Animal cruelty

Well, we've been having stray cats around here for about a year now. Now I'm in my grandmothers neighborhood so you know old people likes to feed cats and shit. Well I guess the cats got used to all the care and shit from these people and I guess one person that lives around here just got sick of them and told my grandmother that she put antifreeze in the tunafish that she would give that cats...Now couldnt she just call some kinda place that can just come pick the cats up instead of her just instantly killing them? Some body might actually wanna get the cat when they see it, but no, she wants to kill the poor creatures. And I was wondering, what can be done to her for harming innocent creatures? Can I kill her? :D

She's just an old bitch that probably got sick of the cats being around. But that was wrong, she deserves to die. I'd like to see how she likes it if she went to a resturant and ate some food with PCP and shit in it :D.

I wish I knew how to get some anthrax so I could mail it to her :D.

Oman, call the cops/PETA/ASPCA and report her ass, if that don't work, call the local news and put her ass in some hot water with her fellow human beings/neighbors.... if you've ever watched Animal Planet you'll see that animal cruelty isn't just tollerated anymore, people actually do go to jail for that type of shit, and can even be banned from having pets of their own, and not just the species they harmed either...

depending on the state youre in, she could be fined or serve prison time for poisioning cats. You should report her at least. Death by poisioning is an agonizing death.

if you call someone they'll take care of it. I just told my mum the other day that I saw one of the neighbor kids smacking his dog on the head and to tell his mom but his mom didn't do anything about it so my mom went to the people in charge of that shit and they sent over a police officer to talk to the kid. I wonder what the police officer would have had to do if the kid was poisoning cats.

i once was outback shooting my bb gun (it was a replica of a .44 desert eagle by daisy, had real blow back action and looked real as fuck) when a cop came around to the back, apparently my idiot neighbor who hated me and my guns had called the cops on me because he 'thought' i was shooting my dog (YEA FUCKING RIGHT, i loved that dog, and cried for days when he died, i'm gonna shoot him, my fucking ass... my neighbor was an asshat) the cop came around saw the gun in my hand and pulled his... needless to say i was scared shitless, he threatened me with juvi, only leaving after i convinced him i wasn't shooting my dog and the neighbor just has a problem with me and would do anything to cause me problems.

I'd call the RSPCA, or whatever society you have over there that's involved in animal welfare. Report the woman for threatening to poison the cats, and ask if the society could come and take the cats away and re-home them.

I got a better solution. Kill the old people. They're the ones that started feeding the cats in the first place. Plus, most of them are slow and smell bad.

that would be the best thing to do IMO. if you do something to the old woman you run the risk of being arrested besides if shes old like you say she'll die soon anyways.

Funny aint it, you wouldn't think twice to lay down rat poison, and break the lil fuckers neck, with an oversized retractable bar, but a cute lil cats a different story.

Thats the problem with people. Feral cats are used to getting food on their own. When you start feeding them, they get used to it and will come around regularly because theat is what they've grown accustom to. When the person stops feeding them, they don't really know what to do for food since their old"hangouts" if you will, have already been overtaken by other animals who needed food. This leads to starvation possibly.

In my opinion, discuss calmly the situation with the old bag. If she refuses to see the light so to say, leave poisoned food on her doorstep. That will solve the problem.

i love animals with all my heart but i do believe in fixing feral cats and releasing them back into the neighborhood. the only problem is $$ and time and effort. where i am, the spca will collect the cats, once they are occupied (detained) in provided humane traps. the only thing is, the spca wont do anything intill the subjects are detained, and they wont fix and release the poor things. so, whenever i can, i locate feral female cats and cap/fix/release them. very expsensive, one female had complications during operation, and that cost'd a pretty penny

this matter should b delt with as soon as possible...

well first of all your word doesnt mean shit when it comes to actually prosecuting her for something like this. you would need proof in the form of video to actually get her in any trouble I would believe. Still reporting her to the cops and having them talk to her might be enough to make her stop.

Your first option is to call the local animal control beureu. They vary by state in terms of what they'll do. When I lived in New Jersey, animal control wouldn't do anything unless the animal was some sort of threat.

The antifreeze thing...it's bad but not as you all might think. Antifreeze actually has a 'sweet' taste to it and can be palatable when mixed with other things. Antifreeze is not known to metabolize in organic bodies. Instead, it kind of collects, slowly poisoning the organs around it and sending the organism into septic shock. This is to say that you shouldn't notice a rash of dead cats in your hood tomorrow. Over time though, they will eventually fall ill and die.

Definately report the person to the local animal control. Poisoning domesticated animals is not needed.

Stray cats do no good...especially around here. they can decimate the gamebird population and alot of wild native species.

I shoot any wild cats I see.
