i guess jesus man.. because isent he supposed to be everywhere? i mean.. if he was, he would always have a hell of a contact buzz.. lucky bastard.
Classic.
I would say but I don't want to be a name dropper.
Awwwww come on minnesota man, now you have to tell us!!
As for myself, no one that's well known. Theres a good local band, that if you live where I live you probaly know of them, and one night after one of their shows my buddy and me were smoking a joint and they got in on it...so no one really
Sorry dude. I thought we weren't supposed to use real names...I'll tell you it was at the Magic Castle in L.A. but that is it fo sho!
Aaron Kay (aka The Yippie Pieman) grabbed my girlfriends ass one time...ane we smoked with him at a Rainbow Gathering. The person that was pied in the second pic is Anita Bryant...The Fla.Orange Juice Lady
Not supposed to say names? People on here put pictures of them growing/smoking all the time! If cops were on here, they would have been busting people a long time ago...let us in on who it was!
Maybe later.
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, you can't get everyones hopes up and not say!
As long as you are willing to give them some free nuggage (like show the doorman the monster in your hand) famous people of the musical variety are almost always willing to toke it up.
A friend and I smoked 2 blunts, and a few bong hits with Kool Keith backstage at the Crystal Ballroom back in '99 during the "Black Elvis/Lost in Space" tour. I think he got too fucked up here in Portland, though. He performed most of the show in a freakin' space helmet, which was amusing at first, but started to suck after a while 'cos you couldn't hear a damn word he was saying. It's even more annoying now that I know even if I do ever see Kool Keith again, he will never be as good as he was back in the late 90's. :(
Oh well. I'll still always get to say that I smoked with the greatest rapper to ever leave his saliva on a microphone.
Ok so this isnt dark0ne... this is his friend Lauren.
My x boyfriend smoked a blunt with Method Man an Redman when they were in Boston promoting "How High?" It was cool...he got pix of them hittin the blunt an they gave him a free CD:rasta:
dennis peron, he wrote prop 215 legalizing medical marijuana

I have toked with less known, but known none-the-less, in the independent music scene. Poormans Whiskey, Todd Snider, Robert Earl Keen, Iris Dement, etc etc....
I gave a joint to Bob Weir(grateful dead) once, back in 1983, but didnt blaze it with him. He was on his way to the airport and was just finishing breakfast in Berkely California, and we were outside burning one. He didnt have time to stay and smoke, but he took one for the road.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I'm like jealous!!
really jealous
but your awesome daima!
Thats like my dream to smoke with James!!
I have seen both James and Kirk twice since. Here in San Francisco we have a place at Geary & Van Ness called, Tommys Joint. This is where the band likes to go have eat and have drinks. This is also the place that they told Jason that he was hired as their new bassist. As you know, Jason has moved on and is no longer with Metallica. Kirk likes to go to this little Bagel Shop down in the Marina Distric of San Francisco, close to where he lives. He looks nothing like he does on stage or in magazines. I have some really nice photos that my friend Laura(former ksjo radio personality)took of me and the band.Quote:

Lamont and Tenelli are now with the BONE(classic rock radio), in SF. Give'em a call and ask them about me. I havent talked to them in a while since i have been busy with my own music and other projects that i have going on, but they know me well.
I'm high and rambling. sorry. This thread just brought up some good memories for me.
Peace,

I was debating moving to San Fran when things work out
and now its official, muhahaha :D
I thought they all quit smoking tho
especially after all the rehab stuff
and I would like to see photos if you don't mind
and I don't mind rambling at all, metallica is my all time fav band, its always interesting to hear stories from people who met them
That's very cool, Daima.
Did you have a chance to converse with Willie when you smoked with him, or was it just a sort of perfunctory smoke?
I don't have any famous folks on my list--and frankly, very few non-famous ones, either. But I think Willie might be on my fantasy list of folks I'd like to smoke with. I'd like to ask him some questions about songwriting. Willie. Richard Gere. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn would be fun stoned, I'll bet.
Daima, aren't you yourself in reality a bit of a name?
woody harrleson when he was up here filimg a movie, my ma owned the co. that catored to the staffs massages and what not, but ya we hooked up and puffed, he bought a bag from me

I aint smoked with no 1 famous but ive smoked a joint with a couple UK rappers a while back thats it rly
I dont really like the band, but i watched a concert of Incubus with my friends once...
After the show, we had a "Meet & Greet" ticket thing. So we met up with the band and took sum pictures...
While that was happening, i saw one of the dudes (drummer i think) smokin a fat joint.
So i wipped out my blunt that i had and sparked it... The guy then asked me if he could hav a hit. So i was like "sure"...
Then we just started passing it around and around, and we just left afterwards...
It was pretty cool, i didn't even know those guys smoked!??
finally a thread dedicated to name dropping. i used to stay in a house where touring bands would crash if they couldnt find another place. thanks to this ive ended up smoking with some of my favorite bands like acid mothers temple, dungen, municipal waste, pearls and brass. i dont know who else.
This was prior to James' selfawareness/proclaimations. If i know James, (and i do) Cannabis will be part of his life for a while.Quote:

i smoked with the guitarist and drummer for this band 12th harmonic chaos(THC) before one of their shows. a local band here.
I was at a NORML convention in DC (I think it was in 2000). I met Jack and was telling him about my book that I was working on about the history of the hemp industry in Pennsylvania. He was very interested and he invited me and my brother and our good friend up to his suite for a smoke and some talk. It was pretty exciting because in the middle of the conversation one of Jack's friends came in and told him that their efforts in Alaska had just paid off. He got word that the question to legalize marijauna had made the ballot.Quote:

I'm pretty sure we did smoke Jack Herer bud. We smoked from his "Double Barrell" bowls that he makes and sells. Jack's really a good guy.
That initiative failed that year though. It came close to passing but some thought it was just a bit too radical because it called for the release of those imprisoned currently on marijauna charges and also called for reperations to those harmed by the laws. People were not willing for the state to pay boat loads of money so it was narrowly defeated.
Jack is a big inspiration to me. When I published my book last year I sent him an autographed copy and I always let everyone know that it was his work which inspired mine.
After reading this thread I'm beginning to think that pretty much everyone in the free world has toked up with Willie Nelson.
my dad fucking had a pint in a bar in the desert with robert plant!!!!!!
AHHHCKKHAHAH!!!!!!
When the kings were in cincinatti, at bogarts i smoked a blunt with d-loc and richter, then they matched me on a blunt of the crip, this weed was so potent that i stayed high for 8 hours. there tour bus is unbeleivable, i walked into one of the rooms and there were 27 ounces in a couple of lugage bags.
