years ago. american's didn't do the things you talked about until a few hundred years ago and the whole point of america was freedom of religion so not everyone was a christian so i really don't get where you were going with that one knowm. I never said christians or anyone else was innocent. You take any group of people from any walk of life and there's going to be good people and bad people. That's just human nature
We must also look outside the "box" in which we live in...Ever thought why sooo many people hate us? There is evil that is disguised in all religions...
In many eyes...WE are terrorists.
People hate us because they sterotype and believe the news too much. Like I said in my last post in any walk of life there are good people and bad people. It's just not alot of people take the time to think about that or find out for themselves.
People hate Americans because we are big brother to them. If you cant stand being hated for being numero uno.. well.. I guess you make nuclear weapons like all the third world countries are doing now. It??s true that we are meeting the dawn of a new day but we are meeting it the best we can.
Some people in our country truly believe that we should allow terrorist attacks and that there should be no such punishment for these "religious acts". Some people think that as an American soldier in Iraq you would have a problem with bringing justice to such a terrible sector of human existence that we have all turned a blind eye to for far too long. Some people think that we should not own guns so that we can not protect ourselves. This way you can easily be killed or raped 1000 times which is the only way you are going to gain enlightened from the experience. There is no ??enlightenment? in fighting back is there?
I say: BULLSHIT!
Police kill people and get killed every day. In fact, I would say that there are far more bad cops then there are bad soldiers. So in the reasoning that it is bad to kill people and get killed by people, there should be no cops anywhere! Complete and total anarchy is the right answer?
NO..
Killing people and dying aren??t on the top of my list of favorite activities but I have done one and inevitably will do the other one day as well. In the essence of the other sides?? argument I do believe that any congressman that makes a decision to send this country to war should at least stand a chance of getting an M-16 and a plane ticket to the front lines. It use to be to hold a government office (like congressman) you had to serve in the military.. today many of these rejects (politicians) that send our boys to their deaths have never even seen a war. Most refuse to go to Iraq now.. especially the lefties.
I was a vegetarian for 8 years because I didn??t like what had to happen to a cow for me to eat a cheeseburger.. I always buy ??cagefree? eggs.. I am a nice person and most the guys in the military are decent people. I did what I had to do to make the world a better place and so people with a different perspective on life could have that perspective without worrying about being ethnically cleansed.
So in the end.. I guess I can say that I ??reconciled? some terrorist ass and brought to them.. "enlightenment" and I??m proud of it!
Doorz.. I agree... with your post.. and i guess.. LOL... my point is.. that there are NO terrorist.. there are no christians.. there are no muslims.. its just people... just people.. there is no evil.. there is no good.. there are just people..... just people.. just people... it is JUST US... just me.. just you..
WOW Aaron.. very well said.. and I truly appreciate your insight... i usually
don't read long posts nor do I like to write them.. but yours was a pleasure to read... propoganda effects people all over the world.
I am guessing you are in Iraq?
cheers
POTHEAD.. yes many many peole do see AMERICA as a terrorist country... but we are just people... : )
Yes, we are...the fact that people don't recognize it, is the problem...
In other words..we are asleep...need to be awakened, and realize whats happening around us....
yea I dont like to write long posts.. it just kept growing and growing and growing.. like the real reason im on this board.. haha
I am no longer in the military. I served honorably for 6 years through afganistan and iraq and was then discharged after my contract was up under honorable conditions and I am now a college student.
Rock on Dude!Quote:

It would be nice.
But it's totally unrealistic. So smoke a joint and share it with someone from another religion.
The only thing I have to disagree with is how you said the lefties wont go to Iraq.
Shit the prez is barely even in Iraq. And he had a hand in starting this war.
Even the media has been going to iraq.
Anmd they are supposedly the most liberal people around.
Which I think is bull.
Repulicans are on TV too on the news.
I think they just say that so republicans wont believe anything on TV.
THe world just needs a hit of X.....
Well, I think the media is a bit to the left but throughout history the media has stayed by majority on the side of the minority..
My lefties statement did come off a little narrow sounding. To put it better.. The left side likes to look at the immidiate direct impact. They see great american kids leave to go over there and then come back in a box. Nobody likes to see that.. but you need to take into account what happens in between the two. The right side likes to focus more on the job that gets done in between and not count all those boxes as being so important after the job is done. Neither of these ideals are correct in and alone.. There has to be a ballance. In the same breath where you say you dont want to see americans coming home in a box you have to also think about the reason it is happening and why in the end it is so important.
We are not dealing with a non-aggressive third world country that meant to do us no harm.. we are dealing with people who want to kill us and will continue to do so. If we leave now and try to turn a blind eye to the problem again it will not be long untill the next attack on our soil. Everyone wants this war to be over.. except maybe Halliburton.. but oh well. hehe
I posted the toke message two days before the bad news. I swear to God, I didn't mean it as farewell toke.Quote:

The only thing more short sighted than the media are the people who watch the media...

do you not think they were trained to deal with that? especially as they were soldiers, you know, people who are trained for that situation, or did you forget that and think of them more as headless chickens?
